I agree with ChocolateBarsGuy. Mine is high enough that I’ll occasionally get messages off girls I’ve met once after they come home from the club empty handed. I only post about achievements, travel, f&b venues that I enjoy, or business. With the occasional post on Instagram with a girl. Many men on here have fragile egos so when something doesn’t go their way, they reject the idea and rationalise it as not being their fault. « I’m not getting results from social media » therefore social media i…

I can relate to this a lot but from the other way - went from skinny to muscular. You relate by either: steering the conversation where you want and being the extroverted person that makes everyone have fun, or by going out and making your own experiences. I believe social media is a necessity in this era. Share what you’re proud of, nothing else. Don’t share shit. Use it to show off and connect with people. It doesn’t matter how many friends you have, what matters is how many people engage with…

If you’re questioning things now - it will only get worse. Regardless of behaviour changes you’ll constantly wonder if she was cheating on you and if you stay it’ll flip and you’ll become the bad guy. « He doesn’t trust me. He’s controlling. He’s emotionally abusive » despite the fact she’s doing things that make you question your sanity. Cut her loose.

We all brand and market ourselves subconsciously or consciously. We like brands because they resonate with who we want to be. Want to be seen as affluent? Wear Tommy or Ralph Lauren. Want to be casual and trendy? Wear Nike Airs. I brand myself as affluent, intelligent and cultured. Unsurprisingly, I have a much higher success rate with affluent university students versus women who work full time and haven’t attended university... birds of a feather, flock together. Does this answer your question…

Went through this 6 months ago with similar lifestyle to you. It’s not you. Raw self confidence brings out other people’s insecurities and makes them compare themselves. How people treat you is a reflection of how they feel about themselves - she probably feels like she won’t be able to keep up with you and your ambition.. so Steven is more on her level and doesn’t make her feel small.

For A1 to A2 level they get you to use grammar and a lot of vocabulary whilst doing the basics with you.

Late to the party. I took classes in Mandarin, French and Cantonese through university. If you’ve done academic language learning, you’ll know it’s shit. So I started using italki to practice conversation and it helped a lot if you can spare ~$60 a week for 3 x 1 hour lessons by professional tutors. Cheaper if you get non professional. I’m moving to Europe soon and need to bring up my French so I’m taking a French immersion course for $1800 for 8 weeks - 30 hours a week of French. Hope this help…

This and OP should start seeing a therapist to deal with the grief from the loss of his mum before he does anything else. This should also help manage his substance abuse, improve his overall demeanor and confidence. Whats the point of being a boss if you don't feel like a boss?

I don’t think you fully understand narcissism and/or been around a true narcissist. People on this sub romanticise narcissism because for the most part - they’ve been losers their entire lives until they discovered TRP. They’ve found a new confidence and sense of self - this is not narcissism. This is confidence. Everybody has narcissistic qualities - it’s common in successful people for a reason. Narcissism is a personality disorder - if you’ve been around a true grandiose narcissist, you will …

I’m going to go a different route to the rest of the comments. You become high value by seeing yourself as high value. How do you do that? You go out and you do things that you want future you to be able to master. Get big? Learn about bodybuilding or powerlifting and nutrition. Pick up girls? Go read seduction theory and go out and fail - over and over again. Want to play better chess? Hire a coach, read theory and practice. It doesn’t matter what you choose - it only matters if you care about …

Fuck all of these comments that insinuate you being a chump. These guys don't know anything about who you are and what you've been through. The majority of them have never been in a relationship with someone with BPD, and they probably come on asktrp to satisfy their ego so that they feel like big men. Now to your question. Are you working out the best you can? Are you slacking off in your study/work? Is your social life active? Is your diet on point? You post a lot about video games - are you u…

This is something I work on with a therapist. I overcompensate by proving to myself I am succesful by setting out to achieve goals. Similar to how a 15 year old boy gets bullied for being nerdy/not getting girls. He spends the next few years working on himself until he can get most girls he wants. He did this to prove to others he could get girls, not for himself. I'm in the same boat but with success. I had people telling me I couldn't do things or that I wasn't smart enough.. so I proved them …

I'll summarise all 4 so other people can see if they don't understand. Lovebombing - over the top love and infatuation at the beginning of the relationship. "You're my soul mate" / buying expensive gifts / over the top sex devaluation - Because you're on a pedestal and no human is perfect. She'll see little faults in you and this shatters her image of you being perfect / her soul mate. So she'll flip between treating you like a king to treating you like a piece of shit that may as well have kill…

For me: lack of close friendships, emotionally abusive parents, playing head games, self harm, no self worth, no impulse control, over the top people pleasing (think crying if you got the wrong coffee for someone) and idealisation of partner.

