Only if a man does it. Didn't you hear? Women don't do sexual harassment.

I think in the case the father wants it and the woman doesn't, the option to do as you suggested should be available, but the woman still needs the final say. For now. I support research into artificial wombs, and learning how to transfer a baby into one, for when the mother doesn't want but the father does.

The first full length feature film was Snow White, with a female lead, and a female villain, and male supporting cast. You could say they're just going back to their roots. However, I definitely agree with you on the Aladdin thing. The point there was to tell a story that was already written by someone else.

Me personally, I purposely attempt to not do it. Most of the time I'm successful. The rest of the time, my bf is kind enough to call me out on it.

What's even worse is the number of women who do this without even realizing they're doing it. Edit to add: I am female, and I'm constantly watching to make sure I don't act ways I don't want to act, because my instinct tells me to act like that x.x

That's because making women fat is part of the patriarchy. Since being fat is bad for a person, and the patriarchy only wants what's bad for women. /s

If you're referring to "gaslighting", it was a psychology term before it was a feminist one. He is using it correctly here, she was making him think he was going insane by telling him lies about what he was doing paired with her doing things to leave physical evidence of those lies.

There is much variety in the penis. I have never seen the same penis both cut and uncut to know for sure, but I have seen some cut penises that looked the same as some uncut penises when erect. (I was a webcam model for 10 years, so I've seen a lot of erect penises).

Fair enough. For the past two years or so, I've been mentally replacing "female empowerment" with "subjugate the menz" when it's radical feminist related (and sometimes when it's not).

I kinda see both sides on this. I read about five comments off the top. Men's dress codes are way too strict. We need to loosen men's dress codes. I leave it to men to decide what is fair here. Men saying that a woman with a busty chest and slim arms/midriff can find an appropriate button up have no clue. It's as bad as having wide shoulders and trying to find a shirt that fits your shoulders without sagging at your tummy. I am lucky enough to have neither problem, but I've had friends with eith…

It's a terrible situation, there's no doubt about that. But I fail to see what fathers having issues with child support has to do with a fictional state where fertile women are forced to breed children.

I do not agree with this. Instead, I think men should get their own birth control. There's a tea that's supposed to work really well. There's no reason men can't be on birth control having sex with a woman who is on birth control once the male birth control is really out. Instead of taking away options for women, let's add options for men. I DO think that a woman who lies about being on birth control should be barred from asking for child support. She wanted the kid, she tricked the man into fat…

On the one hand, I definitely agree that most men don't want to rape women, and implying that they do is completely and totally offensive. On the other hand, feminists have expanded the definition of rape so much, that I really hope they're teaching you what they actually mean when they say "rape".

I said he should be allowed to. Not that it was the right thing for him to do, but that he shouldn't get in trouble if he does. I think self defense is acceptible, no qualifications. I also think pre-emptive strikes are not self defense, and that "the best defense is a good offense" is only acceptible in a sporting match. I acknowledge that when retaliation happens, the initial attacker tends to escalate things. I believe that all people should keep that in mind. But in the heat of the moment, i…

What are you waiting for? Evidence that men vs women in a game show or chess tournament happened? Or Evidence that men won against women in a game show or chess tournament? Because I basically live under a rock when it comes to TV and even I know that the game shows have men and women playing against each other, and that sometimes men win and sometimes women win. I've never even heard of chess tournaments being segregated along gender lines, and I'm fairly sure most of the chess winners are male…

Babies will die if they lose more than a tiny bit of blood. Over 100 babies are killed every year in the US from circumcision. Don't know the statistics on how many others don't die but do lose their entire penis. (source: http://www.circinfo.org/USA_deaths.html) Circumcision also causes severe trauma to the baby receiving it. The baby doesn't understand anything other than "you're hurting the most sensitive part of my body". There is 0 health benefits. Oh, there's a myth that it prevents std's.…

Jail means she'll have trouble finding a job, which leaves the guy she's lied to left paying alimony forever. Let's not do that to him. Instead, he should decide what she can do to make it up to him. I find having a fling during the breakup phase of an intermittent relationship to be a gray area where cheating is concerned... but then, my partner is polyamorous, so I'm hardly one to pass judgements on monogamous choices.

