AMOGing is straight up the cringiest and most toxic concept I have ever heard.

The author has referred to it as bad boys versus nice guys, and it is about feeling attracted to men who fit more neatly into gender norms. I just do not fit in that. I have never been some super athletic daredevil. I like reading, gardening, and art. So my choice is I guess to either remain in the friend zone or pretend to be somebody I am not.

even the fantasy ‘bad boys’ you’ve conjured in your mind won’t sustain the exclusive attraction of a long-term partner. You say that, but the studies indicate otherwise. Even if they do not cheat, there is something the bad boy can give her that I cannot, and it goes beyond looks.

Well, why do you disagree? Also, is it due to intuition if it based on studies and experiences?

Look, I do not want to think this way. I truly want to overcome these insecurities, anxieties, and fears. I just cannot help but think there is some truth to this.

I know, women especially. That is the concerning part. Women with nice boyfriends are tempted to cheat with bad boys. That is why muscles and tattoos are attractive; they indicate a dangerous and exciting personality. So that means even if I work out, it will not matter because my personality will stay the same. Read the plot of Foolish Wives on Wikipedia.

I ever rely on intuition. Just because you feel something does not make it right.

I would never tell anyone how to live their life, and I am not going to judge your relationships. Having said that, I am going to repeat my story. There was an older guy (24) at my college, a Marine, who was buff and riddled with tattoos. He had the pick of girls at parties. In fact, I knew a librarian at my college - a 27 y/o, tall, attractive, very intelligent, well-educated, and slightly nerdy woman - who risked her job by flirting with this guy in a brewery. So if this super-clever woman ris…

it depends on their values, their wounds, self respect I took that to mean 'Women who have been hurt by bad boys will date nerd like you'

I don’t know why you are concerned with the one librarian anecdote. I am concerned about the anecdote because she is an intelligent, professional, well-educated woman. It shows that the appeal of the bad boy is not exclusive to popular airheads. Like what can you do to be ok if it’s all true? I have no idea.

Well, I think there is a difference. If I am married to a woman and notice a hot girl, the only thing about her that attracts me is her body. It begins and ends there. Women are attracted to men with tattoos and muscles because of the personality it indicates. Men like that excude an alpha male, aggressive energy. Their personality is sexually attractive to them.

You have been asking a variety of questions, so I think I will address what I perceive to be the spirit behind your questions. So the normative thesis of Red Pill is that woman like alpha male bad boys, even if they end up settling for a nice guy out of stability. It is comparable to how people might buy a sportscar in college but trade it in for a sedan when they get older. Their tastes do not change, but their priorities do. Whenever I talk about my insecurities with girls, the reassurance I h…

It’s not supported in the study you’ve repeatedly cited. The author of the study has described it as 'bad boy vs nice guy' and how women with nice guy boyfriends are still tempted by bad boys but not vice versa. You are missing the point. Women find muscular, tattooed men attractive because of the personality it indicates i.e. exciting, dangerous rebellious. It is nothing like men just checking out a woman with large breasts, as that attraction simply begins and ends with her physique. So when w…

It is nothing like men just checking out a woman with large breasts, as that attraction simply begins and ends with her physique. So when women date nice guys, it is not about 'He is not that hot but I like his persoality'. Rather, it is 'He is not that exciting, but at least he is stable and nice to me.' That is not to say women who date nice guys …

If someone is content in their relationship, or is determined to improve their relationship, then they should have the moral integrity to not cheat. Many cheaters are happy in their relationships.

Just because romance novels has the muscley jackass that overcome their heartlessness to fall for the woman doesn’t mean that’s what they would want in real life. What makes it exciting for them, though? I may not punch my boss however much I want to because of the long-term circumstances. I still want to, though.

Do you want to date and marry or do you want to fuck? Ideally date and marry, but it seems as if that the only girls who would date me would have to resist their carnal desires in doing so.

