Right, so most women didn't vote for trump. Do you know how to calculate percentages ? 39% means 4 out of every 10 women in the nation does not care if their leader is a woman or not. That clearly disproves your statement that women as a whole care about the gender of CEOs and world leaders. Also it seems anyways the left is more concerned with race now then gender anyways.

Also women don't want to live in a world where all the world leaders and CEOs are male. THATS. why they don't want to be 'passive'. Thats a very blanket assumption here. You will need to explain why 39% of women voted for Trump over clinton in 2016

It’s in the definition of the word. Passive— adj accepting or allowing what happens or what others do, without active response or resistance. The definition does not state always. You are trying to claim because someone has some trait they always behave that way, is not true. If you you don’t mean accepting what others do without active response or resistance, then you probably mean “agreeable”, which has a different meaning than “passive”. Probably agreeable yea. But also to circle back, I don'…

Being passive means accepting that someone else’s is always better and that your ideas don’t matter means you’re not contributing much. It is better to try and be wrong sometimes than to always roll over and always passively accept being wrong. I never said being passive means you always differ to other people. Please read better. And if you are passive, you’re not contributing to the project This is a straw man. Nice try.

It’s “resolving conflicts” by conceding: rolling over to abandon your own beliefs or needs in order to simply “keep the peace”....It doesn’t really solve the is a poor move for solving problems. In a professional environment, two sides continuously arguing doesn't lead anywhere, and doesn't solve any problems at all. by actively refusing the conflict, rather conceding and soothing the idiot’s ego. I think you don't get it. In software development, usually more senior engineers review your code b…

Being passive doesn't help you become CEO or prime minister. And that matters why ? Do you realize many people, men or women, can never become CEO's or prime ministers due to many different factors, nor want to ? Why do you care about who becomes a CEO ? Like focusing on the top 0.000001% seems a bit odd.

but how does being passive benefit the women themselves? Being passive allows you to calmly resolve conflicts and avoid unneeded arguments. I have found in my team of software engineers, women tend to spend less time getting their code reviewed and more time improving their code because they focus more on achieving the end result and less on fighting for ego or who's actually right.

A woman with an IG model body but a wholesome personality. Preferably addicted to cosmetic surgery.

The bigger question is if you are looking at this from a gender / sociology perspective or a sexual appeal perspective. If we look at it from the gender perspective, gender is a social construct. Men can paint their nails and still call themselves masculine. However, if we are talking about who has sex appeal, that's a pre-defined, biological set of traits. There's a reason for who women label in men as sex symbols and who they don't.

women get all the shit ones. Who said they are shit ones ? Being nurturing and passive can have benefits over being aggressive and assertive. As a man I actually enjoy having female friends more because of this.

You really believe China’s numbers? Ha! I mean many asian countries , taiwan, vietnam, thailand, all had similar outcomes and took similar measures. If it was the only place in the region with similar numbers, sure, that would be suspicious. The idea that China is the only government in the world that can be untruthful is also a myth. Just look at what New York did with covering up sending covid patients into nursing homes.

China has only 62 cases per one million people, the lowest in the entire world. Not understanding your edit here.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/16/yelp-data-shows-60percent-of-business-closures-due-to-the-coronavirus-pandemic-are-now-permanent.html Yes, in person businesses are closing due to the pandemic. Mean while businesses that can operate virtually are doing great. The problem with the USA is it's not accepting of technology. There's anti-vaxxers, anti-public transport, anti-environment. Countries like China or Australia have handled the pandemic much better due to centralized government and support of…

wtf is a statistical outlier anyway, meaningless words and concept This post is discussing the needed funds to raise a child. Needs are absolute, there are no outliers from needs. Your argument would be valid if this was discussing what is ideal to raise a child, but it isn't. For example, we cannot live indefinitely without food. There will be no one who has lived without eating, no outliers.

We no longer participate in an economy that supports entrepreneurship and small businesses. Have you not been aware of so many tech startups going IPO lately ? In what way does the economy actually not support small businesses ?

I think you misinterpreted your linked source. They aren't saying what is required to raise a child, they are taking an average of what people spend on their children. The idea of what a child needs is a highly subjective topic. Lebron James grew up in housing projects with his father in prison, look where he is today. He didn't have what much of this source states is being spent on by parents. I do not really see a solution to this either as actual wages in terms of wealth have not increased si…

Sometimes it can be a bad mother influence. My mother used to caudle me and protect me from anyone else. She insisted to do so many things for me, and to take care of conflicts for me at school. This created in me a deference to a female figure, so when it came time to dating, I had a lot of problems being assertive and taking the lead. This got better though once i moved out for college.

