That’s the point. Factoring in every aspect of someone’s life determines their overall societal value.

Women aren’t a monolith. 99% of guys have jobs that are average income/social status and many of those men are married or have girlfriends. Generally speaking, of course making more money is a more attractive quality. Having an active social life is also a great quality to have. But these things are only two variables out of nearly infinite number of qualities. People are more complex and interesting than their jobs. Does the loner guy also engage in interesting hobbies? Does the social guy do m…

I wouldn’t hesitate to guess that you believe men who beat their wives or neglect their children are low value men.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:11 PM

Everyone has societal value, and value perceived by others. And it’s not only attractiveness, your value is factored by every aspect of your life. A manipulative drug addict with no redeemable qualities is low value compared to a homeowner with a functional family and stable employment. No one can argue that point.

Ok, let’s say they’ve made 10,000 videos featuring 15 unique guests in each (which they haven’t. It’s way less than that). That’s 150,000 women. There’s ~30,000,000 women ages 20-34 in the US, so that’s 0.005 percent of the population. Let’s multiply that by 10, just to give you the benefit of the doubt. 0.050 percent of the population. Is 0.050 percent of the population even close to being representative of the whole group? These kinds of women are statistically irrelevant. But of course there …

I’m pretty sure you’re in the minority of women who actually believe that. And I’d actually argue the contrary: most men find most women attractive, and most women file most men away as invisible. Study regarding the topic: https://blog.timesunion.com/kristi/2016/02/22/about-80-percent-of-men-unattractive-women-say/amp/ But I’ll ask again, do you mind explaining where you’re deriving your point from, or is it just personal experience?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:41 AM

Yeah, no. I’m not sure where you’re deriving that from.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 05:30 AM

I understand your point, but you can find endless streams of anything online these days. With so much content available, it’s easy to grab from a single niche and apply it to the broader population.

They actively seek out these women. Most of them are procured from sugar daddy websites that Myron uses to reel in this demographic of individual. They do not represent the average woman by any stretch of the imagination.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 03:56 AM

Most women definitely aren’t represented by the guests on F&F lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 03:30 AM

How is it stupid if you’re literally agreeing with that I’m saying?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/22 01:16 AM

I’ve never watched that, so I can’t form an opinion on it. But from just glancing at the channel, it looks like a female F&F following a similar concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 10:27 PM

This is the definition of RP content.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 10:16 PM

Sure, we can create a whole thread on that as well. Feel free to do so, and provide examples.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 10:08 PM

I don’t understand your point. I’ve watched a huge portion of their content and arrived at this conclusion. You’re saying my conclusion is wrong, and I’m asking you to provide contrary evidence. So, again, if it’s the case that they have more moderate videos that aren’t showcasing a majority of over-the-top women, can you please link those videos?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 10:07 PM
8

Do you mind providing a link to a more moderate video of theirs? Because I’ve watched hours of F&F, and the overwhelming majority of their guests are exactly as I described. In a room of 10-15 women, there are maybe 3 who are somewhat level-headed in their videos.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 09:57 PM

Yes, I believe it is important to recognize the behavior of the extreme side of women, and I will admit that these channels do provide an idea as to what you need to be looking out for. The issue is that the audience attributes the behavior of these women to the whole group, and that is also the intent of these content creators. The “women ain’t shit” mentality is basically their selling point, and I believe that’s a dangerous idea to be implanting into the heads of young men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/22 09:51 PM

Good luck with that hatred
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/22 09:04 PM

Then don’t. Who is saying you have to? You sound like you have a personal issue with men over 30. And it’s generally the case that men are more established in their 30’s.

So you are the exception and not the rule.

If assertions are made, you follow up with a counter argument. It’s called a conversation. You can claim anything you want about me, but you won’t even be able to include a study supporting your claim…because no such studies exist.

Comments like these always make me so curious what the person looks like. Men’s threshold for what they find attractive isn’t very high. I’ve seen so many self proclaimed ugly girls who look just fine and would do fine on the dating scene if they just put forth some effort.

If you have access to Ferraris your whole life, are you going to settle for a Honda civic when it’s offered to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/22 02:23 AM
2

Most definitely. I also think those studies are inherently flawed, because people generally embellish/minimize their body count. Any study regarding N-count is assuming the participants are telling the truth. There are also far too many personal variables in regards to divorce, so deriving any concrete data on this subject is just not feasible.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 09:01 AM
1

I think that statement is derived from a study regarding N-count and it’s correlation with divorce rates. There’s also scientific literature about the chemical oxytocin and it’s role regarding pair-bonding, but there’s so much science jargon in those studies, I can never fully understand them. That’s a starting point, but I’ll see what I can find in the morning.

What exactly changed that you suddenly were able to hook up so much?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 03:41 AM

If what I see daily on social media is indicative of a real societal trend, then yes. But considering only 14% of men in the US are 6ft or taller, obviously not all women with this requirement are going to find someone that checks that box.

Then 99.99% of people fail my friend. in 100 years after your death, no one will remember you. Maybe a select few with some old pictures on a hard drive. But again, either way, dead is dead. And what you do on this earth is far more than having kids.

