Kids growing up in (unexpected) single-income households may not be able to have everything they need, so the other parent at least needs to contribute financially if they’re going to walk out. I don’t know why you think this is a men vs. women issue — women can be deadbeat mothers. And in that case, they would have to pay child support too. What women say is that the final decision will never be yours to make, and that is a fact, as men are not the ones having the procedure done. And you aren’t obligated to take care of a child physically. Nobody ever is.
