If everyone you are working with has 60-70 hour work week it's really not that hard to see why their relationships are struggling. I did that for 6 years in my 20's and it's rough. You are always exhausted it's difficult to maintain your house and get everything you need done, done; let alone do anything fun. I did end up losing a house and relationship after 8 years and part of that may well have been due to working long hours all the time for years on end. I ended up taking an $8/hour pay cut …

I do not want the discussion of this OP to devolve in that direction yet again. It's moderately funny when people subscribing to hypergamy/trp get uppity about the idea, but i suspect that's an evolved reaction as well. Hypergamy is there to ensure women have the best possible offspring genetically the invention of birth control doesn't change the billion years or so of evolution that has resulted in mankind so the behavior is still there if the results aren't. Monogamy is the attempt at securin…

FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS OP, I DO NOT CARE ABOUT MEN And No thinking woman would take that deal. Let me get this straight. You want to look at a relationship as an economic exchange without looking at what a man brings to the table? A motto I live by is take what you want and pay for it. You can't look at the cost of a thing while disregarding the value it brings and make an honest assessment of the value. In this case you can not talk about whether it's worth it to be married for a woman by onl…

I would find alternatives to accommodate her but would never be okay with an open relationship. I've got a couple thousand dollars worth of toys and consider myself to be pretty kinky but the more people involved in a relationship the more points of failure and risk you are bringing in. It isn't worth it. If the woman insisted it wasn't enough i would just find another woman. If she wants to fuck other people then i guess she doesn't need me.

Granted i have been out of the game for 5 years or so but I think success is going to be defined by the objective. In NSA sex it definitely favors women, there's an endless supply of horny guys around anytime they want a scratch itched. In LTR's i think it favors the top %30 of men and women while the bottom 70% of men are hungry and desperate for sex and affection. The bottom %70 of women on the other hand have watched so many disney movies that they have unrealistic expectations about some mag…

Do you really think the dating market doesnt favor women? I sort of figured they liked confidence and security and both of those things a 30 year old can provide much more of then a 20 year old.

No it's more about trying to see the reals despite the feels. The objective is to understand the mechanics and get something out of inter-gender politics the driving force behind that desire is an intense need. Both will vary from person to person. Some may have been cheated on or fiscally castrated or maybe just got out of a loveless mirage so they will intensely search for a way to figure out the "system" in order to get what they want respective to their motivation. Those who were cheated on …

The fact that trp is a place guys who are really pissed if at women and the world go to spiew the anger and vitriol they are feeling out. It's an emotional crutch that provides direction and a feeling of power/ control over the circumstances they are facing. Many do mean the nasty stuff they say when they are in the anger phase but later they get over it.

“We’re the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War’s a spiritual war… our Great Depression is our lives. We’ve all been raised on television to believe that one day we’d all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won’t. And we’re slowly learning that fact. And we’re very, very pissed off.” ― Chuck Palahniuk

Women have a reactive sex drive. They don't "need" it in the same way men do. Many don't even think about sex unless chad walks by.

I think that a lot of men would marry that woman. The chances of getting married to her go up the younger the man in question is statistically. The problem is with feminism influencing the legal system the legal contract of marriage is all teeth against a man. It is a huge liability to get married and the older a guy gets/the more fiscal assets he has the worse the consequences of divorce.

Go read the 48 laws of power and the five love languages. The first is Machiavellian philosophy for the laymen and relates various tenants through historical examples. The second is a much mushier book about relationships. It focuses on what makes people feel loved and asserts that people show love in different ways. I found both to be helpful and was able to relate them to myself and past experiences and gained a lot of understanding about myself through contemplating past experiences.

The woman is on the hook. She still has to be the baby's mother. We were talking about the woman whom does not want to keep her baby though. We all know why child support exists, so thats a red herring in this discussion. The woman whom gets knocked up and has an abortion because "her body her choice" is the one were discussing. That argument is the same position anti vaxxers assert. It's my body and discomfort so nobody should dictate what i do to it. I disagree with this heartily because by yo…

That's true, but only if your male. A woman at any time can decide she wants to absolve herself if all responsibility via an abortion. If a man must be accountable for his actions %100 of the time I think it is perfectly reasonable that If his partner wants an abortion she should be required to consult him about it and he should have some say in having his child killed. We saw this fail when everyone decided to put off adulthood and pursue education doggedly, lots of wreckage made by that choice I think that's actually a much more interesting discussion then op's assertion. Women are more in demand then men. This is wholly due to men having on average higher sex drives. When you have a limited supply vs a high demand you create value. I would argue that men on average are more attractive then women. This is because to be competitive and desirable a guy has to really take care of himself much more then a woman does. When I go to the gym is usually a 70/30 ratio of men to women. If you pay attention in public places you'll probably notice the ratio of obesity is high…

I think the point he is making is if you said you like blonds (because hey who doesn't?) but what you actually like is petite women some of which happen to be blond you aren't really being honest. It's not blonds you like it's a specific aspect that some blonds may or may not possess. In the nice guy scenario there is a moral agenda that encourages women to not be completely honest. The keyword is "suitable". We have a generation of kids whom have been spoon-fed Disney princess movies all their lives. They expect to put in zero effort and just have a loaded, jacked Prince charming fall into their laps. Reality minus expectations= disappointment. In this case there's lots of young men whom are marriage material and looking for commitment but they don't meet that zero effort, fiscally endowed, pumped up expectation the girls are looking for and so aren't "suitable".

