Why post that here, why not the regular sub? Are people leaving the regular sub because of how bad it's gone? I know I got banned for telling a mod he had no frame. GayLubeOil became a little bitch lately.

Probably a good idea. TRP went bad a while back. GayLubeOil turned into a whinny bitch with no frame. Too many incels and MGTOW and not enough core RP.
/r/RedPillParenting09/06/21 12:27 PM

MGTOW always seemed like a funny term. Just incels trying to give themselves a better name. A funny subway of TRP.

Seems the whole thing went over your head. They were saying that he was going to be raped in jail, and so saying she deserves what he would have got implies rape. It is more about how we as a society joke about men being raped as punishment, and act as if men in jail deserve it. You almost play a satirical example of the person who is only outraged at the idea of it happening to women.

Ah, maybe in terms of badly written school rules it would mean that. In a moral sense he was not doing anything wrong. In terms of fighting he was doing the right thing. Some people have been badly hurt by backing up too soon.

She didn't fall unconscious, just lost her footing. Seeing how she kept hitting and got up and kept hitting he was right to not stop. He was not excessive, he was winning. There is a big difference. I would agree if she had actually gone down, or if he kicked her head or something.

Nothing has changed from the past. People are exactly how they have always been. Thousands of years ago people complained about society moving too fast, how the youth no longer listen to their elders. They complained about athletes only doing it for the money back in gladiator days.

When you are twenty there is no difference between 35 and 45. They are all part of the same middle aged group. I was just talking to a couple young girls at work the other day who were complaining about Karen's. Saying how middle aged moms were just the worst. They throw out the age 35 as a guess to what a middle aged mothers age probably is.

85%... way to look too deeply at the 80/20 ratio. Statistics do not work how people think they do.

Nothing to do with 2009, and everything to do with customer service. Karen's are a meme for customer service workers today. They all agree the absolute worst customers, the most entitled by far, are the Karen's. The mid 30's moms.

Man, the misunderstanding of statistics on this 80%/20% issue is absurd. It does not mean what you guys think it means. There is no hard line where 80% are virgins and 20% get all the sex really easy. Most guys who talk about it are their own worst enemies. You are why you do not get laid. It is almost entirely your attitude. In no way will hookup apps matter for anything significant. They are just for hooking up. They are irrelevant.

It actually is contribution. It sounds a little douchebagy only because air feel some guys need some TRP treatment of tough love. I guess this sub isn't just TRP vs TBP discussion. I am often shocked how unTRP many of the guys here seem to be, mainly in that they complain about life being hard as if someone should make it easier for us. The thing is women tend to be the gatekeepers for sex. So men tend to be the gatekeepers for relationships. Women decide who gets sex, and the man decides if he …

Ok, while this isn't exactly an 80/20 rant post I just got to have my rant reply to the general idea: So what? Man up and don't be a bitch about it. I see a lot of guys bitching about the idea that 20% of the guys get 80% of the girls, and the worst part is how poor it makes your math skills look. They assume that means 80% of men are virgins. Well that is not how statistics work. Get this fact through your heads. Half of all hetero sex is had by men, and the other half is had by women. Some guy…

It's more of a womans fantasy than a man's. Hell, I had a friend who thought that books was bad for both being not very kinky, just something bored housewives fond kinky, and also not showing the consent required in those types of relationships.

The problem is made bigger by society not taking it seriously. In our society men being raped is a joke. Only women being raped is taken seriously. This is why we all joke about men getting raped in prison, or consider it justified since they are in prison.

See, in that case he said yes early on, and hen it's too late. I wonder how many guys might be more honest with themselves early on, and help the girl make a more informed decision.

A legal document just saying you did not consent to making a child would be all I am talking about. Obviously he should have a shorter window of opportunity though as it may impact her decision, and she only has 3 months to decide.

I would never even think to allow the man to force an abortion, or force the woman not to have an abortion. The main problem I have with saying the guy made his choice when he decided to have sex is that the exact same can be said for a woman. Yet that seems to be most peoples reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/20 02:03 AM
3

In the end I argue this only to be objective. I personally think any guy not supporting the kid is a loser. I am also fully supportive of a womans right to choose to have an abortion. I just think that viewed objectively a guy should have some limited window, less than the woman has as it may impact her decision, to decide of he wanted to be a father. I already have kids, but back when I used condoms I found they broke often enough. There are also women who lie about birth control, and other out…

From what I have seen men can be forced to pay, even if the child is not theirs, and not be given any right to be in the child's life. Not to mention courts that never enforce the fathers rights. Do men have the right to sign such papers before birth, and does he woman have any say in his ability to sign away that right?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/20 10:19 PM

Yes, she is deciding for him. Why does she get to choose for both of them after conception? Why does she get a choice after conception, but he does not? His income is earned with his body. She decides his bodily autonomy for the next couple decades. So either we want equality, where both get to choose after conception, or we do not want equality. At which point men should make more money than women because men are expected to provide for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/20 04:47 PM
3

I get that it doesn't protect the children. My issue is that the woman decides for the man. When a woman gets pregnant the guy loses bodily autonomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/20 04:10 PM
2

Exactly. Society loves to pay for women who cannot exercise self control. You made a great case to make elective abortions illegal.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/20 04:08 PM
2

If a woman can decide after conception if she will be a parent the man should also have that right. People say he only has financial responsibility, but one gets money with their body. At the same time the rights of a father must be strengthened, and the courts needs to stop favouring women. Sadly it won't change until many judges have retired. Men have no parental rights, only parental obligations. Just as men have no reproductive rights, only reproductive obligations.

While I get that it is a bit different in that first example, if the guy won't go down on her at all, but a girl who won't let you finish in her mouth does a horrible job. Maybe both should have been told to leave the other. Never stay with a girl who won't swallow, or a guy who won't go down on a girl. The second one is a complete double standard though, and the context is less important than you make it. Men have no reproductive rights and that is a massive problem. That double standard needs …

There is no further purpose. DNA is a self replicating molecule that created proteins to form cell walls to help it continue to self replicate. Therefore the purpose of life is to continue that propagation of the DNA molecule. One can find their own purpose in life, but the purpose of life is to propagate the self replicating molecule.

It is not a simple conclusion that the societal pattern is misogyny. Hormones and biology definitely play some roll. To assume they make no difference would be foolish.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/20 04:46 AM

So then there is likely another reason for it. Maybe she prefers to be with the kids. Maybe the kids prefer her. Maybe she just wants the time away from work. Jumping to misogyny is almost never the right answer.

Yeah, I do not know anything about those groups hunting methods, just that they could run very well. It doesn't change anything that we have been hunting with dogs for a long time. It doesn't change what I have said.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 10:58 PM
2

We are the hominid that used that hunting method. Ever since we invented agriculture though things have changed. There were examples of indigenous groups that could still do it. I think the last were wiped out recently by drug cartels using them to run drugs.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 10:47 PM

You may not believe it, but this is what the evidence shows. Humans could out run horses, dogs, anything. No need to Wound it first, but that would help.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 10:39 PM
2

We are not examples of humans in any physical condition to hunt like that. If we had been raised like prehistoric humans we would outrun any dogs. Not out sprint, but out run. We can keep jogging and jogging fast all day without stopping to dump heat. We dump heat as we move.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 10:17 PM
2

We out perform dogs and wolves by a long shot. They constantly stop to pant because they have no other way to remove excess heat. Humans are he absolute peak at this. I am not really trying to downplay the importance of intelligence to our species. It is just that what I have heard from the related fields is that we have found it wasn't just intelligence alone that got us ahead. Especially when you consider we were competing with other intelligent primates at the time. There were other tool user…

That study should have talked to more employers. I know from experience that employers see fathers as more dependable' and less likely to ask for time off. The same employers see mothers as less dependable because they are more likely to ask for time off. In both cases the employers are correct. They are not making assumptions so much as they are making decisions based on experience. Also the study needs to look at how often the father is pressured to work more by the mother. Hell, I met my wife…

The OP was talking about mother's not women as a whole. Better to ask what percentage of mothers are married. His statistics broke down mothers working full time vs mothers working part time.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 08:50 PM

It is also a very objective way of looking at the issue. You seem like a good candidate to answer the question as to why you romanticize love and dislike the facts of love being stated.

