Was not expecting to see a comment like this 😧 Now I have to know details?

I have never read such gospel. Old unmarried men = Peter Pans 4 Life

Their goal is to use the younger woman like a straight man’s version of a beard to trick society into thinking he is brimming with youth despite the rapidly receding hairline and manboobs that testify otherwise

Why the hell would a man think this would make a woman sorry to lose him??

The most revolting low-quality man in Hollywood, hands down. Could be the physical manifestion of the Tinder app

It may be politically incorrect, but you are right, whether women are socialized to be catty, naturally that way, or society prevents females from expressing themselves in openly aggressive ways so to do so they turn to passive aggressiveness I’ve been treated like crap by men, but I’ve never had the “pack of bitches” mean girl treatment from them like women sometimes do

Ooh I love your cut off statement. So classy and mature I agree with what you have said, if a man ghosts me I never give him another chance to be invited back into my life; however, if one ever came back at a later stage in life wanting to reconnect after respectfully breaking things off, it would be a much different issue. I know several couples who had dated in the past and circumstances and their life paths were incongruent at the time, yet reconnected later in life and ended up married. Stra…

All those lockdown breakups have caused a bumper crop of single, douchebag crawlbacks I’ve had three in the past two months and they were all from 3-11(!!!) years ago

Omg you’re right. And Marvelous Mrs. Maisel follows the same formula: attractive woman and attractive (or more attractive) men. For the sake of historic accuracy I suppose 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/07/20 02:42 AM

The biggest delusions I’ve seen in men have revolved around the perceived quality of their humor. Apart from my own father I can count the number of truly funny men I’ve known on one hand - and I don’t even need the entire hand 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/07/20 02:15 AM

It’s true, though, now that you mention it. It was always an attractive woman matched with an attractive man like Darrin and Sabrina in Bewitched and Jeannie and her high achieving astronaut...

Seriously, who wrote this thing!? Would they lovingly speak of the “cultural relativity” of slavery and murder as well??
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 08:17 AM

Stick to your guns. Virtually every woman in modern dating has been sucked into a trap without even realizing how it came to pass - like a frog in boiling water. Mistakes and misjudgments do not diminish a woman’s value. We all do the best we can with the experience and knowledge we have at any given time. It’s all a growth process

He is only doing this because HE has been rejected and missed out on women in his life
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 04:43 AM

If they are truly interested there won’t even be a need to confirm, they will just be there when and where they said they would be
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 03:09 AM
23

Is it wrong that I laughed at “they just wanna slap everything with their dumb penis” lmao that is going to get me through the night....
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 03:06 AM
27

It sounds suspiciously like he couldn’t respond to confirm because he was with another woman
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 03:01 AM
3

Absolutely not. He was in the wrong in being inconsiderate of your time. You aren’t a puppet who has no life who can jump to whenever its convenient for him. And especially on a first time meetup....I wouldn’t reschedule. The only response to that is that you are no longer interested in continuing
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 02:55 AM
3

Agreed. Sometimes their view of reality is so absolutely skewed that they believe their own narrative of victimhood and are truly not conscious of how their behavior impacts others. They are too caught up in themselves and their insecurities and pride to see what is right infront of them. The reality is too much for their ego to confront
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 02:49 AM

You should be proud of yourself for acknowledging the problem and working on yourself to fix it. So few people are willing to do that
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 02:28 AM

Omg it’s so awkward what does that even DO for them?!?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 12:07 AM

It seriously seems like there is an inverse correlation between the number of sex partners they have had versus their skill in sex. I guess the ones who tear through massive numbers of women don’t actually spend enough time with any single one of them to develop skill apart from jackhammering away in uncomfortable porn positions to boost their egos

My father’s most father behavior: complained for days when I colored my hair pink in college ——> complained harder a few years later when I decided to get rid of the pink hair “but it’s your signature!!” There is literally no winning

One guy who had been active on Tinder told me the only matches he ever got were bots and women who revealed they were prostitutes or wanting a sugar daddy on the first date. I had no idea what to make of this or what kind of behavior he is displaying online to get these results

I was semi-involved once with a man who seemed obsessed with emphasizing that I was “clean” and it took me a while to realize this was a reflection of how he viewed most of womankind in general of being filthy, unworthy, and beneath the notice or respect of his precious penis

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/06/20 08:01 AM

Omg, the man is just 35, too. Can you imagine how bad he will be ten years from now??

