Goes for schools in general. In High School, some fights would end with the so-called bully under arrest facing a serious prison term, even tried as an adult... But the principal refuses to call the police or have charges filed, and guess who's back in the halls after a week suspension (if that?)

No. Just a realist. Life sentences should be for people who commit heinous crimes that take the life away from someone else. And by "take the life away" I mean literally. murder. Yes in a perfect world, pedos would get attacked by lynch mobs on their first day out of prison. But the justice system should not be used to enact vigilante justice. I'm just here via /r/random... but I've dealt with insane roomates in the past (yeah, not the same thing... but still) Get a storage locker TODAY. Take a day off from work tomorrow, and move everything that you can't replace or can't afford to lose. As for "your" car? Not sure, but start finding a co-worker to carpool into work with if needed. Worst case, you'll need to find a cheap place to live on a credit card for a few weeks until you move out on the 7th.
