Thanks for the perspective. I'm not sure I agree with it, but I'll certainly add your point of view to my "bank" of knowledge on the subject. I've been on both sides of the fence: believing feminism is bad and that it is good. Trying to decypher this problem and crack the "right" solution is something I feel as though I'm trying to do all the time. Every little helps.

There may be many problems that an organisation will face from a certain type of femimist for sure. I could believe that. What I kind of find hard to believe is true, is that the people in male victim's lives who encourage them to get help instead of shaming them into silence aren't (at least a lot of the time) feminists. Yes. In fact, of all the people I know (both personally and otherwise) it is feminists who come to the side of male rape victims. Almost all of the people I know about who don't consider themselves feminists also don't believe men can be raped. The only exception to this are the very few people I know who identify as MRAs.