This right here. It actually was not our brains so much as our sweat glands that really out us on the top of the food chain. Physical fitness is just as important as brains to our survival. There were other intelligent hominids. There is the idea hat we out competed the Neanderthal because we had more distinct gender roles as early humans allowing for better socialisation.

Yes, I could have fleshed it out a bit more, but I had already said that I did not mean that men do it consciously. I was talking more about in general, not as a specific guys thoughts.

You are confusing what I said with the idea that men consciously decide to impress women through playing sports. Being a healthy athletic guy is not irrelevant to attracting women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 05:33 PM

I didn't mean that men make a conscious decision to impress women when playing sports. Just that a lot of male competition is used as the gauge by which women judge men.

I didn't say anything about the difficulty of getting laid. I said that the criteria a girl has to meet to make a guy want sex from her is much lower than he criteria a girl has to meet for a guy to want to have any kind of relationship with, or even date.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 11:39 PM

Mail order is a bad way to go. Just fly out there on vacation. Most guy, especially from North America, will find that they are he ones being hit on and turning girls away and picking the one you want. Besides the fact that many want to be able to move and live a better lifestyle, you are exotic and attractive because of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 11:37 PM
4

No, not one bit. The criteria to sleep with a woman a very low. The criteria to keep a woman around for a relationship are quite different. I think many women feel the same way about men. There are lots of women that men would sleep with, but fewer than they would commit to.

It is a win all around. The guys I know doing it are in their 50's with wives in their 30's, and clean homes with dinners made. They bought houses back in their wives countries and go there for their vacation homes, and plan on retiring out there with their retirement cheque going a lot further over there.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 04:58 PM

Easier to bring the wives back here. I know some guys who after getting divorced went and got some wives from the Phillipines. I know another guy who's father was a miner and they all went to Asian countries to get wives. They had happy lives from what I heard.

This is why the leading cause of most of women's problems with the way men view women is the actions of other women. Women get mad at men for thinking things about women that other women taught those men to think. Incentives are important, but economic incentives are only one type of incentive. This is why economists are poor at predicting behaviour. They look at one set of incentive as in a vaccuum. It is on the larger average class level that I am correct. It is more expensive for tax payers to not fund social services. It is cheaper to prevent a problem then to fix a problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 03:36 PM

I know you are too ideological to look at the facts objectively. It is a well established fact that children raised without fathers have trouble. I like that you are cherry picking one of the list of problem to try to deny that one and consider that to mean fathers are not needed. Well even your cherry picking failed.

When people do the approaching they are often looking up, not down. I was going to disagree, but in my history the women who approached me may fit that category.

It is too late, you are ignoring the evidence, and your idea that crime is only related to poverty has no merit. Just because crime also links to poverty doesn't change the fact that being raised without a father is also linked to crime. If all you want is for the child to survive, then no mothers and fathers are both not required. If you want a child to be raised well though you need both.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 02:09 PM

Social services are not an incentive for degenerate behaviour. Degenerate behaviour is something degenerates do regardless of where they get their income. As for black single mothers... no answers. Look to the local cultures and gangs in the ghettos. The fact is most of that money helps people who only need it temporarily, and the government makes people jump through hoops just to get the smallamount they do get.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 02:06 PM
2

All of it is redistributional. Some is redistributed to infrastructure, and some to services. Social services are an important service. Many only use them for a short time and it prevents them from falling through the cracks. It also reduces crime at a rate far cheaper than policing crime after the fact. The complicated part being that money is always redistributed. That is the job of the government. Who it is given to depends on who that government seeing as its voters in a democracy, or keys t…

Not really. You are the one saying that the government does not provide services.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 01:42 PM
5

Well, disagree with experts and evidence if you want. Yes crime is a factor in crime. Children raised without fathers is also a factor in crime. You can't just hand wave it away and pretend it is only poverty. Single mothers existing does not support your idea. If anything the years of evidence of single mothers existing show how essential fathers are to children being healthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 01:42 PM
5

I didn't mean to imply the OP was about celebrating single mothers. It was just a common idea pushed in our culture for years. It turns out to have been a damaging idea. Economic ideas are kind of irrelevant. Fathers are not ATM machines. They provide children with far more than just money.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 01:38 PM
2

Seeing people upset with your misguided opinion is not evidence to support your ideas. Fathers are essential to the mental health of children. Children raised without fathers are more likely to have problems with crime and substance abuse, and psychological problems. Not just for money. Incase you didn't know men are more than ATM machines.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 01:36 PM

The government is the people, so what you said is a redundant statement. You were provided with a stable nation to be raised in. You were provided an education. You were provided sanitation services. You were provided with police services. You are being asked to pay for services rendered. The government doesn't steal your money, you are wanting to steal services from society. You want to be a freeloading parasite.

You do not pay taxes to single mothers. You pay taxes to the government. The government provided services long before you ever paid any taxes.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 12:49 PM

Single moms are proof of how important fathers are. Single mothers have shown us how damaging it can be to a child for there not to be two parents raising the child. Single mothers have shown us how essential men are in raising children. Fathers are equally important as mothers to a child's development.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 12:48 PM

Being a single mother is difficult. They should be supported. This isn't because it is noble to be a single mother, but because we want children to be raised well, and it is very difficult without at least two adults in the house. Children raised by single mothers do not do as well, which is why we need the traditional family unit. It is a disservice to children to not consider a proper family to be important. From what I have gathered talking to older people they use to just keep quiet about things more. They had just as much sex back then, if not more. They had less alternative entertainment. Yes. I did that years ago when first learning TRP. At first I had a bit of that angry phase you see in many young RP guys. Then I backed off and started up and just dealt with myself. Self improvement is not about convincing others to think like you. When you stop being tribal and fighting with people things become a lot clearer anyway. Plus once you just concentrate on self improvement everyone is more open to you and you find a lot of people live in the grey area and only sound tribal when the…

Idealistic love and real love. I think it is more healthy to find real love than to try and fail to find an idealistic version built by writers and artists. To me that is real love. Opportunistic is more about the nature of attraction for women. It is about how they judge men. Men compete and women seek the winners, at least on some instinctual level.

Says the person who is not RP... If you accept women as people, and are honest with yourself about how women tend to be, you can see those actions positively. It is when you try to impose how you think people should be that you start to judge them negatively. Look at TRPWomen. They are great examples of positive women. Embracing ones gender role can feel healthy if you were trying to force yourself to be different. If you do not fit your gender role it is the same thing. It feels healthy to embr…

Yes, but there is more too it then just that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:56 AM

No... TRP is about a few things, but definitely not that. Some say it is about sexual strategy, but mostly just about how men need to try harder to be attractive and can not rely on just being a provider. It is about learning to man up. Be the best you that you can be. Quit doing things that distract you. Identify what you want and work toward that. If you want hookers, find the beat hookers. If you want a wife, find a woman who is wide Material. If you want whatever, work toward that.

