I’m not into the ethics of who should get prioritization first based of profession. People didn’t choose their profession basing off the idea of who will get vaccinated first in the future. A life is life, equal in all. Like you said millions of people are dying, everyone will have to get vaccinated eventually. No reason to deny them when they will have to get vaccinate eventually. Florida gonna Florida. Edit: Also to mention doses are usually pre-registered to names by appointment and have a expiration period.