I agree that there is no reason to entertain a man’s effort to keep you, there is no need for you to continue contact or answer once you have stated that you do not want to continue with him in your life, but I do believe it is common courtesy to just send a text at least saying that if he has invested time, energy, and money into you. And I’m also talking about doing this for decent men, in my above comments I said there is no need to engage with a NVM or LVM depending on his behavior

Sorry, sir, being boring is my fetish
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/05/20 10:49 PM

Well, I WAS planning on being boring, but if you don’t want me to that changes things.... 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/05/20 10:48 PM
2

If he is sending dick pics or becoming abusive when things don’t go his way, no response is needed on the part of the woman, I agree; however if you are looking for different things or some conflict or red flag comes up, a simple break off is all that is needed
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/05/20 09:31 PM
12

Thank you! We can’t expect respectful communication and closure from men if we don’t exhibit these behaviors ourselves. Breaking off a relationship correctly is part of relationship skills, and everyone needs to level up on this instead of contributing to the ghosting climate
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/05/20 02:58 AM
24

Sorry, but I don’t consider any testimonial to be high quality if it promotes “ghosting.” Unless there is appalling or abusive behavior, it is low-quality stonewalling, immature communication. A high value woman would communicate to a man that she no longer wanted to continue seeing him and move on
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/05/20 02:03 AM

What are your thoughts on men who seem to be obsessed with hating on the MeToo movement? I’ve been experiencing that a lot lately. It makes me wonder why they are so defensive about a movement to eradicate inappropriate behavior against women
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/05/20 02:51 AM

Dressing well and putting in effort is a sign of self- respect and respect for others

This. I dated one who was a few inches shorter and he wouldn’t hold my hand while we were standing or let me walk too close to him because it emphasized the height difference

It’s always “nagging” or “I don’t want any drama!”....well it isn’t nagging or drama until they refuse to respond to concerns and get weird about it and cause the situation to escalate

YES! I usually have a fully made up face whenever I leave my apartment and dress pretty well. One day I had to run out quickly to the store for an ingredient and had bare face with sweats on. I was barely acknowledged by the store employees and grunted at by the cashier who would barely look at me. Ended up going back to the same store a few hours later with my usual done-up appearance and the treatment I received then was light years away from what I experienced earlier in the day - by the SAME…

The “long hard road” line makes me think there was a lot of infidelity and broken trust involved in this relationship
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/05/20 02:44 AM

All of the social pressure is on women to “trap a man” before we become too old. If a man doesn’t propose or commit he is just “taking his time” and “sowing his wild oats” 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/05/20 02:43 AM
19

If a man is enthusiastic about having a life with you, why would there even be any pressure??? I’ve never once felt pressure when it came to doing something I wanted to do anyway, so why would this be any different?

Can they really see that Western men are far less marriageable. At least men from other areas dress well, don’t become morbidly obese, and are far more willing to marry, get advanced degrees, and support their families financially
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/05/20 01:42 AM

During her divorce from my father, my mother would get upset and lash out telling me that no man would ever want me and that I would die alone....I also presumed some kind of projection, but I mean damn....
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/05/20 12:20 AM
12

I’m American and have absolutely no idea myself. The horrible results are there for everyone to see, but still women continue to do it. I think some women wrongfully believe that getting pregnant will encourage their boyfriend to commit, but it always seems to achieve just the opposite. my parents always lectured me on the irresponsibility of living with or having children with a man outside of marriage. Of course, a lot of it probably boils down to pure laziness, as well

Why do I have the feeling he has been threatened by her high-status career for a while and has been looking for any opportunity to take her down a notch...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/05/20 12:46 AM

Agreed. Men are roasted on this forum all the time for this exact same behavior. It shows bad character no matter which gender is doing it
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/05/20 09:51 PM

It’s true. The children of one of my close friends had a dramatic improvement in their behavior when she finally had enough of their man child father and left him. He was an incredibly bad influence on the entire family structure

Literally just remembered the Anne of Cleves mistake as I woke up today. I think it was the Six Wives of Henry VIII by Alison Weir that describes the Robin Hood costume and the party he rode out on. I think she remained in a weird but benign roommate situation for the rest of her days after she triggered the guy at any rate. Also, he literally chose her based on a portrait that was presented to him, so he was a precursor to sad men who send cash to cam girls 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/05/20 05:28 PM

Maybe it’s a double standard, but I feel the same way. I love video games, but if a man says that he‘s a gamer it’s a huge turn off for me. Maybe because with women it isn’t an all-consuming identity for us like it is for males. I always peep into the Game Stop I frequent before going in to see if the lone female employee is working there. She seems so much more normal and mature than the male employees
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/05/20 06:35 AM

You should read up on how disgusted Katherine of Aragon was when, at middle age, he dressed in a Robin Hood costume and rode out to surprise her as she was being delivered to him. Apparently that was a young man’s courtship game at the time and it appalled people that mid-life crisis Henry would pull that Peter Pan shit
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/05/20 05:58 AM

Also, why hasn’t he had that debt balance his mother ran up transferred to accounts under her name?