Hard to say at first if you are more confused about what women want, or what men respect. In the end you list that the traits are actually the same, but the reason for the attraction/respect are different. That is true. I do not think most men care as much as you think if a particular quality is earned, or genetic. Confidence, or skill, most guys do not care. They will respond to the confidence. A guy with skill and no confidence will be pushed around and have his skills taken advantage of by ot…

The problem TRP has with being a provider is about how he role has lost value in modern society. How it use to make a man valuable, but now it doesn't anymore. There are two reasons for this. Women can provide for themselves now. A woman can leave the provider and still be provided for. Divorce rape as some there call it. The main idea was that men need to work on having some protector/alpha traits. Provider/beta traits alone will not cut it. A woman is less likely to remain faithful to a man wh…

I understand both have valid complaints, and invalid complaints. Incels complain about a hell of a lot more than not getting sex. Most actually complain about not getting relationships. Most suffer not even having physical human contact of any kind. The term incel was first used to talk about disabled men who have no real prospect of any relationship, or sexual contact. So when hating on incels you are often hating on disabled people.

You seem very confused. It isn't that the value of a womans life has increased. The value of a womans life has always been higher. This is something that has stuck around from traditional values. If you want equality then the value of a womans life has to decrease, or the value of men's lives need to increase. In order to judge equality you have to understand traditional values better. Most complaints by men are about traditional values that never changed with the equality movement. Things left …

Divorced men make sense. You are wrong to think any men marry for free sex and housekeeping. The system is broken and men are heavily abused by ex-wives by the system. You are just victim blaming at its worst. Not all those girls are horrible. Maybe many of them are not too bright, but they are often good people. They have nothing to do with MGTOW wives, or relationships. They are just the girls I knew who wanted no strings attached sex more often than relationships. They tend to be the ones we …

Women's standards are high, and that is only natural since women tend to be the ones who reapply make the choice. Yes, and incel groups sound just like those breakingmoms group. So what you said is that women have high standards they deserve to have met, and then lifted unrealistic depictions of men's standards that most men do not actually have. Looks are an important part of quality. By mentioning quality you mention looks. No, low self esteem people have low standards. I find attractive women are more likely to have low self esteem. Seem ugly women tend to be large and in charge. I see far more men trying to find a woman for a relationship, only for the women to run off because they do not want to be tied down. I've known many women complain that men want relationships and can't just have sex with no strings.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/20 07:07 PM

Ha, no. It is pretty equal. Those sound like the words of a bitter woman. It sounds no different than an incel stating their reasons. Women have no more legitimate reasons to complain than men do. In both cases it is their own fault for having standards that are set too high.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/20 07:04 PM

You think low quality women have low standards? I've only ever seen low quality women talk about how most men are not good enough for them. How a woman looks seems to have nothing to do with her standards. I've seen quality women with low standards.

I would say it isn't that men refuse to date women who make more. It is that more often then not women refuse to date men who make less. When women do date men who make less they come to resent them. So the analogy would be the company/woman not hiring/dating a guy because they are not qualified. It is universal, not a TRP thing. Men, and women, tend to resent others for their preferences if they are not a commonly preferred person.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/20 03:18 AM

It isn't that TRP justifies men with high n-count. They are just giving their guess as to why women justify men with high n-count. If you want to change how men behave you have to change what women find attractive. Men wouldn't be what they are today if it wasn't for what women find attractive. Obviously that works both ways to some degree, but it isn't equal. Women tend to be the choosers with our species.

Those posts come from guys in what TRP calls "the anger phase" and it seems even some long time posters there have turned back to that phase. TRP did not always discourage long term relationships. You are correct that many men do not try. That is kind of irrelevant though. If women did not try at all men would still find a higher ratio to be attractive. Men rate women by looking at the available pool of women. We judge women compared to other women. Women judge men by an ideal within their mind. When given a large sample of men to judge women judge the average compared to the image in their mind rather than on the pool of available men.

Most cheating stats are self reported, and junk. The better stats show it is closer to 50/50. Anecdotal evidence puts women cheating at far more. Everyone woman I have ever talked to has admitted to cheating in just about every relationship. Which does make me see women as higher cheaters, so I lean toward the 50/50 being the best case scenario. In our culture though we only care about male cheating. Hitting the wall is not always a definite age, but on average women seem to feel it at about 30. It is not actually about their looks fading so much as it is the point when a woman looks around and sees the eligible bachelor pool getting smaller, and the eligible bachelor's are getting nabbed up by younger girls. It is not that men suddenly find women undesirable. It is about how women are in competition to be more desirable, and how women see that competition get a lot hard at about 30 on average. Remember that most of the issues women face with sexuality and attractiveness in our culture come from women's competition with one another, …

Well... I would hate to be a woman because I do not want to fuck men, but I imagine I would feel differently about that if I was a woman. Hmm, lesbian seems good. I do not see any downsides to that. Hmm, can't depend on a guy taking care of me as a lesbian though. It's hard to say. While it seems easier to be a woman I am too use to being a man. I know we both suffer from a "grass is always greener on the other side" kind of perception, but we both also feel as if we are objectively right about …

I think that the clarification missed the point though that it isn't only men who are acting this way. It is pretty normal in our culture to attribute such behaviour to men only. Our culture likes to forget that women are not perfect.

Yeas, and it they also say that alpha is more how you behave than how you are born. AF/BB is more about how the provider role is becoming less attractive since women can earn for themselves, and or a guy is forced to provide for a woman after she leaves him. So the protector role, and just being attractive, has gained value.

I've never seen TRP use the good genes idea that specifically in a major way. Maybe some individuals over there has said it. Most are right wing and scientifically illiterate. In my own time there serious talk about it was more just about general dimorphism through sexual selection over time.

It's up to you to really understand your own anger. In the end though being angry goes against holding frame. You should always be in control of yourself. You can not control your life until you control yourself. If the anger is about feeling inadequate than self improvement is what matter. Some of the ugliest fuckers have no problem getting women. There is no one magic trait. It doesn't matter if something about you makes you statistically inadequate. Every probability is still a maybe. Others …

Yes, and my point is the article is quite specific, and does not refute the broad point of genetics playing some part in masculinity. Selection bias in mating is mostly what TRP talks about with these issues. Just that we can't suddenly deny the things that lead to that selection bias in a couple generations of new ideas.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/20 10:55 PM

TRP is better kept inside as a world view instead of openly discussed. Especially when you are new to the ideas. Many go through an anger phase. This is often when people are most vocal. It will never goes well. You will find more social success just living your life the way you want than trying to convince others. I would also caution that the quality of TRP on reddit has dropped since other incel type groups where banned on reddit and moved into TRP. They often can not leave the angry phase an…

This is just a phrase that angry women use when they can not figure out why a guy slept with a woman, and they disapprove. It is kind of like how a guy wont usually consider a woman a slut for things she does with him, but will think it if she does those things with a different guy.

Technically it makes it worse to censor such groups. It justifies their feelings. That said I have seen a lot of toxic behaviour in women's subs like 2XChromosomes. Most feminism subs sound like incel groups, and yet we do not judge them because our culture gives us a strong bias to accept hatred toward men.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/20 08:58 PM

Dating women will give you a very different experience from being a woman. The same way women get their impressions of men. I am sure that most men do not understand the way women see men because we do not date men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/20 04:03 AM

Likely equal. The grass is always greener on the other side. We each get judged for different things which makes it hard to compare. /r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 04:25 AM

A girl is not a slut for sleeping with me on the first date. She is a slut if she does that with other guys. Slut is a very subjective term, and is about a womans actions with others, not with you. Every LTR I ever had was after sex on the first date. My wife couldn't wait until the movie I made for her was finished. I had to pause it for sex.

