Agreed. The definition I'm using is the one that feminists use when anyone points out any differences between the sexes (even saying that women are generally feminine can be seen as sexist to them), it's not my personal definition because I think that there are inherent differences between male and female. I can entertain that women aren't as motivated to earn money as men, I actually agree with you on that, but then that would refute Patriarchy as being an oppressive social system. Generally there are major differences between the sexes, but that doesn't mean there aren't exceptions to this. I believe that testosterone and estrogen do affect our personality, but that doesn't mean that there aren't buff/tough women who can be firefighters or construction workers. Similarly some guys have above average emotional IQ. Generally though, there are obvious differences between men and women. Bio-truths DO real.

I know that we're very far into the hypothetical here but I would disagree, scientific advancements aren't reliant on what gender politicians, bankers, etc. are. I also don't believe that women aren't any less violent or likely to send soldiers into war than men. If i had to take a stab as to why this bias exists, I would say that it's because these scientists fear that women change the dynamic of laboratory politics. An increase in sexual tension does no favors for diligence in record keeping.
