Here in Tromsø, thats not the norm at all. If you're being honest, then I guess thats just a testament to the differences between the south and north in this country. I've worked in restaurants for 3 years and its rare to recieve a tip, and if you do its generally people paying in cash and not wanting the change back (so literally pocket change).
