This is definitely wrong and I hope victims come forward and sue or press charges and the people who are saying it was ok are clearly wrong, though this is very very different from and not as bad what Cosby died. I would much much rather be robbed than raped.

There isn't an argument to be had here. You're denying the existence of a scientifically proven thing.

Yeah see when it comes to human rights and bigotry and shit, that argument stops working. If someone goes around saying "I think black people are subhuman and don't deserve respect" they don't get to chalk that up to a difference of opinion.

Ok but leading psychiatric organizations disagree with you and I value the experts' views a lot more.

It's science. It's true whether you believe it or not. To do be honest, I don't really understand transness either. I'm cis and I just have no idea what being trans feels like or is like, but i don't need to understand something to acknowledge it as true and respect it. I don't understand quantum physics but I acknowledge that they're real and that scientists have acknowledged that as well. The idea that we have to completely understand something to acknowledge and respect it is the source of a …

Of course you cant just arbitrarily choose to be something you're not but what you don't seem to get is that trans people do not choose to be trans. It's an inherent part of them that they ideally realize in life and are able to accept rather than kill themselves over. Their brains are literally different shapes. It's like being gay or straight, it's not something you can just choose. If they could, most trans people through out most of history would probably have chosen not to be since it cause…

What the fuck is funny about this? What shitty thing did she do to warrant this? This just looks like fucking with her for no reason.

Actually most modern science supports trans identities but sure we can be done

The fuck do I care what she looks like? If she identifies as a woman than she's a fucking woman.

But....it literally says she's a woman? Like am I missing something? It says "as a fellow transgender woman" ergo she is a woman. Like what am I missing here?

It says she's a transgender woman

The way that black people have been extremely economically, politically, and socially oppressed, as well as the way that oppression is used to intentionally drive them to crime so that they can be policed and sentenced far more severely than white people and then imprisoned in a system that literally involves forced labor for companies with almost no pay, collectively is extremely similar to a form of slavery. Now sure, not all black people are subjected to that, hell we had a black president, b…

If you have biases based on race, then yeah you are racist so plenty of black people are racist. They just don't have the ability to be institutionally racist.

No it's not? It specifically says she's a woman

Even if she serves her entire sentence which is unlikely, she will be out before she turns 24.

What the fuck does this mean? Starting a podcast is cool (I would like to at somepoint) but it is NOT professional therapy while having OnlyFans is actually a form of self employment and therefore can he considered a job. As can having a podcast. Both are hobbies that can become jobs and have the potential to be therapeutic but neither are a stand in for someone who needs therapy. What is the commenter even talking about?

I'm not triggered, I just think it's a stupid law and I don't know why people are excited about it being enforced. Feels like they just are excited to see bad things happen to women.

Ok first of all: Yes you should still be surprised if someone pulls out a shotgun just for eating meat in their home because that is a horribly disproportionate reaction. Secondly: Whether they knew the law or not is irrelevant, my point is that it's a fucked up law. Their laws are oppressive and sexist and stupid. Why are we celebrating that?

Why the fuck are people here celebrating oppressive laws and arresting people just for being naked?

Probably yeah, she seems actively concerned about the rape of children. As we all should be.

No I don't think it was there claiming it was wrong. It was just showing was just showing something that had popped up on Twitter.

These can be difficult situations for hiring managers (my dad is one) because you want who is best for the job but someone being part of a less represented population can SOMETIMES genuinely make them the best candidate over someone who is more experienced or classically "qualified." As my dad put it, "It's in the best interest for companies to hire underrepresented populations because they are going to think differently and eventually have an idea we wouldn't otherwise have had and it's going t…

Why is someone not being able to pay their bills during one of the hugest unemployment crisis in history possibly a good thing?
/r/PussyPassDenied14/01/21 09:42 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
