Okay. Most people I know would say that dating includes the initial one-on-one hanging out, with the relationship only being formalized after "having the talk" (i.e. the "are you seeing anyone else" where both can decide to be exclusive if they want). The initial dating is just having fun and getting to know the person while keeping in mind the (unspoken, implicit) possibility of a relationship. Maybe it's an age thing.

When love is for the highest bidder, there can be no trust. Without trust, there can be no love.

Some people will interpret any one-on-one meeting as a date. What is it you do when asking someone out that distinguishes it from a friendly hang out?

The thing is, unless she's had hormone therapy she's going to look incredibly feminine for a guy, which is probably a disadvantage. The average guy would make a fairly ugly (masculine) pretend-girl, and would probably have similar trouble attracting male attention.

It's entirely possible for friendship to be mutually beneficial. So long as the girl doesn't expect the guy to pick up her dinner tab, and the guy gets to use her as a sounding board for his dating life too, there's nothing wrong with expanding your social circle.

I can't tell if this is witty satire or genuine crazy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
