“Millionaire, expensive car, trip to Switzerland, no intimacy, religious.” Having lived in the golf countries these key words all give it off pretty easily to me. My guess is he fancied you and enjoyed the romance while it lasted. His family probably has cultural expectations that he’s not letting you know, however him distancing himself is probably for the best.

Did you clearly let him know how it’s making you feel? I wouldn’t mention the lack of attraction yet as it can hurt, but let him know how you are a woman who needs to be taken care of to feel loved. I was in the same situation with my husband. It was frustrating because he paid for rent and nothing else and I found myself responsible for groceries or any other item we needed, appliances, even take out. It didn’t impact my attraction but I was very resentful. He knew how I felt but couldn’t do an…

Yes, unfortunately now you’re poor and alone but at least you can belly dance and not be legally tied to a control freak you didn’t want to marry.

The ick is not going to get better. It’s just 6 months. You don’t have to like or be ok with this. I wouldn’t.

He’s got his own house, probably more than one room, and he’s like “sorry I won’t even lend you my couch?” . 2 years in? Girl bye. He doesn’t even deserve to be an acquaintance let alone a husband.

I have a degree in education. SAHM of 3 for the past 6 years with some gigs in between. Husband is not abusive. I can go back to work when kids are older. I know at least 10 other wives like this. Just pick a good person that you like their family.

You already got pretty nice ideas! No tips as I’m going to follow your post for answers. Funnily enough I have a dinner party with my husband at his workplace coming up this week too.