If you’re going to include statistics, you need to state them correctly and use proper studies to back your claims. The original comment said ALL OLD APPS when she should have said ONLY tinder, because that’s the stat she was referencing. FAR MORE than 7% of women are using dating apps, so her initial comment is FALSE. The statistic she included is SKEWED because it is not accounting only for single, unmarried women who are interested in dating. If 300 of the 600 respondents to that survey are m…

I’m not talking about the post. I’m talking about u/caetraaa’s original comment that said “7% of women use OLD APPS,” she didn’t say just tinder. Then she linked her study which means nothing because 1.) it was only 600 respondents from all ages across a period of two days, and 2.) older women don’t use tinder which skews the results.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 04:31 PM
4

And OP’s comment said OLD apps, which includes far more than tinder
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 04:17 PM

That’s only tinder though. Plenty of women are using alternatives such as Hinge & Bumble, and loads of older women are still using dating sites like eHarmony and match.com.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 04:09 PM
2

Where are you getting this percentage? And is that 7% of all women, or 7% of single women actively dating/looking for a partner? I guarantee that number is higher if we’re only talking single women.

How is a mental disability equivalent to moral failing?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 08:05 PM

When you lead with “honey,” you’re just being a condescending prick. And I’m talking specifically about your previous comment. I never claimed you said that attractive people need to die off, but you’re suggesting there are individuals that just “take up space.” That’s textbook dehumanization, and really disgusting language.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 03:22 AM
9

You’re a really awful person for saying things like this. Should disabled and depressed people just die off because they’re “do nothings” and “tedious” and “take up space”? Jesus, you people don’t even think before making such flippant statements. Gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 01:56 AM

Maybe that’s the problem. You don’t think.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 12:16 AM

Good argument!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 12:15 AM
5

It’s effectively zero in the grand scheme. And fyi, most of your descendants will not act or think like you. It only takes one generation for kids to be near-opposite of their parents. You’re operating on a narcissistic principle, thinking that you’ll be eternalized by having kids. You won’t. You’ll be just as dead as everyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 11:44 PM
7

It’s a brutal world out there. Don’t let it get to you though, there’s plenty of good things you can achieve in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 11:41 PM
2

Sure, but who cares other than yourself? Even if you have 500 kids and 10,000 descendants, you’re only accounting for 0.000125% of the human population. I will never understand this mindset.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 11:33 PM
5

I have as well. I was asked to my face if the reason I was a virgin was because I was molested as a child (I wasn’t). People whose lives are so wrapped up in sex just can’t understand the other side, and will bulldoze you to feel superior.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 11:26 PM
9

I’m staunchly antinatalist, so I couldn’t disagree with you more. A trailer-trash family having ten future felons is by no means superior to someone who dedicated their life to ending a disease. I don’t care either way, though. Once you die, the world ends with you, wether or not you’ve reproduced. In three generations you’ll be nothing but a name etched into a headstone.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 11:24 PM
3

But mothers aren’t ugly sexless virgins /s It’s really amazing to me how we’ve reached this point. There was a quad-homocide at the University of Idaho last month, and there were swaths of people suggesting that there was a high likelihood the murderer was a jaded incel. It was at that point that I fully understood just how brainwashed people can be.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 11:19 PM
7

…except it isn’t. If you actually believe this and act it out, then it’s perfectly reasonable for men to rape and manipulate women for sex so long as you’re fulfilling your purpose. Reproduction is just a single facet of the human experience. I think helping others is a far more rational and reasonable human purpose than reproduction. Maybe you’re right about the fear response, but I don’t think people fear monastic monks or people just generally uninterested in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 11:00 PM
2

No it isn’t. If you actually thought it was less than that, you wouldn’t label such a large group based on such minimal occurrences. There are more instances of female teachers raping their students than incels killing people, but you aren’t going to tell me all female teachers are predators. This is exactly the point of my post. You have an idea locked in your head that sexless men are inherently creepy/violent/misogynistic. And you’re willing to lie to keep that perception alive. Ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 10:30 PM
8

It’s not about explicit public denigration, it’s about social perception.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 10:22 PM
5

And plenty of men go on to beat/kill their partners—far more than any incels that are killing people. But we generally shouldn’t attribute actions of the minority to the majority, should we? This is also completely blown out of proportion. If you Google misogynistic terrorism, there have only been 16 instances in the last thirty years. But people like yourself act as though these are daily occurrences, and the media feeds into that as well. Most women who are raped, assaulted, stalked, or killed…

And it’s possible for culture and context to be wrong and used maliciously.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 09:49 PM

You want to have random sex even if it’s bad for you like OP stated? If you’re wanting to do this, either the sex isn’t bad or something else is happening here. Also, you don’t have to tell.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 09:47 PM
5

Absolutely false. And a priest in this context would be considered voluntarily celibate or Vocel. Words have meanings. People have skewed the meaning of incel. Per your example, short guys who can’t get sex, but want sex are incels by definition, even if they don’t exhibit behaviors that people PRESUME incels have.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 09:44 PM
20