Sounds ideal. The chances of divorce increase dramatically the more sexual partners a person has. The amount of emotional baggage does too. It's very attractive to have one person in your life whom takes a physical and emotional relationship seriously because when commitment does happen you know it's not a thing they engage in lightly and you are that much more likely to stay together indefinitely.

I'm sorry you believe that, in a healthy relationship the work is split equally if not identically. Netflix is more expensive then torrenting a movie but its more convenient too. It is also essentially unlimited so anyone that wants it has easy access.

Go read the 5 love languages. It has a lot of good incites. The premise is that different people express and feel love in different ways. A person who values quality time for instance will not appreciate a gift as much as just setting some time aside for a nice conversation. If you can identify the things that make your partner feel loved and focus on those you'll hit the golden 80/20 rule in the love department no problem.

If we are speaking generally and on average Its my opinion there is a sliding scale on the age axis. Once you get to the late 30's and older generally men look better then women. Women in their 20's and 30's on average take the aesthetic cake in my opinion though.

That's solid advice those non-pipe-cleaner-arm-gains will absolutely help. Just beware of trying to "create attraction" with women. You men, unfortunately, will never understand that for a woman fucking a man she is not attracted to in order to survive, even if he is gentle and it's not 'rape', is a form of traumatic abuse. You've made a very solid point regarding religion and tradition essentially acting as a ballast. In the west there is a huge reaction currently against Christianity and the values it represents. The result is people abandoning those values more and more things like abortion, sex, and morality are pushed into the category of "choice" the Bible lays out a solid law for all of these things. What we are seeing currently is that foundation eroding in our culture.

Your the reason people hate feminism. Feminists could focus on gender mutilation or women's rights in places women don't have rights. Instead manspreading... If you don't understand how stupid this is It would be a more productive use of my time to explain it to my coffee table.

I think it is, because they're indirectly trying to influence someone else's behavior instead of communicating what they want out of the relationship. By that logic holding in a fart must be manipulative too ;)

This sounds more like a nature vs nurture argument to me which ties in nicely with op's observation that trp focuses on differences between men and women. That seems like a good place to start these differences are they social or hardwired into our biology? I personally believe the latter plays a much larger role in gender rolls. Look at David Reimer for example. If you haven't ever read anything about that case he was a boy who had his penis removed after a botched circumcision a quack doctor t…

Who said anything about inferior or superior anyway. Someone with a more submissive personality is not any less then a dominant person. They're just different personality traits, like anything it's just a balancing act to find a happy medium going to far in either direction can be unhealthy but neither is good or bad in its self.

Just out of curiosity what about this post bothers you? I know trp has a bad rep but do you really have nothing better to do then make asinine comments on inoffensive and even sensible material?

Guy here 5'9 isn't bad at all. there are lots of tall/sexy amazon women (i mean that fondly that's what a tall friend of mine jokingly called herself) out there. Personally i'm 6'0 and have dated gals my heighth without it bothering me in the slightest.

Why do you think you need to have sex to have a valid relationship? If you are sociable and experienced with relationships you know you can just say no to any situation you aren't comfortable with. Just find a guy you like date him and don't move it along any faster then you are ok with. Also get the dick off the pedestal a little. Don't have casual hookups but don't put so much emphasis on avoiding sex for the sake of avoiding it. It would be nice if your first sexual partner were "the one" (i …

There's extreme views in any group, that said i think there is a lot of wisdom in the red pill outlook, if you can filter out some of the misogyny anyways. Every person is a product of their life experiences. For example i have a red pill friend in real life who is so good looking intelligent and generally charming he tends to come off as very vain. Its mostly because he looks for those quality's in the people he is dating. I guess if you didn't know him you might consider him prejudiced against…

Forcing your beliefs onto others is an action not a form of government. Do you remember how our forefathers in your own words established a republic with inalienable rights. They shot people... to steal a quote "the government should be afraid of its people not the people their government." We need to keep that ability or we will turn into kiev.

Men have a tendency to take more risks. Look at business statistics for instance Here's a study of forbes 500 companies only 21 out of the top 500 companies are run by women. There are several reasons legitimate obstacles women have to overcome listed in the article. Things like the women owned businesses tend to be newly established (the growth rate is up %50 over the last decade) or the businesses tend to be in things that the banking industry doesn't have a lot of experience in like nail salo…

I like that the cameraman stood up for himself, and the girl really didn't seem to mind but he could have had a little more style then calling the bike clown goober twenty times. At least bump it up to 6th grade insults.