The MRA youtubers I watched voiced their support for the male victims in general, and specific ones when one came forward, but that was a long time ago. Thing is, every time an MRA voiced support, they'd hear "but it happens to women so much more often!" There was one charity to support the victims of war crimes somewhere in Africa. They had more male victims to help than female ones, but everyone who donated wanted it to go mostly to the women. If they even mentioned that men needed help too, d…

Or, the person who insists that <me stating that I know what I want in the previous paragraph means that the next paragraph stating men are beautiful only applies when men are giving me what I want> is deliberately misrepresenting what I wrote, and I'm just trying to set the record straight. Not sure where I claimed to be a genius? All I claimed was that the two sentences being in two different paragraphs was because they were two different trains of thought. Which is what paragraph breaks are intended to convey.

" You are implying you know exactly what YOU want out of a man." And I recognize that men are going to want something out of me... People get into relationships with the expectations that both parties are going to benefit. "Language like 'what I can get out of [this]' is very suspicious." When that's what's emphasized, I agree with you. I buried that comment in the middle of my post. That "gem" as you call it is the previous paragraph. Therefore, it's part of a different thought. It has nothing to do with my view of men as a positive force. Why are you so determined to believe I have a selfish view? Why do you want to crucify someone who is on your own side?

"Women, in general lack empathy for men." Ever watch a group of kids? Most kids don't have empathy for anyone else. They have to be taught the concept that if something would hurt them, it will hurt other people. Then some of them have to be taught the concept that hurting other people is bad, regardless of how they personally feel about the other person. The fact that today's women don't have empathy for men, well, it's not unique to women. Men and women have been taught that men can't be hurt.…

"Your story about the mostly feminist so worried about MGM sounds sketchy as can be. Like a carefully contrived emotional piece designed to leave the reader incapable of any emotion other than awe." She has borderline, and knows that I'm not a feminist, so it's entirely possible that she crafted it that way. But she seemed honest when she was ranting about it. They are nitpicking. You didn't put the "to do the same job" in the main post. They are simply pointing out that as a whole, women are paid less than men. There's good reasons for this, as I'm sure you meant.

" Also I don't see motivation for women to be 'for' men's rights " We have brothers, sons, nephews. We have male significant others who have been abused by other women. Why shouldn't we care what happens to them? (note: we are poly-amorous, so there's no jealousy or cheating in this example). My bf's other gf has a baby son by another man. For paper towels, I have two kinds. Viva are for tough messes. Cheapest I can find for everything else. Actual cleaning, we use an off-brand version of clorox wipes, and if it's a larger spill I just grab a hand towel. We have tons of hand towels. Shoot, if you switch to a rag bin, you'll be helping the environment a little. For toilet paper, I've found the walmart brand that they store right next to the charmin to be comparable (we use the ultra strong). If you want soft, Quilted Northern's com…

All cleaning products have a store-brand version. Switch to that. Dish soap, I use Ajax, and it works oh so very well. Stain removal, most biological stains (except grease) can be taken out with hydrogen peroxide. Verified to work on grass, blood, tomato sauce. Pretty sure it would also work on other fruit and vegetable stains. Grease, just spot-wash with dish soap in the sink before throwing it in the basket. First of all, I agree with the premise. Legalizing sex work would be good for both the sex workers and their clients. Decent arguments, but needs evidence for the claims. The only one that I doubt is that lack of sex makes men dumber... some of the best thinkers had practically zero sex. But then, they didn't have much of a sex drive, so I guess it's not lack of sex that makes them dumber, but lack of satisfaction. So maybe there is a point there. Still think it would be good to find some source…

My dad, who taught me what makes a good person, wore pink shirts. And my mother wasn't home to dress him, this was his choice. Pink or yellow, usually. I don't think colors should be gender-reserved. Let him wear them. If he gets teased, help him deal with it then. But usually when a kid shows that they don't care what other kids think about something, they get respect for it.

Any job that is based on physical characteristics will by default not be equal opportunity. Whether it's biased in favor of men or women will depend on which physical characteristics are required. The thing about period blood, is that it is blood. As in biohazard. Freebleeding is unhygenic. So the prison gives them tampons already. Problem is, they don't give enough. Women need to change their tampon every 4-6 hours, so they need 4-6 tampons per day, every day of their period. I think they are capped at 20, which is fine for the very few whose periods only last 4 days, or are very light for 5 days, but the average woman will get toxic shock syndrome trying to make 20 tampons last her whol…
