False. Turning down sex establishes this as an option in your relationship. It will be used against you. Your agency is maintained in getting up and saying it’s not working for you (which will trigger her competitive brain / magic pussy syndrome) or you caveman. Get yours, and move along.

NEVER turn down sex, if it’s not good, just get up and say “it’s not working for me, some other time”, say it without emotion or wiff of being butt hurt.

Every issue and question in your post is evidence that you require her validation. You’re afraid of her feelings because you need her to like you. Stop thinking you can control or manipulate her emotions. Use the tools, but have you ever thought about just being honest? Hey babe, what do you think? You: “I like the color honey, but the length is a bit short.” Whatever comes next means nothing. Her emotions are her responsibility. Be a man.

Your need to explain yourself and get her agreement is validation seeking behavior, it’s all about her approval…which you don’t need, shouldn’t require, and is unattractive. Get rid of that instinct. You don’t need her to think a certain way, you just need her to act right. Dont argue. She should obey. That’s it.

Your entire life has been all about her. Sounds simple, but focus on yourself for a change. She cheated, no question, but ignore that for now. Time to be selfish and stop living in her frame. Do something for you.

What indicators will there be that you’ve reached the point of being “on equal footing” worthy of “bringing up some concerns”? Doesn’t that run the risk of being a covert contract? If you feel you’ve reached that point, you likely won’t be having the issues at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