The rich do pay taxes. People confuse rich people and big companies. Everyone pays an income tax, including the rich, and they do fund a large portion of tax revenue. The issue is more the companies. There are no socialist politicians in America. You look dumb using that term. Social programs do not make a nation socialist. Yes, and that was my point. That now we have access to seeing the most beautiful people around the world. That was my entire point. I wasn't saying that what is beautiful is subjective, which it is a mix of objective and suvjective taste. I was talking about subjective to what you see. This is universal. Both sexes complain about the actions of a small minority of the opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/20 01:23 PM

Your missing the point entirely, and your partially wrong. Sure there are some universal features of beauty, but that doesn't change that it also has subjective features. One person can call a person ugly, while the other thinks them beautiful. Also, if you look at the context of how I used the word I was talking more about how beauty standards can be subject to sample size.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/20 12:57 PM
2

There are some objective traits to beauty, but there is a subjective side to beauty. It is in no way disproved. Also, I was talking about comparatively subjective. Meaning the best of a dozen, and the best of a hundred, and the best of a thousand, etc, are different. It is like only ever seeing the people in your school as a kid, and then one day realizing there is a big world out there.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/20 12:55 PM
2

I think it's a problem on both sides. I think it is mostly related to how we see so much of our world now. Beauty is subjective and something you compare to others you have seen. Looking at both our higher population, and our ability to now to see people from all around the world, we simply see more beautiful people to compare regular people around us to. The top 1% in beauty for either sex is over 80 million people in this world. The top 1% in beauty for those in the top 1% of the world is stil…

I think that you actually highlight how it is related to how plentiful good sex is for you how much you will change for it. Not so much men or women. Men who do not get much sex change when they get sex. Women who do not get much good sex, which probably is most women, will change more than a woman who has had a lot of good sex. It is a rarity and value thing. This is why TRP talks about a mentality of plenty. If you feel that women are plentiful then you won't change for them. Not having this o…

We are complicated creatures. It is a rare thing for an action to only have one instinct, or biological urge, motivating it. This is why we get so messed up. Fear, or feelings of failure could be possible answers for those. The answer doesn't really matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/19 06:50 PM

It means power to decide how millions of dollars of students money gets spent. It means getting to decide what groups are allowed to exist on campus, and get funding and use of facilities. It means a lot to people who attend university. Hell, they even get to increase tuition to fund really stupid ideas like vegan food baskets for poor students that end up just being their food paid for by students money.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/19 01:35 PM

The pressure comes from competition among women. It is women to decide these standards, and compete to achieve them. As with any competition those who are at the top are few, and so to the rest it seems unrealistic for them to achieve what the best have achieved. They are crying about that being unfair.

Yes, one of competition. Slut shaming tends to come from women. Women dislike other women who are sluts for either competition for a guy, or because they bring down the value of giving sex in return for something by giving it away for free.

The ability to choose a good partner is part of why people stay in relationships. So you do actually agree with the conclusion, just not the reasoning that reaches the conclusion. People may have funny reasons, and that does matter. I would agree about the high N count men and women having a tendency to be high conflict. It's a more valid reason why those people are bad to form an LTR with. Now do you think there is another reason why men and women who consume a lot of porn may tend to have prob…

I think that women mostly forget that low value men exist when comparing men and women to make it out that men can be perceived as always having the upper hand. An example is claiming men have all the high earning positions when it is only a tiny fraction of people who have those positions. They hit the nail on the head. Many high earning women are quite upset, yet unable to see the way they create their own problem. Women have to quit thinking 50/50 is enough. When hey make more they should have no trouble being the one who pays. I have also heard how high earning women get upset that the high earning men they do want tend to choose women not like them. They do not seem to understand that many men do not look at the womans earning potential. Obviously not all the time, but it is a…

Nope, it reassured me that it was the right thing to do. It showed me that no matter what the vocal minority of women say, the actual majority of women still want men to be men. It made my relationship stronger. It made my career stronger. It made me the leader of my household. I think TRP is why I now have my wife and kids and own a house.

It's a reality that many of us live. You may consider it fantasy, but it is the truth. It is also what TRP is about. Just because you can not make it happen does not mean it can not happen.

It doesn't, just a select sample. The issue is older than the person who made the term popular again, and is now wrongly attributed with coining it.

I don't care what you believe. I am not trying to sway your thought. I just know you are wrong. It is a term older than the internet, although it wasn't popular until lately when it became about people who are not really involuntarily celebrate, but often just seem to refuse to date at their level. They tend to be pissed about not being able to attract women out of their league.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/19 01:29 AM

That article is incorrect. The term is much older than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 09:21 PM

When I looked into it it was coined by feminists after Vietnam for helping those who became incels through no fault of their own.

Yes, still today. It includes some more people, but it still does. Which is why it's so absurd to hate them. Who else is more involuntarily celibate than the disabled?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 03:11 AM

Incel was originally a term that mostly meant people with a disability. Sometimes vets with missing limbs and such. Think Lieutenant Dan, and Forest Gump. Both would have been traditional incels. So that would be a criteria right there.

It isn't traditionalism that has us infantilise women. It is a biological/instinctual trait that we have as a naturally social animal. So it is more common than you are giving it credit for.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/19 03:57 PM

Pretty traditional things. Ability and willingness to cook, clean, and take care of children. Those would be the main things. After that it would be nice to have a women who was not too expensive, but I accept that a woman I want likely wants me to provide for her, and to be able to get her nice things.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/19 03:40 AM

You are kind of backward on this actually. Men think women see men as alpha, or beta, because men see men as such. Women are the ones quick to label other women as madonna's or whores, and as with men it is the judgement of your competition you react to. Men do not quickly label women as whores or whatever. It tends to be an emotional reaction to rejection, or acceptance.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/19 06:36 PM

It's very hard to get women into trade jobs, and working construction. In my trade union we give all expense paid trips to the few women we have to send them out to encourage other women to join. As it is all the women in trades choose something easy like electrical work. It is hard to get women into the mechanical trades. It is often seen as too difficult, and or too dangerous.

He likely is citing the FBI data in his research. The rate has a lot to do with demographics. Like the studies showing higher rates are only looking at the cases of younger women as younger women give the majority of false accusations. The false accusation rate of rape at 2-11% actually puts it as the second most falsely accused crime, second only to property theft. Do not think that 2-11% is a low number. That is actually quite high.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/19 10:52 PM

No idea who that is. I got that from FBI data on various types of assault. Just because some other researcher comes up with similar numbers to the FBI does not mean he is the only source that gives a similar range.

The 2-10% comes from the FBI. No link on hand, but pretty easy to find.

2-10% of all allegations. The percentage is higher for young women, and lower for older women. Young women are the most likely to make a false report. This is often because they do not want to admit to their parents that they are sexually active. Part of the issue is making young girls feel that they will be perceived as bad, or get in trouble, if they are sexually active. The biggest one is turning down a person for sex. Women get so upset when they are turned down for sex. It seems to almost destroy them inside. Since they think men will mindlessly sleep with anyone they think they must be horribly ugly if a guy says no. Yet when they talk about the fragile male ego it is often specifically to make fun of men who feel down about not being attractive.

Virginity is an ideal. Wanting a woman who isn't a slut is part of that. If she had been with a few men, but never slept around, that would be almost as good. It's not so much that being a slut is itself bad. Slits can be great. It's just that it is a red flag when looking for a woman who is relationship material.

It's no different than a PUA group, but for women instead. It's not so much disgusting as it is laughable. Those women will likely end up bitter and alone when they hit the wall and no longer have anything to offer since they never built up any qualities worth wanting.

