a subjective scoring system I remember when I was in secondary school I submitted a creative writing essay that got a D (I had never gotten lower than a C before), but we got a new teacher soon after and had to resubmit that assignment and then it got bumped up to an A, how is such a disparity in grading even possible? I fucking sucked at maths and science, but at least I knew I was wrong, I wasn't worried about it being some asshole butchering my grades because they had it out for me.

Another more important issue besides how the law is written is how it's actually carried out by the court system and judges. For example a lot of child custody law is in fact gender neutral, but after the arbitration of judges it becomes heavily slanted towards women. So there need to be a change in the law system that prevents gender bias in the sentencing process, but I don't know how you would fix that.

Your second point is something I always thought of when observing homophobia, when people express hatred of gay people they will primarily express hatred of feminine gay men, not butch women. I better way of phrasing it would be to point out the rights we don't have or inequalities, such as; Can we choose whether or not to have our genitals mutilated at birth?
