Find out what you want, focus on that. Like the article says, don't settle for mediocre. Demand more from your life & find out what the 'more' is to you. Change your influences. Habits, lifestyle, friends, information etc. Research & discover influences which will move you towards what you want, then use them to your advantage. Learn as you go along. Take action & evolve through challenges/adversity.

'We live in the age of "meh."' Loved this post, really touches on the fundamentals of our society's mass-consciousness of settling for what they can get & never striving for anything above average in life. The website looks good too, bookmarked & looking forward to future content. Keep it up man.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmKGLe9DOb4 I watched this video after developing oneitus with a girl during my 'Shitty Little Life' phase. After watching it again recently, it resonates much deeper now that I understand the exact position I was in and was the main motivator in my idea to produce this blog post. In general, when guy's don't have their shit together, they end up attaching their sense of self onto the girl & become needy as fuck - I'm sure we've all been guilty of neediness at one …

In your case then, you have nothing to worry about. If you're happy with your life & have purpose, ambitions & all that - you're fine. Did you read the full article? Most guys who are like this end up with the girlfriend scenario I mention. Either that, or they end up with a wife who is too ugly to cheat on them, so they talk three times a day about the weather & stay together to live a bland empty relationship. Women are attracted to guy's who can handle their fucking shit, any 'PUA' will tell …

It means investing in yourself & your time. Let's take an example: let's say you offer drugs to some teenager from the hood. As the hood is all they've known their entire life, it's extremely unlikely that they've bought in to themselves. Therefore, it's basically a short-term decision of whether or not to take the drugs or not to take the drugs. Rather than a long-term decision of take the drugs, or invest time in reading to take a few steps towards future goals. If you have a 'giant goal' that…

There's often a large obsession in the self-improvement industry with finding out exactly where you're going in life and having a purpose/life-calling. It's incredibly easy to get caught up in that and feel like you're confused & lost in life. You're not. My suggestion would be to just work on elements of improving yourself as a person; meditation, deep-breathing, good diet, exercise, reading books, finding mentors - and so on. Sort that aspect of your life out, and just follow wherever your gut…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