Not really. We recognize them as not exactly children. If you look at children as well we can see that we treat small children differently as well. So the change with teenagers is natural. Much of this is more of the natural development of society as technology improves, and less a social push. The only social aspect is in directing that how we change the way we develop children. If we only resist that change we will have no say in that change. Accept that there needs to be a change and we can i…

You start off semi rational, but then go too far man. Yes a 50 year old man hitting on an 18year old girl is creepy. Sure it is legal, but legality does not define right and wrong. It just defines a line set by law. Hell in my country the age of consent is 16. Would you then think a 50 year old man should hit on 16 year old girls? An age gap isn't always horrible. Men have always had basic tastes. The things is that women compete. Most of the societal pressure on women to look a certain way comes from women. Men have very little to do with the pressures women feel to look good. The only thing men do is find women attractive, and sometimes they find another woman more attractive. You show you do not have as much experience as you claim. If you did you would better understand that their angry rants shouldn't be taken too seriously. Your bolded idea of what to take away from the study is very wrong. You also never linked the study, just an article that itself links an article, that itself does not link the study. You get a lot of misinformation like this when you read what an idiot journalist had to say about the study, and then build an interpretation on top of that. If a woman is convinced to have sex then she consented. It's that simple. Your looking for something dark which is why you see it that way.

One isn't born alpha. Looks are a big part, but not everything. The point is that being a provider isn't the negative you think it is. Funny what mystical incels and feminists knew can complain a out when you take unrelated things different people said and attribute it to one type of person.

Wasn't the term originally coined by feminists to refer to men they thought needed help? The term was originally meant for disabled vets, and people who were no longer desirable through no fault of their own. Today the term seems to refer to men with no social skills who wrongly blame their appearance instead of their shit attitude.

Doesn't matter if a woman wants an abortion then. She let a guy ejaculate inside of her. She knew the consequences. If men have no rights to bodily autonomy then neither should women.

Women lie about being on birth control. Condoms break. How many times have you read those two statements and ignored them? Women poke holes in condoms. Trapping a man with a baby is a real thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/19 07:48 PM
1

Men and women can both be parents. There is nothing biological about this issue. Birth control fails. Condoms break a lot. None of that matters though. So do you think the man has a choice if birth control was used, or if the woman claimed to be using birth control?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/19 07:21 PM

Yes, and the courts always side with the women, even when the women commit fraud, and defy court orders.

Again, you are arguing against abortions being allowed outside of a medical emergency. You just can not see your hypocrisy. You keep making this about people being bad, which prevents you from really understanding the issue. Why shouldn't matter at all. The scenario doesn't matter. What matters is equal consideration of the rights of the people. Both parties should make the decision together, and no one person should be able to make the life changing decisions for both. If she doesn't want to ha…

So with condoms breaking and birth control failing, what then? Should a man have no say in his own future if he takes every precaution to not get a woman pregnant? Should some stranger from a drunken hook up have all the say in your life? Your advice, if you are being consistent, should be given to all women, not just those against abortion. If a woman spreads her legs you seem to be saying she should have to live with those consequences.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/19 04:16 PM

Of course you do. Your a sexist who can not think of these issues objectively. Your misandry is showing. As I said, this isn't about me,or my responsibility. I do not think some guy can call himself a man if he can not support his family. This isn't about me though. It is about rights and equality and abuse of power.

Either we expect to be treated equally despite our biological differences, or we do not. We can't just pick and choose to only get the benefits, but not the responsibilities. /r/PurplePillDebate18/10/19 03:36 PM

Again, I am not trying to take abortion off the table. You are the one giving the arguments against allowing abortions. What I do not care for is financial rape. We see way too many forms of it in our society. If women are equal and can provide for themselves then they no longer have a right to a man's income. Yes the parents should be responsible for the child. The problem is only women have the right to decide after conception if they will be a parent. They should both get to make that decisio…

Yes, that is silly, and not something I am saying. I am telling you that you are inadvertently arguing against abortions with your arguments against men having any reproductive rights at all. Reproductive rights are a good thing for society. It would be better if everyone had those rights.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/19 02:22 PM

I wouldn't want abortion to be taken off the table. My point is that you are being hypocritical. Being uncomfortable does not matter at all. So if nature is not fair then get back in the kitchen, and you have no right to vote.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/19 02:12 PM

Your arguments against men's reproductive rights are exactly what pro-lifers say to women a out abortions. Everything you are saying is an argument against a womans right to an abortion.

This is an argument about right. Not a personal complaint of mine. I would personally hit a woman if she aborted my baby. I am actually married with three kids, and almost forty. This is not a personal issue. I think having children is the meaning of life itself. Birth control fails, although is rather reliable. Condoms are not reliable, and in my experience they break a lot. So when birth control fails, or when a woman lies about birth control, what then? We shouldn't really have to look for th…

Sure, biology. Women get pregnant... suck it up princess. It doesn't matter if women carry the baby. That does not mean she should be the only one who gets any say in her and his future. The man should have some say in his own life. The man should have the right to day no. He should not have his life decided for him by a woman because a condom broke.

I am not saying the man should decide if she aborts. I am saying he should be allowed to decide if he wants to be a part of the situation. If he wants to be a parent. I've seen a lot of people co fuse this situation as if it means the man could make her abort. I keep saying abortion is a separate issue. Condoms break quite often, and I find their reliability to be about 60%, maybe 70%. They break quite easily. What I am saying is that a woman shouldn't be able to decide the future of a man becau…

It's funny how you use the same arguments against men having reproductive rights that "pro choice" people use against women having abortions. If you just talk biology then why do women want equality then? It perfectly follows that if you decide to be a parent when you have sex then women have no right to an abortion since they decided to have sex. The real issue is that when a woman becomes pregnant she gets to decide what happens with her body, and his. She makes his life decisions for him. He has no say in his future. That is wrong, and should not be acceptable. The woman has 3 months to decide, the man should have some time to deci…

Abortions have nothing to do with this at all. Abortions are a separate topic. This is about men being able to say that they do not want to be fathers. It is then up to the woman to decide if she wants an abortion. Also men should have a shorter window of time to decide as it may impact the womans decision, and she only has the three months to decide. A man shouldn't be forced to be with a woman he doesn't want to be with, or pay child support because a condom broke.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/19 05:13 PM
1

So women can only have an abortion if they are raped is what you are saying. That is a very backward way of looking at the issue. If a woman decided to get an abortion in the first trimester there is no reason anyone else should tell her she can not. The actual issue is that men have no choice after conception. The woman decided for him. The woman has authority over the man's bodily autonomy. This is wrong. The man should have a shorter grace period than the woman to make his own decision. Say o…

There are some women out there who are tough enough. Obviously not many. They are the end of the bell curve. No reason they shouldn't get the jobs if they want them. You need to look this stuff up so you do not look dumb. Early feminists faught for the right to be default caregivers to children. It was originally the men fathers as they were the only ones who could work back then. No one said that a woman's right to choose should be modified. Just that men should be given some consideration when it comes to reproductive rights. Why should women be allowed to legally entrap a man, and his financial support? The point is that women currently get to decide for …

Military and firefighters are the two easy ones to point at. Most construction jobs as well, but in my experience e most women in grades become electricians anyway. That said I have seen women take the work that often went to the older guys before they retire, and as their bodies were getting beaten up. Sucks for them to not have that easy work to fall back on.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 06:56 PM

Yes, not the same rights, but men need some form of reproductive rights. That said there are many rights issues where women fought for rights despite a biological difference between men and women. As you say, women are the weaker sex. Yet women want equal access to jobs that require strength. That is fine if the women and men both have the same expectations, but wrong when women are given the job without having to have the same physical requirements.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 06:28 PM

It is actually easier for a woman to abandon her family than a man as the law cares much less about enforcing responsibilities on women than they do men. Men are looked for and made to pay. Women just leave with no consequences. What would be best is for there to be some reproductive rights afforded to men. Maybe allowing the man to decide if he wants to be a father, or not, within the first month, or two, of pregnancy. Obviously the man's window to choose should be smaller as it likely affects …

Sorry, but no. Medical science has dramatically reduced ed the risk to women when pregnant. Sure there are times when abortions happen for medical reasons, but the majority are not done for medical reasons. General risk is not a medical reason. All of that is beside the point anyway. The real issue is that men deserve some form of reproductive rights. The system is too easily used to abuse men.

