When most of your peers believe something, what incentive would there be to question it when you can potentially lose your funding? How many biologists believe in evolution? 97% or more? I'm inclined to believe more. How about physics and relativity? More again. 97% seems awfully low for something that isn't even up for debate, and that literally cannot be experimentally tested.
