| 1 | The mid life, divorced man and women’s perceptionIn Quebec, the government has introduced a new law in July 2025 that gives more "protection" to unmarried couples (common law) who have kids, that will stipulate that property (ie: homes) owned by one party will be considered a "family asset" thus if there is a breakdown in the relationship, there would be a re-distribution of assets.
