Ah yes the tactic of ignore nuance and sit comfortable in the zone of thought where minimal use of the brain is required. That's exactly what I mean by lack imagination. I was never in favor of the phrase but I support what it represents. To get caught up on the phrase without thinking about what it means to the people who use it is some preschool level shit. Who's the one refusing to engage when things "don't fit the narrative?"

Don't strawman. I will happily chant ACAB and BLM but I won't exactly defend her. And I won't say she deserved to die either. ACAB is about the system. 1) I don't fault this officer for shooting. She clearly had a deadly weapon and was willing to use it and did. He feared for his life and shot. 2) Having legal guns and armed police is the system we chose. 3) This system is not working on a larger scale for black people because police shoot innocent black people at a higher rate. My mind tells me this is how it works, but I still find it so hard to believe it. I'm probably reading too many romance novels. It's hard to believe that confidence is a suitable substitute for looks when it comes to getting the girly parts all steamy. I wonder, do girls who date average guys get steamy for them? It would be a massive hit to the ego to know that your own gf doesn't really get tingly.

I'm very argumentative when it's something that can be reasoned about or there is a clear answer. I will stand up for my beliefs. But if you're talking to someone who won't listen to reason, or, like in this case, discussing something that clearly does not have a correct answer (I think a fair is a waste of money, too) and rather is a matter of opinion, you are just looking confrontational and controlling. I'm not a girl, but even to me, if I was a girl, all I would read there is that you wouldn…

I'd love for a girl to make the first move. Unfortunately I don't think that would change much in my life since I'm either distinctly average or below average in looks. I think for girls to pull this off and get someone who, in your words, is "way out of your league" is more likely, because it's unusual and guys will be interested. Also, not to knock your successes but guys are less picky than girls (in my opinion). If I tried this on a girl that was way out of my league, I'd only be doing what …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
