I agree with the sales part, i recently just acquired a sales job myself and i can feel my speaking skills have already improved vastly. For me it's also just a fun job, where effort is rewarded adequately both by commissions and encouragement. I gotta admit my boss coming over to me last week after i made my second sale of the night (average is 1/person/shift) high-fiving me and praising my effort felt pretty good confidence wise. Not that i need the approval but positive encouragement really n…

I got a hot of press situation that seemingly fits perfectly in this thread: Background: Currently 7 months into an LTR, it's going fine. Before entering this LTR she fooled around with a guy (no sex, just kissing, dancing etc. w/e), at a party while i was there (we weren't together in any way shape or form at this point, so again w/e). Today she comes home and tells me that she just met this guy for coffee. My first thought was: Well if she's being honest etc. then i guess there's no harm in th…

It should be said that using an appropriate program is also important. Regardless of your goal, a program made by someone with experience will likely benefit you much more than something you made up yourself. I have lost count of how many gym noobs i've seen come into the gym and straight up start doing curls mixed with a little bit of bench, which won't net any noticable results. Check out better starting strengh or the back to basics program if you're totally new. I also recommend the BUFF dud…

I like lifting (obviously) and i have started to do martial arts lately. I play guitar in a band, usually doing between 1-3 jobs a month. I go out, not too often anymore but it still happens from time to time. Apart from that iv'e got some minor hobbies like cooking, different games and different sports from time to time.

I concur, Fellow Dane here going slightly off topic, Feels like every single girl above 8 on the scale has been around the block multiple times, finding any LTR material is a fucking wild goosechase, for me atleast. What's your experience on the matter?

When it comes to video games i think what's important is that your're able to controll it. I live across the country from alot of my good friends and a way i spend time with them is by playing games online. I keep it to around 1-2 hours max per day and that's working out fine for me. I still have time for studying, playing guitar, band practice, lifting 3-4 times a week, cooking proper meals and socializing. But if it's a problem for you to limit yourself then going cold turket is probably bette…

I think an interresting point lies in this post: How well do you yourself fit in this ? What if a person viewed you in this way and you in no way felt the same way? I think while it's important as you state to surround yourself with quality friends, it's equally important to be one of them BUT also to know which friends not to act like this for. I think a part of this can be related to ''no more mr. nice guy'' in the way that you shouldn't look to please. In my opinion these kind ''feelings'' sh…

I was in a similiar situation as you are yourself when i was younger. Before i get into advice i want to say: It's always going to be lurking in the background more or less no matter what you do. However you'll learn how to deal with relapses and hopefully you'll be able to own it rather than succumb to it. Atleast that's how i feel now. What i did when i was in your situation was to talk to my mother. If theres a person in this world whos going to give me tough love that's the person i'll go to…

If she asks you to buy her a drink, just say: I'll buy you one if you buy me one. If she declines just next her.

Just remember when she's coming for the visit, as some of the other guys have said, even if to visit other friends. You say your're beta so if i were you i'd pop over to /seddit and read up on kino escalation to get some pointers so you have somewhat of a plan when she arrives, helped me when i started out after swallowing the pill.

''If your're afraid of getting into the game you have no chance of winning'' Translated from danish, it sounds better and more quote-ish when said in prementioned language.

Adopts your view of the world, opinions and habits. This sounds extremely boring to me if it were to happen.

I've got autumn holidays coming up where i can go home for a week, i think i'll do just that. I'll try out your trick, see if i can make it work. The issue i still need to adress is the social setting, i'm reluctant to join for a movie or beers or whatever in the common area because she's usually there which means i cut myself off. Any suggestions on how to deal with it?
