You're not focused on eternity. "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God." Romans 8:18‭-‬19 “Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy bot…

You knew what I was getting at but kept missing the point of what I was saying in your replies. Ha..That's fine, its getting late so maybe you're just sleepy. I don't know who is up or down voting anyone in this thread, but it doesn't matter. You have enough karma to post and comment so don't let it get to you. Have a good night. 😊

I didnt answer because i felt it was irrelevant. He's a little above average. He's not the best looking guy I've been with. I wasn't even sure if I was attracted to him or not at first but I really liked the person he was pretending to be and that made him more appealing physically to me. Slowly but surely his real personality came out and he began to repulse me, and I eventually left him. Even his own mother told him when he let her know I was moving out, that she "hoped he was prepared to be s…

My original point that you seemed to have completely missed,, was that low value men put themselves out there more than high value men... and a guy's attractiveness isn't what we are talking about when we say a guy is a high or low value male. There are plenty of good looking guys online, but are they marriage material like the post says, or high value? Definitely not. I think the miscommunication here is coming from you wrongly assuming that I'm judging a man's value based solely on his appeara…

I dont think you should blame being low value on not winning the genetic lottery. In my last relationship my ex would hit me and wouldn't let me leave the house without him unless I was going to work and wouldn't let me have friends. He looked at porn behind my back after promising me he wouldn't with tears rolling down his face because he knew it hurt me. He spent all his money on pot and psychedelics and had no drive to become even a little successful and became obsessed with the conspiracy th…

I dont think being okay with being alone is always unattractive, that can be seen as being independent, some of the guys that are actively trying to find something on like tinder or OLD sites come off as desperate and I would say thats more off putting

Possibly, I know that there are a lot of women that are just as able to busy themselves with work and hobbies as men, but for me personally I definitely feel more fulfilled in my life when im in a relationship even if I have a job and things I enjoy doing.

I feel like the high quality guys just don't put themselves out there as much as women tend to. Low quality guys are on the prowl more.

I think talking about her blog would be good, not corny. It shows that you're interested in something she cares about. I personally wouldn't be put off by a man approaching me online, as thats how my husband and I met, but I had other men approach me before he did and it seemed like they were only interested in talking to me because I was attractive if that makes sense, I could just tell, the conversations were forced and they were trying to impress me way too much/get too close too fast. My hus…

I would think its weird and super unlike him to make a comment like that honestly. My parents are kinda like that but we are the opposite. We don't really watch TV / movies or care about famous ppl or even other ppl in generals physical appearance aside from like, feeling happy for people on progresspics. We are extremely into each other and dont think much about people outside of our relationship if that makes sense.

I've had nothing but issues from men that had a bunch of female friends. I didn't mind at first but I ended up with these objections after I dated these guys. And for me all the guys I've ever been friends with ended up having feelings for me and always told me and it made me uncomfortable around them. My husband and I both have friends of the opposite sex but they aren't people we talk to very much or hang out with without each other and we are very happy this way. There's no problem with this …

Women aren't aware when we are testing typically, so... there you go lol.. point is proven by the women in this thread claiming they've never tested a guy before. We all know that isn't true. Its like when a person is a total slob and a friend comes to their home for the first time, the friend notices the mess but for the slob thats just the normal way of being. Or how we go noseblind to scents we get used to but other people notice them.

Thats a terrible comparison lol. The problem I think that women have with accepting that we preform these tests is that they assume the claim is that we are delibrately, knowingly doing them and its with malicious intent. Not the case at all. We dont realize when we do them most of the time unless you know what a test consists of and you analyze your behaviour. People very often run on autopilot, people have habits and quirks they are not fully concious of that they do without realizing all the …

Women do shit test though. When I found out about red pill and discovered what shit tests were i would start noticing I've done one after the fact or even during one I would realise what was happening and I'd be like why am I doing this? I see my mom do it. I see women all around me in relationships do it. We may not consciously be doing it with the intention of "im going to test this man" but it is happening nonetheless. I think it can be good to learn about why and when this happens because yo…

I haven't come across many guys who actually care despite how TRP hypes the importance of a woman's low n count, including men who were interested in a LTR. I can understand a man who was raised in his respective faith all his life who preserved his virginity or at least did not have much sexual experience desiring the same from a potential partner, maybe in this situation I could see a woman lying about her n count in fear he might not want to talk to her anymore. I could see a woman wanting to…

Maybe you could remind them that in scripture Paul actually encourages those who are able to lead a single life to do so and that you feel you are called to that. Maybe they would listen and get off your back about it then?

