What do you mean 'he makes a big deal of it'? Is he asking for praise and attention for cleaning? If so, are you giving it to him? I don't know if this applies to you, so feel free to ignore it if it doesn't, but sometimes we punish people for trying, and it incentivizes them never to try. If he does some cleaning and you act like he hasn't done it properly, he's never going to want to clean. How tidy does he want the house to be?

Slow carb works great for me. Have a look online. It's a bit less restrictive than slow carb and you can eat whatever you want once a week!

On your previous posts you said that you weren't good with money. Is this part of the issue? I think the best way you can help yourself is through financial education. A trip to Europe makes a lot more sense if you can see exactly how much the investments are netting. Money makes more money if it's in the hands of financially intelligent people. It disappears if given to anyone else. You need to move from the former to the latter category if you don't want to introduce excess strain on your rela…

This may be true for you, but this statement asserts that 90% of the time, men see no value in women outside sexual or romantic potential. Of course men can see women as friends. Would they have sex with them if given the opportunity? 90% of the time, yes. It's about discerning who's treating you like a potential lay and who's in it for friendship. Then, putting strong boundaries in place.

It's really open minded of you to reach out. Keep that attitude, it'll take you far. I'm kind of a tomboy too. Sometimes this place doesn't feel like it fits me, either. I think that's the point of a healthy community though. Everyone brings their own version of reality to the table and works it out. I'm not going to answer all of your questions but I will answer the first. Modern feminist society paints housewives as women who were forced into the home and made to cook and clean all day. Essent…

Maybe try helping him figure out his thought process. This isn't a chance for you to nag or give your opinions on why he's doing what he's doing. Instead, try gently asking him what's happening in his mind. It's possible that he's stuck in a specific habit and thought pattern, and verbalizing his thoughts may be the trick to helping him get unstuck.

Great to hear you're on the path to self improvement! When I was single, I treated dating as a numbers game, and ended up using dating apps and going on dates quite frequently. I'd also encourage you to look into hobbies that involve group interaction! I do jiu jitsu and love it. Men outnumber women, too. It can be pricey to sign up for a gym, but that means that the attendees are: A. Good enough with money to pay the fees B. Financially prioritizing their health and fitness Cycling fits into th…

The first thing that comes to mind is whether he is getting enough sleep. This sounds like exhaustion to me. As for your relationship dynamics, here's the fundamental question: Does he think it's in the family's best interest for him to be at the head of the family? If the answer is no, you have a values problem. You both believe in a different path towards success. Perhaps success looks different for both of you. I would wager that he, in fact, does want to be the head of the family. If this is…

The body is so complicated that we still to this day can't figure out the ideal diet. Realistically, both of you have vastly oversimplified explanations of the body. The good news is that you're also both right, to an extent. Calorie restriction and IF have both been found by the scientific community to be useful. IF is not only useful because of caloric restrictions. There's other useful mechanisms involved, like autophagy.

This is definitely a you problem. What is going on in your psyche that led you to find a guy with the same trait as your dad? I'm not saying this is a lost cause, but you and your partner both have deep issues that are becoming entangled with one another. You need to do some inner work. I prefer seeing a coach (as long as you find the right one) but if you're not into that go to therapy.

Change employers if you're so inclined- it's a great way to earn more money. Apply for your dream jobs for a few minutes after work every day. As a side note, I think we'll probably see the results of these actions in 5-10 years. Businesses still need money to survive. If hiring based on diversity is a good move, businesses which do so will prosper. If not, businesses hiring on merit will do better.

The Surrendered Wife is a good book to read. But honestly I'd want to know what the extent of his substance abuse is before I'd recommend staying with him. You also mentioned you were worried about abuse. What red flags have you seen to indicate that?

Not trying to get on my high horse here, but when he says coke what he probably means is 'a white powder some guy I barely know gave me'. It's often mixed with meth and who knows what else. I'm not against drug use, but if it comes in a pill or a powder you don't know what you're getting.

Setting up an environment that encourages good habits is key. I've built a little home gym with equipment I found on FB Marketplace. I find that if the weights are within my line of sight everyday I'm much more likely to use them. Try to exercise every day, even if it's just a walk. Start off small, like 10 minutes a day or even less, as long as you do it. Slowly increase the time and intensity from there. Diet wise, the easiest thing to do is cut juice, soda and (especially) alcohol out of your…

It's great that you're avoiding alcohol, especially at a young age. Your body and mind will thank you for it! I'm not sure of your situation, so it's hard to gauge how toxic they are. Are the feminists threatening to kick you out of the group, or not invite you to places if you don't wear what they want? If so, this is a major red flag. What you wear is your choice and yours alone. When talking about others, do they ignore their their character and criticise them based on how they dress? This is…

On top of advising you to stop speaking to him, I'd encourage you to explore how you go into this relationship in the first place. What part of you thought it was acceptable for him to lie and cheat on you?

You're overthinking it. These are hobbies without a doubt, and you should be proud that you're doing something enriching. Keep practicing regularly. In a few years you'll be amazed by your improvements, and the skills will change you in ways you don't expect.

What bothers me most, besides him abandoning his family, is the victim mentality. Everyone makes mistakes. The victim mentality means he never learned from them. For example: He got kicked out of a company because the cofounders were betas? That doesn't even make sense. If they were actual lower status males, and he was higher status, they would have looked to him for leadership. Blaming them indicates a complete lack of acceptance of personal responsibility. Past bankruptcy is a red flag for me…

Hey guys! I recently made a podcast with Janice Fiamengo and thought I'd share it here. Janice is a professor of literature at the University of Ottawa, and an advocate of Men's Rights. We talked about #MeToo, Bill Cosby and MGTOW amongst other topics. I'd love to hear your opinions!