Depends how you define sex work. Some sex workers aren't exclusively sex work. They do a combination of things. If my daughter becomes very wealthy as a sex worker, I wouldn't be opposed to it at all. Since I make a good salary myself I don't see how she would end up as a poor sex worker.

Are you referring to casual sex or any sex (casual, relationships, and marriage )? If it's casual sex, sure I would agree to it. But if it's no sex at all, then no, I wouldn't do it. I already make over a quarter of a million a year and have a girlfriend, so there's no reason for me to simply skip out on sex for more money.

Atheists can still have morals.. you don’t need to believe in God even to know right from wrong.. Again, morals do not require religion, the belief of sin, purity , and impurity does require religion . If you had a daughter would you want some guy referring to her in the way you just as you described? This is not a moral question here. A woman can experience sexual pleasure. Not sure if you are aware of this. As long as my daughter is not having her consent violated, she can do whatever she want…

I don’t think you necessarily have to be religious to have morals.. You aren't talking about morals (right or wrong), you are referring to purity and impurity, which are largely religious or the very least spiritual concepts. it’s a show of disrespect for yourself and the other person.. It’s a lack of honor for your being.. The idea of sex being a dishonor to oneself is a religious idea (sin). There's no other real basis for it. And even then some religious people actually end up being promiscuo…

end up with someone tall dark and handsome, but I married [husband's name] instead!". Do you feel this is a valid comparison in her case? Or is she being overly picky (as in her husband is attractive, but not incredible). Is she attractive herself?

would engage in sex with no love attached to it in my personal opinion has no self respect.. It’s very sad actually, on both accounts.. Well that's understandable if you are religious to believe that, but otherwise in secular society, sex and love are two different things. Like without the threat of punishment for immorality, sexual attraction has very little to do with emotional attraction, for either gender.

So who has a lower self worth? The prostitute or the person paying for it.. one is making money the other is spending money. The prostitute hands down has a higher value. But I was claiming women who are extraordinarily opposed to sex work have a low value because they feel threatened by it for some reason. I did not claim sex workers have a low value.

If it's empowering, why don't parents encourage their children to do sex work as a career? Why are fathers terrified that their daughter may turn to sex work instead of other fields? Why are you using a parent's expectation of their child as a measure of what effect some profession or behavior has on someone ? That seems pretty illogical, given parents force their expectations on their kids which result in them hating what they ended up doing in life, or just completely rebelling against it. Lik…

If by standard we mean what a person is sexually attracted to, which is totally instinctive, subconcious and biologically controlled.... No, standard means the degree of sexual appeal someone has. For example, say you are attracted to a big ass. Obviously, there's a wide range of whats considered a big ass. Having a high standards would be like saying a girl needs t have an IG model ass to be considered attractive. Obviously, you can still be attracted to big asses but lower your standard to a m…

"Self-worth" in general is a bad concept, because it implies we live in some isolated island with only ourselves. In reality, we live in the world, full of people. How we feel about ourselves is 50% how we see ourselves and 50% how others see us. Building self worth is a combination of finding things you love, improving them , but also having an environment of support and positive feedback. Take your artist friend for example. Although he might not be getting lots of girls, it's very likely he A…

There are also male prostitutes. I don't get why no one talks about this. But it seems low value women is still a new topic.

The desire to buy isn’t coming from a genuine place and out curiosity for most people. It comes from a lack genuine human connection and the lack of help afforded to these people. I disagree unless you are referring to long-term prostitutes like sugar babies or some arrangement. Short term prostitution is about creating artificial high value experiences for men who can't create it themselves, like having sex with a super attractive woman without even trying.

Fucking exactly. It always boggles my mind that we’ll have long posts hating on women got capitalizing on their assets. It’s human nature, if there’s a demand for our supply we’re gonna fucking sell it. Most of those haters are ultimately low value women. Actual, attractive women aren't bothered by sex workers.

I don't get why this seems contradictory, more freedom means more access to do what you want. In spite of this, we now see millions of women flocking to sites like OnlyFans to make their living, even with an array of different options available to them. Because now there's less judgement for doing so. We live in a much more sexual culture now than 25-30 years ago. It’s not empowering to be a sex worker. Why do you believe this ? Empowering is sort of a subjective term but the point is sex work e…
