Instead the article goes in great detail into how bad those ratios are and (especially) how evil those men who "play the field" An interesting analysis. What you leave out (or just touch on tangentially) is arguably the most interesting part: If those men didn't play the field, there'd be an overwhelming number of women whose wants and needs would go totally and completely unmet.
