In terms of life goals and career, just do the thing that you’re interested in, doesn’t really matter what it is, keep doing that thing and eventually you’ll get bored and not want to do it, but keep at it and don’t give up. Get out of your head, stop over-thinking, stop being indecisive about whether this is the “right path” and just move forward towards some goal or accomplishment. One day you’ll look back and say “Hey I’m actually pretty fucking awesome at doing this thing and I can actually …

The fact that you think IT involves repairing computers all day tells me you haven’t really researched these jobs. You should research thoroughly on both topics and what your end goal would be if you were to go into either field. I know off the bat that there’s a lot of room to grow in the technology field and things you can specialize in. Computer networking, Cloud, security, databases, systems architect are all IT fields. If you’re planning on staying in IT and only fixing desktops and PCs, I’…

Hobby is something you do during free-time or a leisure activity. A mission is something you dedicate your life doing and purpose is the why you exist on this planet. Photography is a hobby if you go out to take pictures of interesting things. But if you quit your day job, go to a third-world country, stay for months to capture imagery to show the rest of the world the reality others live in. This could be called a mission or purpose.

A lot of people who looks at social media feels this way to a certain extent, girls and guys. Also, that’s usually those people’s livelihood and how they earn money. Is that what you want to do? Almost any profession looks good when you’re successful. You have to try to work on your own goals and do the things that really matter to you.

If you don’t mind taking the time, what were your meals like and macros?

This sub-reddit and it’s posts are so revolved around Alpha / Beta behaviors that to those who don’t have natural, or learned, Alpha behavior need advice on situations specific to their lives. The sub is toaskredpill and it’s a learning process. To those outside looking in, these questions seem autistic but we all start some where. They’ll learn from the helpful answers and realize how to behave in future situations.

Appreciate your post. Some of your points are valid but others I don’t agree with. I’ll take from it things I think will work for me.

No, I’m fairly confident the NFL won’t put a women in. The amount of bad press they’d receive from doing this would out-weight anything good. The NFL is a business that’s basically owned by rich white men and their interests lie in making money. That shit will not make them money, and even if it did, no way they would take an unnecessary risk like that.

It makes sense. The faster she forgets about you and finds someone else, the better she’ll be. Cutting her out of your life right now is good for her in the long run. You’re not ever gonna love her the way she loves you and there’s no way for you to make it work without you losing out in some way. I understand you’re trying to minimize her pain, but I don’t think you’re the one who can actually do that anymore. She needs to find someone else or cope in another way. Similarly like how girls leave…

You should finish high school and go to a good college that’s related to your interests. Network with other smart students or your professors and collaborate and learn. I’m not sure of anyone that built a great business on their own. You’ll want to meet others like yourself that share the same vision and college is actually a decent place for that. Even Elon Musk received a bachelors degree and started to pursue a PhD before dropping out to start multiple businesses. Make your own path but try t…

Just do your thing man. Love my mom, but sometimes she has no idea what she’s talking about. They grew up in a different era where people were skinny and good looks were determined by how tall and lean you were. Working out and getting “big” wasn’t as big of a thing where they were from so she told me to stop... Years later i’m still working out and neither of my parents mind it. Keep lifting!

I agree with this, but for some people it's hard to completely ignore someone especially when you're actively trying to. You should try to be out of the house more often and doing things you like. Also maybe move out sooner than later. Without you being aware, this kind of stuff can affect your mindset.

Do you actually feel uncomfortable or are you down right against her male friends sleeping over? I feel like you need to clearly define your boundaries and be honest. Also, from what you’re saying, it seems like you value her more than you value yourself.

Reminds me of the scene in the movie Superbad where the kid tries to bring the chick he’s trying to bang some liquor bc she asked but during the journey breaks the bottle and reluctantly goes to the party. Turns out she’s already drunk and ready to fuck his brains out. Definitely go, with or without liquor up to you. She didn’t invite you to bring more booze if they already got.

Good post, you handled your situation very well. I also read that article about the guy wanting to pursue his dream of winning a CoD championship instead of staying with his hot Mexican gf. A lot of guys were tearing him up, calling him an idiot, why would he play a video game over being with his hot gf. All I could think about is how fast these guys would drop their dreams and life goals for a hot chick. Thanks for the post. I’ll be trying to implement what you wrote into my life as well.

What are some very important things to do to prevent yourself from reverting back to your “old” habits. I’ve been pretty good until the last month or so, but I’ve been losing motivation to improve myself. How do you keep on track and what do you do when you realize you’re being lazy and need to get back to it?