I am unsure if you can find a study that indicates men dating a type of woman is likely to cheat with another. There is no difference in personality between the type men want to have sex with as opposed to the type they want to date, as what makes a woman sexually attractive to a man exists in a vacuum from their personality. Women are attracted to tattoos and muscles especially since they indicate an aggressive personality.

This is a quote from Martie Haselton, behavioural psychologist who ran the study I linked: "Given the high demand for alpha males with a sweet and caring side, it seems that women learned…to exchange sexy for stable, picking the reliable male who would help at the nest."

"Given the high demand for alpha males with a sweet and caring side, it seems that women learned…to exchange sexy for stable, picking the reliable male who would help at the nest." This is exactly my point. This phrase confirms the entire normative thesis of RedPill; alpha fucks and beta bucks. In other words, women have a carnal attraction to alpha male bad boys, even if they end up with a nice guy. That is why women with nice guy boyfriends are tempted to cheat with bad boys but not vice versa…

You are basically conforming the thesis of redpill, which is that women have a carnal attraction to alpha bad boys, and that attraction does not switch off if they end up settling for a nice, stable guy. It is like when I eat salad even though I really want a burger, or when people drive sports cars in their youth and relunctantly trade them in for a sedan when they have a family. So you are saying the absolute best I can hope for is a woman to think 'He is not as sexy or interesting as the bad …

No where does it say that the "good gene" hypothesis includes shitty bad boy behavior like negging and being mean. It is also very careful to consistently refer to this theory as a hypothesis, meaning it isn't fully verified. It definitely doesn't say anything about tattoos. The author of the study, Marie Haselton, has described it as 'nice guys vs bad boys'. Look it up. In either case, in our conversation you went on to say that these men weren't mean. They just had tattoos. So the two muscular…

> Why choose to practice manipulation? Practicing manipulation is useful because people manipulate and gaslight one another all of the time. > Why choose to learn cynicism? Cynicism is an accurate lens with which to view the world. Look at the Holocaust. Look at nuclear weapons. Look at how much resources are spent on war and how little is spent on education. Look at how successful the most awful people are. More pointedly on to RedPill, all the commenters here are confirming the normative thesi…

It sounds like they are fine people who have tattoos. I am unsure who exactly you are talking about. They stop playing extreme sports, drinking as much, taking drugs, driving irresponsibly, all kinds of things. Red pill only describes the world in very simple terms: alpha or beta. Chad or cuck. Bad boy or nice guy. High value or low value. The world isn’t that simple. There is waaaaay more grey area. Exactly; you are saying 'women may like bad boys when they are young, but just wait until they g…

I know men who love tattoos on women. There’s whole subreddits for sexy tattooed women. Most of my friends, men and women, have tattoos so I don’t see it as a “bad boy” thing. They’re very common these days. Then why do studies show that women like tattoos only for one night stands as opposed to relationships? Once again, the normative status of RedPill is proven. I want to know if the women you know are married to mean men? No, but that actually is the point. Many women still want bad boys even…

Why do you think tattoos are sexy to women but not to men? Take a wild, insane guess. The two women you know, are their spouses really mean? Redpill has an explanation for this: Alpha fuck and beta bucks. Once again, you are promoting the exact same normative thesis as RedPill.

So what am I supposed to do, wait ten years for girls to get bored of bad boys and give me a chance? See, this is the exact same normative thesis as redpill. Not different at all. This is like saying 'I used to like sports cars, but now that I am older I need a practical sedan' or 'I like burgers, but they are bad for me so I eat salads.' It is fucking dehumanizing.

More effiminate yes but what makes you think women don't love that? Nope, the evidence clearly shows otherwise. I linked a study. Look at the sheer, ubiquitous popularity of Jason Mamoa amongst women. Fifty Shades of Grey. Why did an nitelligent, well-educated, nerdy librarian at my college flirt with a ripped Marine riddled with tattoos? How was said Marine incredibly popular with any woman who came across him? Look at how all the female fans of Stranger Things loved Billy. Watch Gilmore Girls.…
