Try everything out. If it sounds boring, do it anyway. If you are 100% sure you hated something, try it again anyway but this time, with an open mind. Try rock climbing. Try joining a chess club. Try playing table tennis with a buddy. You'll eventually find yourself wanting to do one again. If you don't, try something else. It's all about exploration.

And don't focus on things like 'I have to let go' or 'I have to have fun'. One moment, you'll get fed up with seduction, needing to be better, etc. You'll just be. Took me 7 years. Good luck, original poster.

They don't want you. They just want you to believe they want you and when you want them, they'll turn around and laugh and wonder what the hell you were thinking. It's common logic. Women are just in it for self esteem boosts. They don't care about getting it on or anything else

I'm not silly, and there are no rules.

Then deal with the situation however the fk you want. You are obviously hunting for a very specific response that resonates with what you're thinking. Do whatever. It doesn't matter.

I state that the rule is "take your age, divide by 2, and add 7". That's the socially acceptable age range you can date. So you're 26? Divide by 2 = 13. Add 7 = 20. Sorry, bud, 20's the cut off. I know. We didn't get to date girls that age when we were that age. But trust me. The mid-upper 20s girls are much greater than their 18 year old counterparts. Take it as truth

I'll say that, in general, cashiers are sort of obligated to be nice. You did perfect -- it'll come as a surprise, but you'll realize the only way you can 'be' better is to have more experiences. You'll have more lines, react better to situations, etc. You're doing fine. Keep going. Approach!

When I put myself in your position, I think of times where I can't fathom even being compatible with a partner. I am about 800% sure you're experiencing stuff differently, but let's try a thought experiment. Think of a time you laughed really hard or made someone else crack up. Or a group -- some people are more attuned to groups. That's compatibility in a nutshell. Being on par, on the same page, enjoying stuff mutually and without hesitation/argument/thinking... everything just is happening, a…

gg Although part of me thinks you'll get one in like 2-3 days from a girl who is suddenly thirsty a.f.

They're interested, even if it's just slightly. In the "disinterested/neutral/interested" spectrum, you're on the interested, at least. Do you like them? Contact them.

You might think you are doing both if you start approaching, but you might be lying to yourself and actually be spending time swiping and messaging that you could be spending outside. My opinion is to just start approaching in the areas you frequent. Grocery store, library, bus stop, etc.

Enjoy yourself there. Please don't text them out of boredom. When you get back, "Paris. Wow.", etc. , etc.

The day after she's back, contact her. Women are not as soulless as this board will have you believe; she may dig you, as well. Go out and do your own sht and when she gets back, do sht together.

Busy settings. In London, Oxford Street right now seems packed with bored/angry shoppers but occasionally, you notice a chill as fk, awesome gal down to be chatted up. Stuff like that for me. I, too, am avoiding alcohol.

That's how most of my conversations go. Yet I feel afraid to ask for her number because it wasn't some standout conversation and I'd just freak her out. Thanks for this!

Kill it off slowly. ":)" or don't respond. She'll take the hint. Quit feeling guilty about taking control of your life.

"WHOA you wore that yesterday, I swear to God! Just saying hi. You might need fashion advice. What's your name? I see you everywhere!" Anything. At. All. Make it fun; doesn't even have to be "seductive". You might even hate this girl after 5 minutes of talking to her, I don't know. JUST GO

Just go. There's no method, there's no right words. Most of what happens is beyond your control. Just say that "stupid line" that popped in your head. Just be social. It doesn't matter how you feel, what you say, etc. Just talk. You'll find a lot more things feel free flow than incrementally following some routine. That's been my experience, especially when I think I know the outcome. My best two relationships this year were not at all the way I expected them to happen.

You don't even know how good your word selection is, although I'm curious to know if you're feeling self-conscious about that.

This is real. I know because I've been there x1000000 times, and you are not only working your game, but your story game. W/e that means. Keep these. I'll be rooting

That's part of the problem. You're looking at things from a lens with glare on them. Let go of all preconceived notions of anything and everything and go in with a loose attitude. What do I truly think of this, let alone think of it? Do I even give it thought or dismiss it into that bucket of "Fun Things"? Etc.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