Ah, default care giver status, the other privilege women get, and did fight to get. I am a married man, also in a middle class socioeconomic group. What I see is women not allowing men to get their court ordered visitation/partial custody, and the courts not even trying to defend the rights of the fathers to see their children. So the reason men shouldn't have reproductive rights are the same reasons people didn't want women to have reproductive rights in the first place? That is okay though because we are applying it to men now? Guilty until proven innocent is a horrible model to follow. Do not just assume no men would want to raise their children. As it is many men are fighting for the right to even see the children they work to support. It is a major cause of the men's suicide epidemic no one cares about.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 03:35 PM

So you have completely missed the point. Let me spell it out for you then. The religious right are a problem. Yes they try to strip away women's reproductive rights. Yes reproductive rights are important. No here is the issue. Men have no reproductive rights. No the reproductive rights of men and women shouldn't be exactly equal as we have different biological roles. Men should have some reproductive rights though.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 03:33 PM
5

The woman also plans for the man to nut in her when she decides to have sex without protection. Also, condoms break quite often. Birth control fails sometimes. Shit happens. Are you saying women shouldn't have reproductive rights?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 02:43 PM

It is a womans health issue mostly because it is a medical procedure for women. Not because abortions are only done for medical reasons. Its seems the time for legal documents matters more than biology in your scenario. Which is why it should just be a right, and the legalities can easily be made a short one day issue. This is not about winning, or losing. It is about equal rights. If it hurts families for men to have this right then it hurts families for women to have this right. If men do not deserve reproductive rights then neither do women.

Are you intentionally missing the point? Women have reproductive rights. Men have no reproductive rights. There is massive hypocrisy on this subject as most men are fed the same lines women were before they could have abortions.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/19 01:24 PM
6

It is still hypocrisy, and no most abortions are not about the woman's potential for death. Some abortions are for medical reasons, but most are because the woman does not feel ready to have a child yet. The majority of abortions are optional, and about not wanting to be a parent. Sometimes it is because he birth control failed. I know condoms rip rather easily.

No, biology makes no difference here. Who gets pregnant may matter to the one getting pregnant, and may deserve some special consideration, but in reality does not matter. Incel, male feminist femcel, either way you are having the over dramatic emotional reaction to the study, and you seem to not understand what the study even claimed. Studies like these have been done before. These things do help provide large sample sizes though. It gives better statistical data than previous studies with far smaller sample sizes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/19 07:14 PM

Your interpretation of the study is greatly flawed by your strong feelings over it. You likely never looked at it if you think women simply picked the beat one. It obviously looked at the choices of the men and women. It has nothing to do with choosing pictures. I think you never even attempted to look at any of these studies. Women's pickiness was the entire point and conclusion of the study. It just showed that there is a difference between the way they perceive the average from what the actual average was. It was not a study claiming that women only want the top, and men will take anything. It was just a study showing that men tend to rate women's attractiveness distribution more accurately than women rate men. It's a fact that to succeed in such an environment means being less feminine, or at least finding a balance with being strong, and feminine. This will naturally conflict with being purely feminine, and therefore conflict with attractiveness. Some women find that balance, some don't care. I've seen enough women on construction sites. Several studies looking at the same issue come to similar conclusions. A trivial conclusion we expect. Women tend to be the choosers, and so tend to favour to one end. I am not claiming that you made the claim. You attacked the argument which was against the claim, so I explained how the argument was used against the claim. The thread is making an absurd claim about MGTOW'S. So showing that the actions being spoken about to support the OP's claim are equally true of a group most understand as not being a hate group.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/19 06:45 PM
6

You just lumped different groups as the same group. You couldn't be more wrong in your argument. MGTOW'S do not go around murdering women. In order for a group to be a hate group they have to perform acts of hate as a group. Individuals feminists and individual MGTOW'S have gone around attacking the others, but those are extreme individuals who belong to the groups, not actions of the groups.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/19 06:43 PM
7

If toy accept the other group is not a hate group, then showing the groups are equivalent is a legitimate argument. A type of reduction ad absurdum where if we accept that these things make the MGTOW's a hate group then we have to accept that these anti hate groups are hate groups. Trying to bring out the qualities that actually point to something being a hate group and distinguishing the difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/19 06:25 PM

You gave examples of groups with strong bias by all members as examples of why this type is a similar biased sample, and that sample size doesn't matter. What I explained was hat even with bias, when you have a very large sample size you can go through the data and eliminate statistical anomalies and tease out the bias to get at the more accurate data. So yes, sample size does matter. Sure, yes, the studies find that women bias toward the top end of the spectrum. This is a water is wet kind of c…

No, you helped highlight my point actually. Neo Nazis actually commit acts of violence based on hatred. They do this is an organized way. They sanction violence publically, as a group. While there are violent feminists, and violent MGTOW's that do exist, the groups do not sanction violence. They do not participate in violence based on hatred.

Would we say the same about feminists? I have seen very similar hate comments on feminist groups. I've seen similar hateful stuff at feminist groups in person. I think the worst say seeing feminists congratulating each other because a few had gone to a rally where some men at a different university dared suggest men need a safe space, so they assaulted those men. They showed scrapes and bruises like proud battle scars. A group needs to do more than have mean comments to be considered a hate grou…

Different, sure. That doesn't matter though. Here is an example. Let men and women both try out for something, say being a firefighter. Give them both the same expectation, aka treat them as equals. This doesn't mean an equal amount of men and women will meet the qualifications. This is what I mean by equal. Equal opportunity. That foes not mean I am saying they will have an equal outcome.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 05:29 PM
1

Yes, it is. In the context of the idea that men and women are equal it was irrelevant though. TRP is a sexual strategy subreddit, and we say over there that women should be treated as equals as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 05:24 PM
1

Personal worth and sexual strategy are completely unrelated to the subject.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 05:11 PM
1

Sure you can make that statement. It is beside the point though. Men and women are still equal. You do remember me saying that different attributes doesn't matter don't you? Hell, I've seen it said enough times over at TRP. Treat women like people. It does piss them off quite often.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 04:22 PM
3

Just trying to correct your viewpoint. People often do not understand the difference between groups and individuals when making statements.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 04:14 PM
3

Sure, characteristics can be attributed. Doesn't change the fact that the groups are considered equals. Groups being equals does not mean they share all the same characteristics. This isn't math class.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 04:07 PM
3

Hardly useless. We are all people, and we should have equal expectations for all people. Groups should be seen equally. Individuals should be taken as they are. Saying the groups are equal does not imply every individual is equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 03:39 PM
4

You must know what equal means. Your examples do not help you. You can be equals while having different abilities. I am not saying we have equal group averages. Just that men and women are both people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 03:22 PM

TRP is not about not seeing anyone as equals. It is very much about accepting that we are all equals. Just because some incels post absurd stuff in TRP doesn't change this.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 02:29 PM
11

Yes, even most TRP men think equality is fine. The issue is when people want equality in an unequal way. Wanting all the benefits and none of the responsibilities.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 02:28 PM

Well, one of the first rules of being an TRP man is to not talk about it as it only makes you a target. It is not manipulation, or deception. Strange that toy went straight to such extreme assumptions.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/19 02:27 PM
2

I fond TRP changed over time. As Incel groups were banned in reddit many moved into TRP. They kind of took things to the extreme. Early on with TRP they would tell you that nothing is absolute, and that even AWALT should be understood as not universal, just hyperbole. For the most part it is still a good group, but there are a lot of fools lately.

