Not trying to offend, but most people I see using ratchet are scummy people; which, I believe, is what that term refers to anyway. So I usually associate that term with stupid, hypocritical, ignorant scumbags on both side of its use. Usually they're also ghetto, or wanna-be ghetto people as well. Not sure if that's what the other guy was getting at, but that has been my experience with it. Plus a ratchet is an extremely useful tool, and those kind of people don't deserve to be associated with it…
