I really don't give a shit either way, but in a skim of replies, it seems like nobody really kept you in check on the melodrama, and simply vibed on the monologue instead. Some people do well in a 9-5, some people don't. Just do whatever brings you the most satisfaction. For you, it might be what you're currently doing (though I have my doubts). But for someone else, it might be something else. The topic in the OP seems tangential to TRP principles at best, and at worst, it seems to suggest that…

This post reads like you’re trying really hard to convince yourself that you enjoy your job. It exudes a “trying too hard” vibe, like you really wanted to live the “laptop lifestyle”, and after discovering you didn’t have the skills for it, you needed to convince yourself that it wasn’t all that great anyway. You reveal these sour grapes when you make unsubstantiated negative claims (your claim that “the only way you can make it is if you’re a black-hat selling something useless”). You work with…

It's a good attitude to take, but your post was far too wordy. Take massive action to make your message more succinct, and don't settle for the verbose version you have up right now. Remember that saying more words doesn't emphasize something -- It does the opposite, because people tune out. Marketing 102.

It's not as though mega-dosing Zinc will grant you exponential (or even linear) increases in Testosterone. Rather, Zinc deficiency is a very common deficiency that can impact Testosterone levels. ZMA (essentially Zinc + Magnesium) is a very popular and common night-time supplement to remedy this if you're deficient. And if you live in the Western world and eat a common Western diet, you likely are.

The issue is that if someone expects linear or exponential growth and instead experiences plateaus, they might give up since they aren't getting what they were "promised" or what they expected. Some might even be horrified to find that in some pursuits, you have to take steps backwards in order to keep the long-term trend up. You might've made a habit of an alright way of doing something, but it wasn't the optimal way of doing that thing. During the time spent unlearning the "lesser" way of goin…

If continual growth were linear, infinite, and never-ending like this, I'm sure that more people would be interested in it. But I guess if it helps you to stay on course by thinking of it like that, keep doing it. Any belief that can be used to make progress towards your goals is more important than what's true, should the two ever come into conflict.

Makes sense to me, drilled down as "acceptance". A man's responsibility is to make the best of the circumstances he's dealt, rather than to complain that others (women or other men) have it better (either with a better starting position or a lower bar to hit).

Still using a crt monitor? starting to get a bit off topic, but LCD monitors burn in too.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