You want me to quote you saying she doesn't want skinny, or older men? Everyone should have standards, as she does. You asked why people post things like that, and I gave you an answer.

Beggars can't be choosers. IRS probably posted to get a laugh about how they are choosy despite having very little to offer. People do sometimes get a kick out of how women can demand men fit certain criteria, but get very upset if men ask that women meet any criteria at all. It definitely is a bit petty.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/19 04:18 PM
2

Don't fully fall for any ideology. Pick what works for you. It is always great to listen to good advice, but you have to modify it to fit you. Hell I remember being taught that at TRP. The guys who go all try hard with it tend to not get the point too often.

Nope, I found TRP while in university before I met my wife. I met her in a feminist group I regularly hung out with. I find the more toxic people from TRP were themselves only in that community because the incel and MGTOW communities were shut down. Many of them are dark too idealistic, and often ignore the most important parts of TRP which are about taking care of ones health, and ones mind. Absolutely nothing. That said why assume all RP men are the same? Many of us RP men are happily married and use the RP advice to keep our relationships healthy. Edit: as for your confusion about RP ideas most RP men realise ideals are not common. These are guidelines. Like virtues they are goals, not minimum expectations. I would say the main tenets are mostly about keeping calm if the face of trouble, or angry people/partner. High n-count women are less likely to stick around in a relationship,…

Sounds like the right definition. People get confused when you show that some people act entitled, when they do not believe that is entitled behaviour. I think people do mingle the term with demanding though. When one is demanding it also implies they are entitled since they think they have a right to all the things they ask for. It is pretty common to see people demand that anyone they consider have, a great job, a car, etc. Some think these should be a minimum, and it might seem demanding to s…

Sure, but this isn't a perfectly biased sample. It is an imperfect sample, sure, but it's a good enough sample for sure. Just because some people take the conclusions to a far end stating things the study did not conclude does not mean the study itself showed nothing. Really your arguing a strawman because you are arguing against ideas people had on the study rather than the validity of the study.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/19 03:29 AM

Sample size always matter. Even when there is bias a large sample size does help you adjust for such factors. While I dislike the idea of calling them social sciences I prefer they be called social studies. There is zero problem with a person having criteria for a mate. We are all free to limit our choices as much as we want. How realistic our expectation are can only hurt or help us in the end. If any man or woman has unrealistic expectations then do not complain when you end up alone. That said if you have things you wont accept, and find a person who matches that, then good for you.

I never said it means that 80% are unattractive. It does show that women do not see the average guy as average though. They do slide to the pickier end. The average guy in terms of objective mathematical average, and the female subjective opinion on average do not match is all this means. We really do expect this though, and it is old news. Dating sites are actually the best sources of data. Studies tend to look across several dating sites. Dating sites are not their only sources of data, but they do provide large sample sizes and make good control groups. This doesn't mean those 80% of men have no relationships. This is just studies where women are asked to rate men. It has shown that men seem to rate women in an honest average, where as women seem to discount a majority of men. A place should be able to host what it wants. That is not really the issue though. Places like Reddit are not for one specific conversation. Reddit is not deciding so much as pressure from the outside is forcing them to censor as the outside pressure dictates. There is no hate speech on TRP. Also yes, I think we should demand free speech on many platforms. It's a bad idea to consider free speech to be limited to only the government. We need to demand it from each other, or else we will never care when it gets restricted.

I spent a long time looking stuff up when I did belive it was an inside job. If you dig you start seeing holes. Then you start seeing the facts they don't tell. It's not just the towers. They cherry pick info from the Pentagon crash, and flight flight 93. They are a very dishonest movement.

Building 7 is easily understood. It had a huge chuck of one of the towers tear it open. The Truth movement ignore the first ten seconds of the collapse of Building 7. They only look at the one angle it looked like a simple collapse. The thermite was used during the demolition after the event. That and oxygen acetylene and such. This is also why people saw molten metal.

Building 7 was known to be in danger of collapse. They likely heard that it looked about to collapse with that it had collapsed. If they even did report it before hand. CNN is not great, but they are the best of the big American three. FOX and MSNBC are the real trash. Many hate the name, but Aljezira is pretty good, as is BBC world. CBC is a good Canadian source.

Is the father in the picture, providing support? You only really need to be an example of a responsible adult. Especially if their father is in their lives. Do not try to replace him. If he is not involved not much changes except that you will become a more main example of an adult male. By their age though there is less concern. If it was a couple vabies/toddlers then you might take more of a father figure role.

I went and watched her videos. The one in class was her masterbating under her desk. You could hear the class, bit not see it. She had another in a staff room were she was almost caught by someone walking in.

It is fine. I have had three kids and that is normal. At first it is all a out mom. She basically provides life to it. They build the bond with dad a little slower. You end up beig a big deal around toddler age though. I found that since they tend to see me only after work, its a big deal when I get home. By that age they see mom all day and are bored of her telling them not to do things.

It was not much of an attack. More a criticism from a fellow far right person. Which made Ben asking the guy to admit he was lert wing so absurd. The interviewer is quite right wing, and Ben perceived a stronger attack than there really was.

I'll have to see some more of Ben's stuff. He shuts down SJW's really well, and can argue specific topics well. I never got the impression he had that much outside that narrow field though.

I think it was his anti-abortion argument that Crowder failed at most. It's hard to say though, he isn't always as good as he seems to think. I would have to bother looking at his stuff again to pick out an example, and it isn't worth it. As for Ben, he embarrassed himself in that interview. Even some of his fans are able to admit that. He was foolishly getting upset that the interviewer wasn't answering questions, as if he doesn't know how interviews work. He was also barely saying "cause scien…

Sometimes he can be pretty good. Yeah, that one was pretty bad though. I had seen ones he didn't do too well in, but that was his worst. Although he is not exactly right wing, I think Jorden Peterson does a lot better job in debates and interviews. We probably all loved that "gotcha" moment with Cathy Newman.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/05/19 10:35 PM

I actually liked seeing Ben wreck SJW arguments. That is low hanging fruit though. I have specifically said he does well when arguing against them. Ben is not nearly as analytical as he thinks, or at least fails when he steps outside of law discussion.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/05/19 09:19 PM

Crowder specifically often makes weak arguments. Shapiro recently embarrassed himself on the BBC. Crowder makes some good points sometimes, but often his conclusions are without merit.

Just the other day in a BBC interview where Ben embarrassed himself he was just blurting the words science without pointing to anything. I only mentioned my major so as to say I know he often talks out of his ass. To be specific I majored in physics before changing to computer science. For the sake of conversations it's often easier to say general science. Ben can sometimes make a good case. He is kind of full of himself though and often let's logic fly out the window. As with most people they a…

One must have analytical skills to be able to evaluate analytical skills. Ben just blurts he word science without any giving any scientific statements. I majored in science. I know he is mostly a hack. He has some good moments, but often fails badly with his arguments.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/05/19 07:14 PM

Yes, and there are the odd times he makes sense. Especially against the worst SJW's. He is mostly just full of himself though. Reminds me of Louder with Crowder. A genius in their own minds, but very little behind their arguments.

