As a female I absolutely agree with you. I am taking the time to while single to learn about my toxicity and digging deeper into the root cause of it and will be seeking therapy for it. You are validated by your annoyance and it’s an embarrassment to the females who are actually putting in the work to help themselves to not be toxic in the future.

Congratulations 🎉 She’s an idiot. What type woman doesn’t show up for her kids? Obviously, your kids are where they belong.

Have y’all filed for divorce yet? What is her reasoning for not letting your child go on the family vacation? She’s hurting her own child with that decision.

Not a red flag at all on you. Sounds like you were possibly dealing with a Narcissist. I’m sorry for what you have endured but coming from a female I wouldn’t consider that a red flag. I hope this helps.

OP, I just wanted to apologize to you this morning. It was laid on my heart after sleeping on it and praying about it. I owe you an apology. I’m sorry. Please forgive me if you so choose. I spoke before knowing some of the details and that was wrong of me.

I didn’t file for the modification. He did. So I had to go. When you are served a petition it’s a subpoena for court basically. He switched jobs and was not making even half what he was so he needed it modified. I do provide for my child alone. And, no, he doesn’t see our child or his son with another woman before me that he was married to. She actually passed away in the middle of our divorce. I put our divorce off for his sons sake. Now, his son lives with his fathers parents who have custodia…

I get it. I really do. I advocate for men too. There’s a lot that’s unfair. I am the type that I don’t want you starving either and we are going to figure this out. I am a single mother. I don’t receive CS. I don’t harass him about it. He wanted to go to court for a modification, we went. He got it modified to fit what he makes on paper. Still doesn’t pay that. I’m not worried about it. He leaves me alone, I leave him alone. I chose peace over money. He seems to have started a new life and I am …

Oh I may have missed that part where he asked what for and she refused to tell him. Yikes. That’s unfair.

Hey man! I get it. I understand where you’re coming from. I’m a female and I am in here to learn and also to support men. Men don’t get the respect, support and praise they deserve. I am not your stereotypical woman who has her nails done, hair appointments no-weekly, waxings, facials, etc etc. I don’t do all that bullshit. OP actually gave me more insight into the situation and I apologized bro. The man has every reason to listen to his intuition. Something does sound off. I apologize for offen…

I definitely see your point. I apologize. You do have a great sense of intuition and absolutely should listen to that.

It’s part of providing a roof over the child’s head.

No you should not ask about your child’s wellbeing. Maybe times are just difficult right now. Maybe she had to buy a new washing machine or car part that has put her in a bind. What if she has to buy school supplies and clothes? I mean don’t jump to worst case scenario.

I have taken accountability. I seeked a medical professional and yes it was my hormones. I had to have a procedure done and take my daily medication on time. Now my home is happy and healthy and thriving again. But I get it, most women are not like me.

Oh but when a man tells you that hormones are likely a factor you don’t attack them 🙄

Hormones are a bitch. And yes, while you worked to provide for the family, we as women need more than that especially right after having a baby. Our bodies look and feel different. Staying at home sounds like the perfect time to the bread winner but it’s not when you can’t get a good nights sleep uninterrupted. Sleep deprivation can be damaging. Then there’s the nightly routine of cooking dinner and cleaning after. Plus laundry all while trying to keep a baby fed and happy. There’s a lot that go…

Yes especially when she feels like she’s not receiving help and support from her partner.
