Do we campaign for more men to look into pre-nups before marriage? And that anyone who says you shouldn’t need one is potentially abusive? Its too bad they are completely useless.

Ozzy Frantz is the writer of "No Seriously what about the Menz" a/one of the blogs on the Good Men project, the one who feminists consistently held up and said "see, we care"

I think as the disfavored(underdog?/less powerful?) movement, MRAs would have to stand up on an issue from the other side of the fence for it to be an effective 'olive branch', other wise it is just backing the normal issues and if you were to step forward on it first it looks very conceited to expect the other side to step up as well.

I don't think there is a false accusation hysteria here. It is also my opinion that rape hysteria is running quite rampant through mainstream culture, and being nudged, prodded, and when necessary shoved along by feminists.

Because obviously those people doing feminist hate speech aren't REAL feminists, and those fringe groups don't speak for all feminist because its a broad and diverse movement. #StandardFeministreply

My Arbitrary day Santa sent me that book, I tried to read it, I really gave it a chance, but the author is the epitome of people I can't help but hate. That would be okay but the first and second chapters are nothing but stories from his douchy life.

IANAL I'd be wary of it, the common law marriage would probably date to a certain cut off(3 years co-habituating as an example) there-for your paper marriage would be invalid in that scenario. This is all just a guess though, we don't have common law marriages where i am anymore.

I don't know if I've said this before but pre-nups are worthless now, all the wifey has to do is say "that is fair!" and the judge throws it out like last weeks Kleenex.

The "octopus stuff" is actually a reaction of a fairly sexually open society having puritan sexual norms forced on it. When the US took over they imposed their morality on media,(not being able to show genitals) artists reacted by using phallic objects as stand ins. It became a staple of the culture(sexual reinforcement will do that)

It is not a step at all, it's lifted directly from the 'dear colleague' letter. How many men, do you think, will venture into the Women's resource center? Is a staff member of a "Women's Resource Center" going to give two fucks about male victims? (no)

What I find interesting about this is there was actually mention of it in the mainstream. The View discussed it, Whoppi(sorry if thats not the right spelling) even played the reverse the gender card. Everyone else thaught basic the opinion its okay because of her reputation.

and women NEVER ask for things in a divorce simply to spite the man(depriving him of his precious [car, boat, model train, Transformers, Hotwheels, Beanie Babies]) Exceptions do happen, but it's rare for a marriage to end up with a wealth transfer from the woman to the man.

I probably mis-used the quotes on pedophiles(I meant to include those that get lumped in but aren't technically pedos). To answer your question, obviously if they are breaking the law(viewing child porn or molesting children), their attractions are considered problematic(sick). I do understand there are a minority that do manage urges without creating victims, but minorities are minorities.

It is actually a Paraphillia which is 'stronger' than a fetish(IRC you can take it or leave it but you prefer it this way), but 'weaker than an orientation. Most "pedophiles" are can also attracted to appropriately aged partners, the ones who can't usually(if they are in the system) get chemical castration for for their own happiness as well as other's.

they don't and that's the point. There has also been some doubts regarding what will we do the money - I thought we made it pretty clear from the get-go, but some people seem to still having doubts about it! If we don't hit our goal, our money goes back to the backers. If we (hopefully!) reach our goal, out of the money we raise a total of 4% will go to Indiegogo as per their terms of use. From the remaining 96%, whatever money is left unspent from the production/administrative costs will go to …

I would imagine the thing with teachers is more about the trend of parents 'not feeling safe' with male teachers and how easy it has become to end a male teacher's career based solely on accusations.