Bored wife with no conflict in my relationship. I like self improvement and most sides have good advice to take away. If I'm not working, doing school or practicing a hobby i come on here when my husband works late. My husband doesn't have reddit (he thinks it's a girl thing) but finds the various pill philosophies interesting to hear about.

I got my flair changed to a pickme on there for defending my religion lol. That was funny to me but what bothers me about fds other than the hypocritical double standards is that there are women on there who are supposed feminists and love women and are their cheerleaders but then will turn around and attack women who want to live differently (in this instance, a woman who wanted to be a stay at home mom while her husband provides) and say that they despise "weak" women.

Guys don't take into account the fact that women have different sized vaginas. Men are different lengths and shapes but we are all the exact same size and want larger men, even the short petite ones 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ men definitely care more about their size than most women, i think many of them get a complex from watching too much porn.

If we lived in a world where people were inherently good and decent, socialism could work. But it never does, because humans have corrupt hearts, and having power is the ultimate test of our hearts that we inevitably fail.. having a concentration of power in the hands of wicked people is extremely dangerous. Thats basically the only hang up with it. Its idealistic and we don't live in a utopia unfortunately, although people refuse to acknowledge this fact about humanity.

I think FDS and RPW / TRP (specifically ChristianRP though) both have some useful and interesting principles and good advice for women to learn and implement. Its good to have a balanced view. I think there are some hypocritical and toxic views in both though, but you just parse through everything, and ignore what doesn't apply. People are like that because they've been hurt.

Yep. The mark of a true Christian man, is that he is gentle with his wife, and puts her needs before his own. Jesus was never self serving, He came to be a servant of others and in this way He showed what a true leader was, and many people in turn, wanted to follow and serve Him, out of love that He first extended.

Before I got saved i used to think this too but the real reason there are so many sermons reminding woman of this is actually because of our sin tinged nature in Adam in a disordered world that fights against the original natural God designed us to live according to... in a perfect world where we are without flaws, where the men are also perfect and don't hurt us, submission would not be so hard or unappealing. We live in a tainted world where men and women are locked into a power struggle and w…

Real Christian men are able to recognize the trouble that being disobedient and having multiple wives brought men in OT times... this guy and any man peddling polygamy because of his "religion" is a heretic. The bible also commands men to love their wives and treat them with respect.

When my husband and I first started dating he deleted all old pictures of him with other girls he dated that were on his social media accounts, because i told him before we were officially together that I thought he had major baggage or was possibly a player because he kept things like that up. their typical arousal style is more visual. A woman doesn't usually just look at a guy and she's ready to go, we need to be put in the mood, but a guy can like.. see tits or whatever and he's in the zone immediately. Men aren't getting off to or trying to couple with themselves so it doesn't usually matter to them how they look

I'm a reformed protestant (presby) I have not met many men who are like this. They are mostly extremely traditional and masculine. The roman catholics and orthodox ive met are quite timid and effeminate like you describe though. I think it depends on the denomination.. a lot of roman catholics these days are kind of liberal so I'm not shocked that so many of them seem gay or effeminate

I agree, I was actually originally going to add to my comment that on the other hand its just as bad with modern american evangelicals. There are a lot of religious people who were given these beliefs growing up and are simply going through the motions who don't understand why they even go to church, and dont even read their Bible.. or they misunderstand it,, they see grace as merely an excuse to keep doing these things. Many somehow dont see porn as something wrong, because it brings them pleas…

My ex and I fought about this so much. The first time I caught him, I woke up earlier than I usually do and came into our living room and he was completely stripped down and watching it on the TV, it wasn't even just regular porn it was women working out and twerking. I think it traumatized me and I couldn't go to the gym with him anymore because I assumed he was just sexualising the girls there. Was so awkward when I caught him..he like ran to meet me to prevent me from seeing the TV.. He bawle…

Carl Jung is not someone I would trust when it comes to this topic. He was an occultist and "channelled " a lot of information from a spirit guide that was attached to him. I used to love his works, until I got saved. Christians should be wary of him especially ones who are less mature in their faith

Paul Washer. Look him up on youtube. He has great sermons on biblical femininity and courting, you will find many parallels between God's perfect design for the behavioural dynamics of men and women and the methods of handling relationships discussed in this sub 👌 also john MacArthur is a great biblical expositer. Voddie Baucham is good too I saw him mentioned. Steve Lawson, James White, Jeff Durbin, Erwin Lutzer, and Matt Chandler are also solid guys with content on youtube. Also check out the …
