Senior year of Highschool I made 15$ an hour which was a shit ton for my age at the time, and the only bill I had was 250$ a month at the time. I had so much money I didn’t know what to do with it. Yeah but that passage is from Timothy, which was a letter written by Paul about the Old Testament, so the Verse doesn’t even make a good argument. You can read the Bible front to back, and unless you understand the background of it and the history of it, you actually come up with half ass arguments. It’s like when atheists bring up Leviticus as a legitimate argument...like dude that’s Old Testament, the New Testament supersedes that and declares Christians don’t have to follow Old Testament law …

I wouldn’t mind let’s say ending welfare and funding from section 8 (unless section 8 is given to the homeless) and using that money to give out to people that need it, like college students, lower income communities.
