This whole thing is so fake. It's something that could happen but everything is off in the storytelling.

You have you own abilities, skillset and particularities (earnings, beauty, charisma, eloquence, artistic abilities, intellectual abilities, sense of humour...). Your value for somebody depends of what I just said, but everyone is applying their own coefficient to judge you. For example, if you have a good friend gamer whom you play LOL with, your beauty won't matter a lot for your value to him, but your LOL knowledge will definitely have a huge impact. On the contrary, for a random girl your LO…

It's as if you were saying that a computer is faster to do calculus than you, only if you are an idiot (spoiler alert: it's not). A autonous car would be able to process an image and to start react before you even realize what's going on. Also you are 100% an idiot if you think that you can compete with algorithm that are really on point. Even if you do every thing fine, a mature autonomous car will do it better.

What are you even talking about? When the automated car will be totally on point in 20-30 years they will be faster and safer than human. Putting what you prefer into the equation make no sense. It would as if you say that you prefer to drive while being drunk because you have more sensation, therefore you should be allowed to drive while being drunk.

In 30 year, they'll easely drive better than any human in 99.9% of situations and even off-road

This makes me think about this scene from OSS 117 (2), a french legendary movie, with Dujardin https://youtu.be/73_v1_7O9sg Rough translation : - I'm glad to have such a wonderful secretary - I'm not your secretary - Whose secretary are you? - I'm nobody's secretary, I'm part of the isralian army. And we are going to work as equal - We'll see when we will have to lift heavy things

In france, some call this a "crevette" (schrimp). Because everything is good, except the head

This is not a valide point. It was over 200 years ago. If we go this way, slavery is also one of the thing that build your country. Does that means it should still be a thing? Absolutely not

A country that has the most military victory but also surrendered in 3 weeks during the WW2

But what about a slow but sure interdiction of guns over a span of 70-80 years. You start by forbidding the war weapons to only allow handgun or whatever is the least dangerous weapon

It’s even easier to defend yourself against shooting if guns are not allowed in your country, like it’s done in civilised countries. But do whatever you want, I'm not the one living in a country where every day of the calendar is the anniversary of a school shooting

You can't be shot by your kids if there's no gun in your house...

That's why I love the US. A country where you have a battle between crazy people that think it's good idea to change the sex of their kids vs crazy people that think that it's a good idea to give a riffle to kids. Hard to tell who are the crazier here

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
