I didn't imply there was a conspiracy. When most of your peers believe something, what incentive would there be to question it when you can potentially lose your funding? How many biologists believe in evolution? 97% or more? I'm inclined to believe more. How about physics and relativity? More again. 97% seems awfully low for something that isn't even up for debate, and that literally cannot be experimentally tested. (Can't exactly build a new earth to use as a control).

Plenty of reasons. 97% of climate scientists probably wouldn't be employed if AGW wasn't real or wasn't as big a deal as its made out to be.
