I'm in the UK! I go to a JD gym that has a women's only room with pretty much all of the same equipment as the main gym (just less of them). Not all cities have them but they do exist, I'd definitely recommend taking a look.

When men compliment you by putting down other women. It shows that they view most women in a negative way, but see you as an exception to this. One of the most obvious early-stage red flags for misogyny. E.g. "wow, most girls aren't as ... as you", or "its rare to find girls that are so ..."

I feel that. But in true communism women are comrades/equals and not property. Allowing certain individuals (men) to gain power by oppressing others (women) is the exact opposite of what communism stands for.

As a leftist I physically don't understand how you can call yourself a communist while also supporting the (extremely exploitative) capitalist commodification of women's bodies. These men seem to view women as a natural resource that they have a right to use for their own pleasure. It's fine that they're being abused if they're being paid for it, even if they're being paid a miniscule amount compared to the people that run the industry. No real communist could believe this.

People that act like this don't seem to realise that it's not our responsibility to convince them not to hate us. They'll hate us no matter what we do. They are the problem here, not us.

who the f is naturally hairless unless they have a bloody condition? Children. Sounds very much like he's looking for a prepubescent girl.

Whenever I've been stopped by a woman it's been for really quick easy things like "hey where does the no.10 bus leave from" or just really basic stuff that takes no more than a few seconds Meanwhile, with random men I've been asked to: Lend him my phone (repeatedly, even after I refused- I was literally in the middle of a call) Watch an infant child while he grabs some things Give him my lunch Buy him a bus ticket Hold a bus for over 10 mins so he could go to the toilet And that's not even menti…

Men don't like women that are "easy" because they don't like women who genuinely consent. They want to coerce them into sleeping with them, rather than have them be willing to sleep with them in the first place. Enthusiastic consent is a turn-off for them, they'd rather we were cold and uninterested.

The part I find funny is when men complain that they "aren't allowed to show emotion" as if the reason for that isn't that they've degraded and oppressed women for their emotions for hundreds of years to the point that having any feelings is associated with both femininity and weakness/inability

One time when I commented in a different sub, on a different topic, people made fun of me for the sexual abuse I posted about on FDS and told me it was my own fault, so even in the rare chance that they do believe you they still act badly.

While I agree with the main message of this, subscribing to OF or jerking off to photos that women post of themselves is still predatory behaviour. Obviously the other examples are worse, but we still shouldn't be encouraging behaviour that's demeaning to women. Women posting "promiscuous" photos of themselves does not give men free reign to sexualize them, and just because they consented to posting it doesn't mean they consented to being objectified.

I'm only 20 and my boyfriend (also 20) doesn't watch porn because watching it when he was younger gave him a distorted view on sex/women that he acknowledged to be unhealthy. It is possible! Please don't settle!!

When I go clubbing with my boyfriend, strangers seem to think that he's just picked me up at the bar or something and will "congratulate" him, even when I'm stood right there

This was a couple years ago but a real convo I had with a guy that I was talking to that lived across the country: Him- Will you drive to come and see me? Me- No I don't drive, you should come here. Him- meet me half way? Me- I don't drive. Him- get the train Me- buy my train ticket Him- why should I do that? BLOCK

Yeah://// alot of liberal ""feminists"" have very warped ideas of what sex positivity means. Radical feminism is the only place where I've seen a definitive stance against sex work/ pornography as an exploitative industry. At 16 you don't count as a minor in my country, but porn is still illegal until 18, something that I've actually seen quite a few of these women complain about as they think that 16 is old for the age of consent, so she should have "freedom over her own body" (aka selling nude…

Either way, the child will be far better off with her as a single mother than if this asshole was still in the picture

OP sounds like the sorta guy that pressures her out of condoms because it "doesn't feel as good" and they "probably won't get pregnant anyways" (and even if they do he won't take any responsibility/ feel any obligation to look after his own child, so it doesn't really matter to him)

That's the thing about LVM, they want to act like it's the 50s when they're asking for housework/childcare, but when it comes to providing they expect to only pay half of the finances. Modern feminism is doing so so so much damage to women :/ no surprise at all that so many men support it

I wonder what his reaction would be if she agreed to work and made him quit his job to look after the kids instead... poor kids, would be better off with a single mum
