Haha. Me too. It is easier for women to go dormant. Some are better at it than others. Seems like those with shaky self-esteem or needing validation from men are more likely to not be able to go without sex as long.

There’s not a whole lot of sense is zooming so far out and trying to ask which sex is more attractive, as attraction isn’t a constant for most. What’s the point? On dating apps, yes, in general men swipe right a lot more than women do and women are more discerning, but that’s almost an innate behavior. The question you should be asking is how as a man can I be more attractive to women? Attraction isn’t static. In six months time I can put on 50 pounds, lose all my self-esteem and self-confidence…

Dessert - generally yes but it depends on the women. Often, the longer it is for a woman the more the need.

Attraction is about physical features and personality. Personality can enhance for draw from physical attraction. If someone is not attractive, they can do their best to dress up their key features and tone down their detracting features (like lose weight, straighten their teeth, learn how to dress, get a decent haircut or pair of glasses.) Self-assuredness, feeling comfortable in your own skin will add to that; and in some cases be your defining attractor. This all takes self work though, and f…

Maybe try getting out of victim mentality and proactively doing something to change your lot. What you put out in the universe is what you get back… It’s the law of attraction. When men crybaby about how they’re a victim to women’s lack of interest in them, they get exactly that. It’s a pretty shallow, simple and narcissistic mindset to think, “it can’t be me it must be everybody else.”

That’s your conclusion on all women based on two bullet points - antidepressant use at 65+ and “heavier” (heavier how?) With that level of insight, you should go into market research!

Yep lots of incels and patriarchy types looking for confirmation to their misguided beliefs. It’s ripe ground for a narcissist with a big personality and no soul to corral them up, do a podcast and then monetize it.

An fyi, You have to sign up for gold so you can see how many people liked you — it’s likes, not matches. And the pictures have be cute and showing some skin. The gal that told me this was around 40 and very attractive for her age.

Yup that sounds about right. I often call out the hypergamy / body-count babies, or the “must be a virgin” types and ask them what country they’re in and they never respond. I mean it sucks as their culture progresses with the rest of the world, forcing them to step up to the plate to be desirable men instead of the old entitled way, where their parents club a woman over the head for them from their familial or communal network (often a 2nd or 3rd cousin), which he then drags back home and lives…

Right - it’d be a novelty to match with and eff with a clown account named Bertha, 69, 300 lbs. I’d invite the OP to rename the account to “Kathy” and don’t mention the weight, just show pics (relatively plain) of an obese old woman, and see how many matches then. I’d predict much fewer.

Tinder is a different beast. They’ve many more users, are positioned to be a more causal dating app, and the ratio is 4:1 or 5:1 women to men, depending on which analysis you read and when it was done. In large markets - LA, Chicago,SF, NYC, cute women can have 1000+ likes within 24 hours.

Evil or extremely misguided. Some people believe in their own medicine. RP mindset started with guys on the coaching/winning at relationship spectrum versus the hypergamy/incel/“we’re all victims” mindset. They talked about how to generally queue in on women’s innate behavioral instincts in a healthy way, something that BPs seem to think doesn’t exist any longer.

Yep, there are zillions of women in that segment. There’s no way you could possibly be in competition for ALL of them unless you’re in a very small town. Big picture - There are groups you can join to improve dating and relationship skills and there are groups to improve your career/ finances. Not everyone outside those communities are interested in helping other people on those topics. When you surround yourself with good people who are successful and want to see you succeed too, whatever that …

If you’re in an 1800s hamlet, maybe?

Not everyone is that Machiavellian. What you’re describing is a shortage mindset. There are zillions of women to choose from. I’m not in competition from somebody in a different city, so I will gladly help a stranger going through the same struggles.

Dating advice and marriage advice are vastly different things. One is attracting a mate the other is keeping the mate after the “infatuation period.”

No one ever bows out from giving advice on anything. Most everyone loves to hear themselves talk. You’re going to often get better advice online from people that have the same set of interests and hurdles as you do versus people IRL. I never go to my family for advice anymore. They never left rural living or the 1990s, and wouldn’t get a clue if it was handed to them on a silver platter.

There’s lots of trimmed / landing strips out there doesn’t have to be entirely shaved. But untouched, unkempt you can’t see anything and it can smell like musty unwashed hair.
