Married for 11, been with her for 15. I know I have a long way to go, I'm still getting my legs here and I wasn't sure if slipping was OK. I've just had a stressful week and was concerned about it. I just needed a check to see if that was normal.

Since then there has been a marked improvement in her. When she hit me, she wasn't really going hard, she just got me right on the muscle in my jaw, essentially giving it a charlie horse. I'm not taking shit any more and she's picking up the slack. Long, long way to go but the fighting has dramatically decreased. I'm definitely not afraid of divorce, I'm working on me, trying this red pill thing and seeing where it goes. Might as well get in shape and work my red pill muscles on "hard mode". If …

I've only been here about a month, seen some minor improvements but have a LONG way to go still. I am/was a fat slob. I"m down 30lbs and lifting, physically I feel a million times better already. Read NMMNG and am working on WISNIFG now. Like this guy, I had the same questions. I have no fucking clue how to flirt with my wife. Not sure if you read but I'm the dude whose wife hit me a couple weeks back. She's cold and shows about zero affection, sex life is still no better, once every 3 months is…

I went numb to the shit about a month ago, still glad I found this place. It's a work in progress.

Really wishy knew about this shit 20 years ago. That's pretty much the boat I'm scratching to get out of.

I can definitely use all the help that I can get and I'd appreciate that. That is some pretty good encouragement but I still have a feeling this is a one way train headed to divorce. Not sure if this info is worth anything but she was a virgin when I met her. Really religious, took me a while to wear that down. She was boring in the sack until about 3 years ago. Sex is still few and far between though. I've seen some progress with her with just the basic shit I've done. Still a long way to go an…

No unfortunately I went and got the box and replied to the messages after a bit. I'm still not through the prerequisites here, not trying to go crazy, but all of the input here has been helpful. I got out of the house alone today. Went out for a bike ride this morning and then I showered and went to the movies. She texted me while I was out asking if I could pick up some chicken salad from the grocery store on my way home. I did.... Of course it was grilled chicken salad and not rotisserie like …

No, we were standing in the kitchen. She got me right on the muscle in my jaw, probably wouldn't have been as bad otherwise.

I asked for the address for that reason and she didn't know. Even if she did, it was some barn off of a dirt road.

When I first started in June where I quit caring, I pretty much knew divorce was coming. I wanted to rough it out through vacation next month so I figured I'd give this a try. It makes a lot of sense. The way I've gone about life isn't healthy. I've spent my life trying to make other people happy, neglecting my own happiness. I need this either way, but honestly, since the wedding, other than a few moments she has been a little better. She hasn't been nagging me as much and she's shown me some a…

No, this was the first time she's ever tried anything like this. When it happened I told her that was never acceptable, gritted teeth, appropriately angry/authoritatively. Before I thought walking away or going silent was a woman's way of handling the situation but I'm going to have to start implementing that. Since then she hasn't been as much of a bitch. Hell, since the wedding she's been a lot better, she just doesn't like that I don't care about her bullshit on occasion and bucks at that. Bu…

Well, by calm I mean not getting flustered by her BS and launching into a bevy of apologies to quickly appease her and quiet the situation as quickly as possible. I've had several epiphanies with NMMNG. Pretty much everything I do for her is a covert contract trying to prevent episodes like tonight. All of the lopsided children tending and housework , hoping that maybe if I do actually remember to put that bookbag away next time she'll be happy and not be so much of a twat to me.

No, this was in the kitchen. She went and signed up for this farmer's produce box thing and asked me to pick it up. I didn't know where this farm was and she was trying to tell me how to get to it.

Thanks for the info. No, it's the first time she's done anything physical though.

Yeah, I still need to join a gym. I'm still losing weight, still have a long way to go. Getting back to the gym will be key though, I loved to lift in high school.

It's been about a month. I don't see that one coming back anytime soon. Not getting flustered or rushing to apologize for absolutely nothing and having it make no difference is quite freeing.

At that point in my story, the "uh oh" is of sarcasm. I really don't care any more if she's upset at me. Trying to "fix" it has never worked, so fuck it, I'm done caring about her moods.

Thanks for all of the effort into these posts, I really appreciate it. It won't go to waste.

Oh yeah, I'm done asking. Took me 15 years to figure it out, but now I see that it doesn't work and more importantly I realize that doing more, asking more will never help my cause. I relish the shit tests at home right now, it's just in public that I don't like; she's not afraid to put on a show. I just need to work on my frame.

kind of figured this would be the reply. I know I still have a long way to go...and yeah, after that trip back, I was all strapped into my parachute. I figured I'll give this a go though, either way, it's what I need to do; with or without her.

I'm working on it. I made one last post in dead bedrooms saying I'm at the end of my rope and figured I may be heading over to /r/divorce next. I knew about TRP but had no idea it could be applied to my situation, I thought it was just PUA stuff, I didn't know this sub existed. So this is it. I man up and tame this shit or I cut my losses and start finding happiness.

Once you take your first steps, going by Matrix rules, I think you can swallow the red pill. Part of all of this is REALIZING that the way you've been living isn't doing shit for you. The first step is swallowing the red pill and realizing the world of shit that your beta behavior has landed you in. Now, from there you can go and learn kung-fu, or you can go hide in the corner and maybe go have a steak with cipher.

I'd imagine it's like dealing with an addict. If they don't come to the conclusion on their own that they need to change their life, nothing will, they'll half ass out and wind up right where they were.

I'm just starting out too, just started reading NMMNG and I have one of those.