It’s true, they love camgirls because they are a distant blank slate that they can project their fantasies onto. They cannot do that with a real woman with real needs and desires that may come into conflict with their own

I dated an older man who once had a text pop up on his phone from some chick calling him “Daddy“ in it. I was instantly appalled. He had given out pre-creep vibes before then, but that cinched it. The real question is how do THEY not feel weird being called that? Especially the ones who have children of their own 🤮
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/05/20 11:33 PM

How any woman with a shred of dignity can call a man “daddy” has always baffled the hell out of me

Why do I have the feeling she will do just the opposite and call him up apologizing for upsetting him...

1,000,000 times THIS. Bonus points if they wear it backwards 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/05/20 10:37 PM

Within the next twelve hours, he will send another string of texts groveling for her to speak to him 🙄

Had the same situation with a guy who finally vanished for good. Every time I would confront him about his disappearances he would cutely reply “well it was IMPLIED that I was angry with what you said” when I slapped him with “the only thing that was implied was your lazy, childish communication” he was literally speechless. I had no idea what to do with a middle-aged pouting stonewaller
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/05/20 01:07 AM

Hottest guy I’ve ever seen in my life asked me on a date and I realized through his texts that he thought “and” was spelled “an“ - he was a male dental hygienist. Wtf was he just so cute all his life that his teachers just gave him a pass all the way through college despite his stupidity!?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/05/20 01:02 AM

I had a coworker who worked part time as a personal trainer. He was a low key predator who used the job to prey on overweight and vulnerable women who started a gym membership to better their lives at their lowest points. He would lovebomb and manipulate them into showering him with sex and money and then would abruptly withdraw and ghost them, leaving them in shambles and borderline stalking him for answers and closure he would refuse to give. I have a feeling this is a common scenario in gyms
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/05/20 12:31 AM

You and me both, girl. Plenty of time to sit around and obsess over that nonsense
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/05/20 12:24 AM

I have been asked by every single man I have dated if I liked being choked. I will never not find it slightly disturbing that a man would want to strangle his sex partner or that he believes a woman would find being abused desireable
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/05/20 09:51 PM
31

As horrible as that is, it’s 100 times worse when they pull at your hand to keep putting it on their penis even after you’ve pulled it away. What the hell are they thinking with that....
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/05/20 09:46 PM
7

I have the same experience - and with relationship therapists no less. The internet has provided me with much more realistic, assertive advice and strategies
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/04/20 09:51 PM
11

The ones who were cute in youth have no concept that they’ve aged out of the system, and are so delusional that they still maintain the personality of a hot young thing and think it’s still appropriate to act like a boyish flirt who can still pull in inappropriately young females. THAT is what makes them creepy
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/04/20 06:41 AM
10

I always respond to men’s texts with phone calls. It sets the standard of communication. I also tell them upfront that I prefer calls, as texting has caused problems in every single relationship I have had. Doing that first phone call yourself after they initiate contact will take the fear out of a voice call for them

And the lisp...I was just looking it up last night and he actually did get married a year ago. There is also a buzzfeed article up about the episode where he pats himself on the back for breaking up with a woman face to face like an adult for the first time after that aired. I also couldn’t help but notice how he let slip how he had a long pattern of ditching women for the same petty reason in the same way when he said “I’ve been through these conversations so many times before that I know what …

I guarantee the show’s producers urged him to meet with Jessica, because I was surprised by that as well. Even though it was needy and weak of her to chase after him, I had to applaud her for taking him to task on his behavior. Also noted how he called behaving like a gentleman with chivalry his “strategy.” He was repellant

I said something similar to a guy and I don’t even believe in abortion, but sometimes they just really need an answer like that shoved in their face!😂

“Player” is a convenient and socially acceptable term for “sexual predator”

I’m 32 and I’ve pretty much completely resigned myself to giving up. I’m the only woman of this age I know that has not been married or had children

I have the exact opposite experience? I date foreign men exclusively (mostly Middle Eastern) and one of the main factors is how much more direct they are than American men and you seem to know where you stand with them much more clearly
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/04/20 05:33 AM

THIS! And yes, like you I also felt like it was an affront to my integrity and motives
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/04/20 06:16 PM

It sounds wild, but I had a similar experience with a man who manipulated and gaslighted me to such an extent that I began to self harm and question my entire existence. He literally created an entirely false identity for himself, from using a false name to passing off his brother’s career and identity as his own. It was years ago and to this day I will never know the full extent of the lies and manufactured drama. It truly haunts me
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/04/20 11:40 PM

I’m in a city in TN now and have considered moving to another area for the same reason. Just know that it is nearly impossible in the south to find a man over his late 20s who does not have children and the few men who are educated and unattached have an inflated sense of entitlement due to the sheer amount of pickmes throwing themselves at them because of their relative rarity in the region. They offer no commitment or effort because they simply don’t have to
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/04/20 10:30 PM

I just had the same experience with a 44 year old fuckboy (high value career, low value standards) who was clearly baffled for over a month over why I would not have sex with him immediately. Before he ghosted me after I tried to hold him accountable for some of his behavior, he finally concluded that it was a “game” that I had been playing with him in making him wait to become physical 🙄
