Hahaha, that's true, not all the time! We could still be swimming in LV schlongs if we wanted, which is why EVERY woman, no matter what size, age, color, or circumstances need to vet, vet, vet. And thank you! ❤

THIS THIS ALL OF THIS. 👆👆👆 OP, I'm a plus size girl too and in the last few years, I've come to be grateful for it. It keeps SO MANY scrotes away, and HVM won't care, bc they see you as a person worthy of respect first, not a potential sex object. Thus, my body has been one of my greatest asset to weed out the bad ones. EVEN IF some HVM won't find you attractive, they will express this in a gentle, respectful manner. BUT I'm willing to bet more of them than you think will love your body, especia…

Can confirm. It's never really the TIME that's the problem, anyway. We all have the time. It's the mental energy. When you're really interested, the energy comes easy, and thus, you respond promptly. I know because I've notoriously been the one to not text back bc I lost interest. That has NEVER happened with my current bf, bc the interest and thus, the energy, is there.

THANK YOU!! I don't know what over-privileged cool aid OP has drunk to think WE have it worse than our Asian, middle-eastern, South American and African sisters, but this needed to be said. I mean... does Afghanistan ring a bell?

This is hilarious to me bc dogs smell waaaaay worse than cats and don't take care of their own hygiene, unlike cats. The thing about cats getting their own excrements all over their paws simply isn't true. No adult, healthy and fully functioning cat would EVER allow their paws to be dirty. Also, the smell is only a problem if you pick the cheapest, grossest cat sand at the store. Most of the good brands absorb the smell nowadays. Everybody's entitled to their own opinion, of course, and I love b…

I am SO down for a rescue mission!! As a plus size girl myself, but one in a wonderful relationship with a HVM, I especially feel for this poor girl. She needs us!

Look how well they have learnt to use feminist language to their own (misogynist) gain. "His body, his choice". He has "the right to feel the way he do" and he is feeling "offended". It never fails to astound me how good they are at twisting things to benefit them.

Yeah, I was actually wondering about that. Me and my man have sex 3-4 times a week and reading her post I started to wonder if that was a bad sign... should have remembered pickmes already have a skewered view of what's normal 😅

You're losing respect for her. Same thing happened to me and my best friend of ten years, and was the nail in the coffin of me breaking contact with her.

I had a guy like this too, who slept with a girl days before her wedding. Same guy also told me early on into our "situationship" that he had a long distance GF in another country that he had never met face-to-face. Needless to say, I thought "maybe if we keep hanging out as friends, he'll fall in love with me instead and dump her🤡". That didn't happen. What did happen was him stringing me along for several months, ending with us getting drunk and having sex (during which he whined abt having to…

No, I don't think that's it, for a number of reasons. And anyway, I'm not focused on her right now, but him. I'm worried she's not getting the affection she needs from him, and she's too in love to realize it. She asked me today what I think of him, and I didn't know whether to tell her what I'd observed... Like I said, there were a lot of green flags as well, but... I don't think she should have to settle for someone that's too stiff to touch her in public. Or maybe I'm just too used to being c…

Saw my bff and her boyfriend for the first time in over six months (they live in another country)... I observed a lot of green flags too, but I just can't shake this one thing... She was constantly initiating physical contact with him; holding hands... stroking his back and arms... arm around his shoulders or midriff... and he didn't once initiate physical contact with her.

I get your point, but why shift the shoe box onto a buyer that's obviously got money to spend? That's like trying to sell a broken down Fiat to a customer who came in looking for a Lexus, simply bc you have a hard time getting rid of the Fiat and you know everybody will be drooling over the Lexus. No matter how we look at it, the realtor is really self-sabotaging due to her internalized misogyny.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/06/21 11:58 AM

Except that doesn't make sense either, bc the realtor would be losing out on a lot of money. If their cut is based in the selling price, like here in Sweden, then the realtor would litterally lose out on 1/3 of her own cut by selling OP that shoebox-house.