To be fair, that part of OPs comment isn’t biblical. God never promises rewards, and actually states that following him will lead to a harder life. But there is the un-biblical teaching of the prosperity gospel.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 09:27 PM
5

Reality decides. When most women are pining for the top percentile of men, you’re left with a lot of lonely men and women. At that point it’s realistic to suggest that women reduce their expectations. That doesn’t mean they have to. But it’s really no different than unemployed bob wanting a supermodel wife, and we can all agree that isn’t realistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 09:22 PM
13

No one is claiming that. And that’s exactly the point of my post. It is the case that many men who lack morality are getting sex and have relationships, YET those who cannot are perceived as the ones having a moral deficit.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 08:31 PM
12

Proving my point. Men aren’t allowed to talk about their suffering regarding not being able to get sex or relationships? Yes, I understand that some of them are misogynists. But you can’t tell me that simply talking about a increasingly common men’s issue makes them monsters. If you genuinely believe that, then all older women talking about their grief because they can’t find a man to commit to them are on the same level.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 07:49 PM
9

Is it denigration, or it it suggesting that, collectively, women’s standards have been raised to unrealistic heights, and that they should consider playing ball in their own league? Because that’s what I’m seeing. I’ve never seen anyone here tell a woman to give unemployed fat bob a chance just because he’s interested
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 07:44 PM
8

Plenty of involuntary celibate men would be thrilled to have a relationship. All you need to do is take a peek on r/lonely. You’ll see it started over and over that most of those people don’t even want sex, they just want someone to be there. Also, you’re implying that only wanting sex over a relationship is somehow inherently immoral. Would you say a woman is immoral for having one night stands over pursuing relationships?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 07:24 PM

This is perfect. Thank you for writing this.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 07:19 PM

Who is denigrating women for not giving unattractive men a chance? Their friends? Their family? Other, more attractive men? Where are you seeing this happen?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 07:15 PM
14

You’re proving my point with that first sentence. “You must be lazy, have a bad personality, etc etc.” you’re attributing a moral failing to men who can’t get sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 07:14 PM
19

The very concept of involuntary celibacy is being touted as the boogeyman. Everyone relates the term incel with morally degenerate people, when all it means is people unable to get sex.

They seem to have no problem pulling girls, despite being average in looks. I’m going to assume you are a woman. There are a few studies that suggest 80% of men are viewed as below average by women. Women in general have a skewed idea as to what “average” means to them, and chances are these guys are actually decent looking compared to objectively average men. Additionally, you are understating the power of the halo effect. If a guy does not register on a woman’s radar in terms of physical attra…

Any man who is willing to settle down with a porn star is not going to have traditional values.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 08:18 AM
4

Then why are women choosing to participate in hookup culture?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 08:10 AM
1

Well like my other comment on this post, you can’t really have a proper conversation about any of this without defining what you mean by “traditional.” In fact, after re-reading OPs post again, I don’t even really know what they’re getting at without that definition. Traditional can mean a whole spectrum of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 06:25 AM
1

But none of that is traditional in the Western sense. The very concept of a traditional marriage is pulled straight from the Bible, and the Bible is extremely explicit about sexual sin which includes sex outside of marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 06:16 AM
4

Sure, but you also can’t have your cake and eat it too. As an extreme example, an ex porn star who wants to settle down and start a traditional family is trying to play both sides. Even if she upholds traditional values after the fact, you can’t just not factor in her past. Similarly, if a guy is in and out of jail for domestic abuse, but then “comes to Jesus” and wants to lead a traditional lifestyle…by all means, but his prospective partners are probably not going to be on the same page. In te…

You’re assuming men being routinely rejected are not playing within their league. Some are. Many are still rejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 05:51 AM
1

There’s an easy fix for this, though. You simply don’t engage with someone on an intimate level if you’ve just met them. You actually get to know the person or establish a relationship before sex. Unless you’re dealing with a psychopathic predator, I don’t see any guy going through all the motions of a relationship for a one-time fling. Yes, you are correct that being used for sex can be devastating, but it’s so easily avoidable that I can’t really empathize. Also, if it’s the case where a woman…

There definitely are differences, and I agree with most of what you are saying. In terms of being used for x, y, z, I think both sexes deal with this, albeit for different reasons. As you said, women may be used for sex/be treated differently because of their looks, but on the other hand, men can be used for their time, attention, and money. If you’re interacting with new people who are attracted to you, whether it’s romantically or sexually, both men and women should approach it with some degre…

The reason you included it just proves how people view this issue. It’s no different than saying a rich teenager’s suffering from getting a 1999 Civic from his parents when he expected an Audi “may be” the same suffering as a poor kid that got rejected for a car loan. The marketplace disparity between men and women at the moment is higher than it’s ever been. Women are not “suffering” from having more options than they can handle, and men certainly are suffering from having less options than bef…

Being used for sex once compared to being rejected 20 times is hilarious. Firstly, unless it’s rape, having sex is an active choice. And even if you say no to the offer, it’s still personal validation and attention. Being rejected isn’t a choice, and it’s been studied that rejection activates the same part of your brain responsible for interpreting physical pain. I understand what you’re getting at, but the absolute disconnect people have regarding this topic just blows my mind.