Text communication does leave one imagining tone of voice. That said I just don't see that as playful. Seems like attitude, but then again, it's a text communication. Maybe it was white knightish, but I always say that as preMGTOW/incel. Then again not always. Yes I have internet dated. Was not the best way to find women though. Mostly just for a random hookup, which it seemed all the girls there wanted as well.
/r/PussyPassDenied08/05/19 12:05 PM

You sound like the MGTOW incel type buddy. I am not going to pretend I am some player, but I have no troubles socially. Hell I am married. The guys who wouldn't tolerate her response are the kind with self respect. Some people do act entitled. Some men, some women, this woman sounds like a cunt. It was not playful, and if it was hen it was socially awkward playful.

I, a guy, wont normally posta here at let the girls figure stuff out, but you need to do some serious changes if you want a real relationship. Incels are pretty misunderstood. Most of them are disabled people. Many are war vets. People disfigured, and so rejected by the opposite sex. People pretend they are mostly the socially awkward losers who make their own problems. In reality they are a class that should be pitied, and not hated.

Sorry to comment on the ladies thread, but after having three children in our thirties I will say that you should convince your husband how much easier it is to have children in your twenties when you still have the energy for it. Of course it is hard. Of course it costs a lot, but it is better to start now han later. Also yes daycare costs a lot. That is why I am happy that my wife stays home with the kids. Better than paying some stranger to watch them.
/r/RedPillWomen05/12/18 01:13 PM
1

I know some here disagree with it. I have one response to this though. Have kids. Cellular life only began as a way to help DNA continue to propagate. Technically having children is the meaning of life for sexually reproducing organisms. One last note as it was said by a founder of TRP. (Not to imply people here dont like immigration.) If you dont want immigrants then get a girl pregnant. Not replacing our population is bad for our society.
/r/TheRedPill20/11/18 01:17 PM

Frame is the most important lesson I took away from TRP. Probably has done me the most good. I think the second most important naturally comes from the first. That is not failing shit tests. Failing those tests will always make her think less of you.
/r/TheRedPill31/10/18 02:39 PM

Yeah I am glad I read TRP before getting into my relationship. Whenever she flip[s her shit I tell her she can go back to her parents. I once asked her what she would feel if I was like her guy friends and bowed to her whim. She said she would lose all respect for me. We both laugh about her guy friends now. I also got her to read "The Surrendered Wife" from TRPWomen. Now she commonly laughs about her beta orbiters. Hear some bad cringe stories about them.

It is possible to be friends with a woman. Just don't do favours for her like you are trying to get her to like you. It causes a psychological trick that makes you have more feelings for her. Your brain convinces itself you have romantic feelings to justify why you do so much for them.

I do often laugh at the stuff here obviously written by an angry young guy. I've always seen this as a place to remind me of how to keep my marriage healthy. TRP advice may be about getting laid for some, but it is about having the power to make my life fulfilling for me. Life means different things to different people. I don't usually comment when I don't agree, but this really is not as well thought out as you think. I personally see all men without children as failed men. If you don't reproduce it is most likely because no woman saw you as valuable enough to reproduce with. Any attempt to logic your way out of it comes off as rather incel. Reproduction, your genetic line, and maintaining the population, are all more important than you realise. You hand wave those away far too easily.

Ah, a breath of fresh air. I had started thinking I was going to have to take TRP lessons, but leave the community as it is too conservative. I remember someone started a group called TheRedhillRight and thought it was either a step in the wrong direction, or a way to get all the conservatives to go talk that stuff over there. Not to take away from the idea that most things in life are intertwined with sexual strategy, but I think the reason that most curse words are sexual in nature is a cultural thing. In some languages from other cultures it is blasphemous words that are often curse words, where as in our culture it is sexual words. I think it is tied to what the culture in question has an obsession with seeing in a negative way.

Long read. I got through quite a bit of it. I didn't see any praise for the killer. Kept looking for it. If anything the writer pointed out when it became apparent she was just acting innocent. It seems like a long story about people having horrible things happening to them, and then doing horrible things themselves.

That is a whole different issue. That is because of the war on drugs. What she got is normal punishment. What people get for drug charges are only continuing to help support a private prison industry.

"The individuals suffered bruises, said Clay County Attorney Brian Melton. As part of a plea agreement, Klevgaard was sentenced to 365 days with 320 days stayed. ...After serving the remainder of her sentence, Klevgaard may be on supervised probation for up to six years. In addition to the jail time, she was ordered to pay $475 in fines and fees." So she was properly punished. No pass. Not sure why this is even up here.

I am not saying it is detrimental to your body. It is just that the entire purpose of all organisms is to continue the genetic line. So it is the essential meaning of life. People are free of course to find their own existential meaning of life. Create your own purpose. The difference is that an essential purpose is one that exists as a product of you existing. Existential purpose is one you make up for yourself. We can have both. So breeding really is the actual meaning of life. As conscious th…

Whatever, that is a completely irrelevant issue. Your purpose as a sexually reprodusing creature is to sexually reproduce. If you fail to do that then you failed as an organism. It is a failing of your essentail meaning. It is not saying that you failed at some existential meaning or purpose. Go find your own goals in life. It could be argued that it assists my offspring to tell others not to have any when overpopulation may be a concern.

It doesn't matter what his arrest record is or what he does. If he was trying to stop her, as seems to be the case, she is still responsible for her own actions. That is no different than telling an abused woman that it's her fault for being with her abuser and that she isn't a good person either. Edit: I see now you had just read the wrong arrest record. There was a video? I read the story and it made it sound as if the taking of the sign wasn't until after she had separated from the group of protesters. /r/PussyPass21/10/15 01:05 AM

I am not upset by people's right to protest. You do not protest against individuals though. The girl had the right to protest and that is fine. She stopped protesting though and left the protesters behind in order to follow one woman. So in stopping her protest in order to follow and harass one person she became a cunt who deserved what happened to her.

I once did something like this. I often showed up to the feminist groups meetings. The girls there liked to hang out with me despite my laughing off their ideas. At one meeting I had a lesbian feminist angrily going at me with her ideas which I calmly questioned and pointed out flaws in. She had a friend who quietly listened to us both. Well to make a long story short her friend left with me and this seemed to annoy the lesbian.

Most intelligent in our opinion. Best tool using for sure. Probably best at communicating as well. Best for recording and adding to our knowledge, but we still have not defined intelligence enough to say a lot about it. Generally we can assume we are smarter though. Yes, I started off saying it was more complicated. Now you are probably doing some Googling and trying to save your self. The fact is we have very little understanding of how it works, and you are speaking with too much certainty. So yes, my original point remains simply what it was. size != intelligence.

No it does not. That is a misconception. There is no relationship between size and intelligence beyond having enough brain cells to have different parts of the brain. There are people who have had large pieces of their brain removed, and are still intelligent.

No shit he should leave her, but that is not the point. It is the way you say he is not a victim, and that it is his fault for marrying her. First off, he didn't know when he married her. So marrying her doesn't make it his fault. Second the person only said that he was acting the way abused people act, and so it could be argued that he is a victim of abuse. I wouldn't call that a backfire. I would call that "working as intended."

We have to be careful about turning on one another here as well. I posted a comment on a YouTube video of an MRA and just because I said being in a relationship does not give a person the right to commit a crime against you, he flipped out and banned me thinking I was a feminist. We should be careful to discredit the guys who make those of us who actually care about equality from looking bad.

This post seemed so ignorant I had to wonder if a person was making it up. It does seem there are MRA's who just want to be hateful, and it makes it harder for those actually caring about equality.