As a journalist, I feel I need to apologize for her gross spelling and grammar. Also her complete misconduct by misleading sources and lying, of course. But mostly her spelling and grammar.

God yes. One guy I was vetting WOULD NOT shut up about this. I literally wear mascara and brow liner and NOTHING ELSE, and he still went on and on about "wanting to see me without makeup". Especially at night, before bed............... 😒😑😒😑😒😑

No flowers for me, bc bf is very alergic. However, he did surprise me with home made hot chocolate, made by melting my favorite type of chocolate, mixing it with fresh pressed orange juice, and spiking it with my favorite liquor (topped with whipped cream). It was so delicious, he's ruined me for any other type of hot chocolate. Also, he made it the night before Valentine's, bc we had plans to go see my parents on Valentine's itself (we've both got anti-bodies). It really doesn't have to be trad…

Yeah... I tried this with my childhood best friend, and it only delayed the inevitable, tbh. The difference is I didn't get a clean cut like OP got here. I got a very slow, very sad, sputtering end w/o any actual closure. Truth is, you should treat friends like this the way FDS instructs us to treat our dates. First strike and they're out. 🤷‍♀️

I'm so sorry. I experienced something similar with my childhood best friend a few years ago. Friends since first grade, she was a pickme, and of course she managed to find the king of LVMs, that treated her like shit, no job, gamer addiction, and of course he hated me (but still hit on me once, when she wasn't there). At first I tried to talk sense into her, but by the time they got engaged (not to be married, bc my friend never wants to get married) I pretty much threw my hands in the air and g…

Xlash. I CANNOT stress this enough. If you want longer lashes, Xlash is the way to go. On their website, they boast visible change within a month. I didn't believe it at first, but it undeniably works and is SUPER easy to use. Combined with a lash and brow lift every third month or so, I barely have to use makeup anymore.

Excellent list! I'd probably make one of my own that's identical, if I hadn't already found a guy that ticks all of these boxes (so far. As we all know, the vetting continues!) I particularly love the reminder to not sell yourself short. Trust me, the man is out there, and the harder you vet, the quicker you'll find him.

Totally agree. This was my first christmas with my bf (we live in Sweden and celebrate on the 24th) and I was a little tense to see what he came up with. We're both students and his economy is significantly worse than mine. Also, he's been talking about for weeks how he's bad at giving gifts, how he doesn't usually buy presents for his family "unless he's come up w something perfect" etc. I am well aware these could all be considered red flags, but I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.…

I can't help but think back a few years, to a time when I thought there was something wrong with me bc I couldn't enjoy sex. I couldn't relax, it made me feel gross, and gave me anxiety. And the few times I confided in women my own age, their only advice was "You need to do it more! Sleep around! Get used to it!" Thank god I never took that advice. Turns out what I couldn't enjoy was semi-forced sex on the third date (bc that's when you're supposed to do it, RIGHT??) with guys I wasn't even sure…

I didn't quite feel the spark with my BF on the first date. I knew I wanted to see him again, but overall, I wasn't sure if I was attracted to him or just thought he was a nice person. The spark didn't start to set in until a few weeks later, but hoooo mama, did it SET IN.

A short poem, on why this is bullshit: "I am it. I. Am. It. Not the girl passning by in the street. Or at the party. At the store. Or in the office. I am it. If I am not it Then HE is not the one. And if he is not the one Then we are done."

Can confirm. My boyfriend LOVES both cats and dogs. His childhood kitty is lockscreen on his phone, and one way he courted me was by sending me a "daily cat meme" to cheer me. He is indeed adorable, and very decent (Of course, the vetting continues).

I know a father of five who gushes about his wife on Instagram every other month or so. Calls her a goddess, talks about how lucky he is to have her, etc. Last year, he nearly left his family for a classmate and close friend of his wife's. His wife was pregnant with their fifth child at the time. NEVER. EVER. believe ANYTHING you see on social media.
