If you think Homelander is someone you should idolize that's pretty fucked up. He wants better for his child. Yeah, and then he pushed Ryan off the roof of the house without knowing for sure if he had superpowers. The vast majority of people rear another human being without locking the mother and son away in a facility they cannot escape from. Or without murdering innocent people.
