What constitutes a "fair" life?

I would spend your time that you have after work looking for a job that's closer to you. Even if it were to pay a little less, it could buy you more time and/or energy, which could help you with other areas of your life. My best practical advice

They personalize and internalize negative self-talk Can someone explain this sentence a little deeper? What does it mean to "personalize" negative self-talk? Like the negative things you say about yourself in your head may be projected into reality?

I think some people are missing the point here. OP is saying the youtuber simply made an observation that when women go from one guy to the next, she loses a little bit of herself. I think that's actually pretty obvious to understand, as he even explained in the comments, she will be thinking about chad #1, #2, etc.. You also don't have to have sex with someone to know if they're going to be a good partner or not, so women can be monogamous, while being hypergamous as well. These two concepts do…

I think that this is a good example of TRP principles in academic literature, but it's just less explicit with actually quoting TRP principles. I'm sure there's more literature on other topics, it's just labelled as something else. Basically TRP scientific literature exists, just not explicitly, it's more reading between the lines

I'm not sure I have much advice to offer, but I can certainly offer some support. No matter how hard it may be, at the end of the day you are only 24, and at least you haven't knocked up some girl either. I'm assuming you have minimal expenses so that's a plus, first thing you should do is start studying to write the test for your license and get that rolling. Maybe try to get a job, but if that's too much at once, take smaller steps. Stop taking alcohol from your parents for example. Try writ…

I was with this girl who I thought was wifey material. She was 18 and a virgin. We waited for 6 months to have sex and I also falsely assumed that this made her more wifey material than other girls who were desperate to lose their virginity. After 2 years of dating her, she finally started experimenting with other guys... and well, hard lesson learned. Don’t make the same mistake. Like others have noted, there are much better indicators for wifey material

Man, you're asking a question with a HUGE sampling bias haha, it's basically pre-determined what the responses will be on this subreddit. Just pointing that out incase you actually wanted genuine responses

I disagree with you only because I think you may be misinterpreting what OP is getting at. You simply cannot expect respect, regardless of who you are or what you've done. There will be someone out there who will not respect you and he's just saying that it shouldn't matter to you.. that's it. Not everyone respects someone who is "doing things right," because what those "things" are may not be relevant to that individual, therefore why should they respect you?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
