Hopefully OP believes you. He's gonna be on this sub one way or the other. Now...or later once she emotionally re-loads then leaves him again.

she's trying to play you. She wants to fuck you financially, then she'll ghost your ass faster than a one night stand. Her saying "im manipulating him into a divorce favorable to me, by making him think i still love him and theres a chance afterwards " wouldn't even move the needle at a brunch of 10 women. This is run of the mill stuff for them. Dont fall for it. You're going to divorce, and you'll never be with her again. She knows this. And now....so do you.

Our sex life was fine , so I can't give my personal experience , but if what guys post on here is any indication, do not divorce because you're thinking you can get with a woman who will have more sex than what you're getting now. Dudes will go months without sex in marriages. Even ones that last.

I should've realized when she tried looking up on Facebook a dude she had dated ....the 1st week of our marriage. Oh but it gets better. This was maybe two years after the fact. And she couldn't find him because he had blocked her. In her defense...it does sound like he pumped and dumped but who is still holding onto a 4, 5 week fling years after the fact? Sure, we men can't get over love...but to our wives, or women we spent years...decades with. Women will do that shit over a guy they spent 2 …

Let her get mad. You're doing the right thing. She wants the divorce, shell get the divorce. Women will use their exes for emotional support or attention(or sex as you're finding out) for as long as they can. Some guys do it for years, hoping a morsel of flirting or positive feedback means there's a chance of reconciliation. Women know this and will use it to their advantage. My then estranged wife was in another city and wanted me to come down for the weekend. I was desperate to get her back. A…

Read this one a few times OP. You can nurse her back to health, be the man and sacrifice, then she'll thank you for your service, and leave your ass later anyways.

"She's literally alone," Well...maybe she should've thought of that before she wanted to leave the one family she did have. She wants out of the tribe...fine, she has that right, but she doesn't get to enjoy the benefits of it still.

"She's literally alone, family is either dead or deadbeats" Well shit, maybe she should've thought of that before she asked for a divorce from the one family she did have.

It's what I tell guys on here all the time. Your ex will get bored of the next guy too.

Yeeeep. I've got a good friend that runs a interior design company. She tells me what her female coworkers talk about. Routinely compare the number of dudes their fucking in tinder. Married women casually talk about how they plan on leaving their husband in 2 (or 3 or 4) years from now. Two divorced women bragged about how their ex husband's reached out to them and how pathetic they think their exes are for still being in love with them.

So she ghosts you for a month, gets fucked by 4 dudes, and then hits you up? God damn. Of course you don't take her back. Oh, and dude, That's the 4 she told you about. She didn't mention the other 2. So...you've been warned.

"You'll make a nice husband for someone else one day" Prove her right. No guy should go back after months. I'd imagine a lot of 30 years marriages have dudes who had had to put up with a few D-word tantrums getting thrown out. They can say and get away with things we can't. But If it's been months it's because she's fucked some dudes and did the tinder thing and that 6'4 surgeon isn't matching/wanting her like she thought. She'll only resent you going forward. Secretly wondering if she could've …

"Yet she tells me I need to improve on but doesn't outline what I need to improve on". We've all been there. The reasons that she claimed to be divorcing you , are irrelevant now. Even if we take those reasons at face value (which I highly doubt). You'll realize this in time as you navigate post divorce and talk with other guys. But...the vast, vast majority of women divorce cuz their bored/are looking for new D. It doesn't matter what hoop you tried to jump through. She would've just changed th…

So the hill I'll die on with divorce is that women know years in advance they're going to divorce you. Thats why there is nothing on her end. It's ok to grieve. In regards to a song. I have a positive story for you OP. There's a song that says the word "my wife" and I cried like a baby right after we first divorced hearing it. I heard the song later and...not a tear. 😊 you'll get there too. The grief does end.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