Honestly - at the end of the day, you wouldn’t reach out to a friend that ghosted you like that.. so it shouldn’t matter if it’s a girlfriend. Their behaviour is appalling and from being on TRP your self worth should be « thank u, next ». My ex came to the door with all my things after I told her I was going to therapy. I asked her if she was sure she wanted to do this, she nodded whilst crying and she hadn’t loved me for 6 months. I gave her a hug and said all the best, then shut the door on he…

Refused to see therapist but regularly on BPD websites and paired with 8/9 criteria needed to diagnose. In most relationships you sit between 40-70 on a scale of 0-100 of happiness. BPD begins at a 90 with 0 bad things making you think you’ve found the one or the best girl. The sex is insane and they will do anything for you. Mine bought me a $500 pair of boots for Christmas 2 months after dating. Then after about 3 months. It goes from 90-10 and gradually flips to being predominantly bad and yo…

Broooo - give me €100 and a 3 day weekend. My dick definitely won’t work by the end of it hahaha. Re: your edit. I don’t buy into the hype of fucking heaps of girls. At the end of the day we’re all human and we’re all damaged in one form or another. Shit - that’s why most of us are here on this forum. We’re all looking for the same thing at the end of the day - to be seen and loved.

Hi, I don’t DJ professionally. I bought a DJ deck after too many nights in Berlin and mixed for myself at home. I rarely do ONS - It’s not enjoyable to me. I don’t know why, I don’t enjoy it and it’s not for me. I have had 2 LTRs in 7 years for a combined total of 4.5 years. DEVI my man. Hope this fixes any ambiguity and doubt.

Great reply man - you sound a lot like my therapist. I have a lot of trouble making sense of how damaged people think and I wrap myself up in it.. but at the end of the day it’s pointless because they don’t think like a healthy person.

Hey man, I’m glad someone else understands what I’m going through. I read some of your comment history, and I agree that the whole time they view their partner as an object that brings status/power/money/sex. I’m sad to learn that you’ve gone through something similar. How are you these days? S

I’ve read all of the TRP books and my favourite is The Rational Male by Tomassi I think ? Other books I read are mainly business, economics, languages, philosophy, and psychology. If you’re interested in those I can recommend you more too. However, you need to go outside your comfort zone and practice these things. Do it with people you’ve just met so you don’t get backlash from people that know the previous you. You’ll eventually find a new social circle and people will see you as someone compl…

TRP constantly drills in the 'plates, plates, plates' mentality and for beginners who lack self awareness - this is great. It allows them to detach themselves and their emotions from situations. However, relationships can be fulfilling and teach you a lot about yourself. If you're not sure if this is oneitis - ask yourself if you find yourself waiting on her texts or worrying if you've said the wrong thing to offend her, or if you change your plans to suit her. You'll know your answer. I've spun…

Zero. Alcohol metabolises at .016% per hour. It takes 5 hours to metabolise the USA legal limit to drive of .08. I don't feel a buzz for the legal limit so it's not worth it. Source: www.drinkfox.com/information/alcohol-metabolismSource is also not an academic article so take w grain of salt.

Tacking onto this because it’s a great response. // You shouldn’t be thinking about girls if you’re not looking after yourself first. You don’t build a house without building the foundation first. Your lifts should be much higher and as a result, you will be much bigger or at least look athletic. Fix your mental and physical health and fix your social circle, then chase poon. These all contribute to your mental health. Search for Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs for better understanding towards altru…

Run whatever you have time for and what is right for your current level of fitness. PHUL can be a good beginner program if you eat right and improve your lifts and technique week to week. Otherwise run nSuns, or PPL.

I left my last LTR of 3 years for a mixture of reasons. I want to improve career prospects when I graduate by living overseas and learning languages. I’m currently in France, will stay here or move to HK or China on a scholarship. I packed on 25kg of mass over the 3 years. She didn’t have the drive or motivation to pursue goals - this includes fitness, hobbies and career. (she was quite happy working as a barista for the rest of her life. No dreams of becoming an owner or furthering herself). My…

Hey mate. This recently happened to me. I very recently broke up with LTR of 3 years due to me chasing a career. Pre LTR - I stuck to university, work and girlfriend. Was skinny, no confidence, no direction, and partied too much. Post LTR - I’m 30kg heavier, more self assured than ever before, run 2 businesses, dress 20x better and treat partying like a nice dinner - every once in a while is cool. In the past 6 weeks after break up, I’ve been opened by 7’s and 8’s, had more sex than I thought wa…

Hey mate, Look up Charles Tyrwhitt. They make great shirts that are better quality than Ralph Lauren. You can buy 3 for $99. I went from extra slim to classic fit in the space of a year and they fit perfectly. For reference, I’m 6’2. 70kg -> 95kg with broad shoulders and decently thick neck.
