This sub feels more dedicated to anti-feminist reactionism than actually tackling issues of, say, getting more men in traditionally female career paths, better parental and custody rights for men, dealing with the over-medication of boys, etc. etc. It's not anti-science to hold a professional accountable for saying ignorant and harmful things, especially when they directly relate to his workplace. Even though there's a lot of shit in this thread, I'm glad I read down far enough to see your post. Not to jack the thread, but I will, down here at the bottom. Why not? The thread's supposed purpose isn't exactly panning out, anyway. I already replied to OP about how bullying effected my own experiences. I think it's pretty cute that you assume if someone's not into RP that they are all about the political correctness. My least political correct beliefs are probably the childfree ones. I'd like the government to start giving out incentives for not overpopulating. By the way, which version of "politically correct" are we talking about here? Because last I knew, Republicans scream just as loud and shrill as Democrats. But I think mine makes 'em both cry, and that's nice.
