3	Why is it socially acceptable for women to hit men? you didn't mention the incredibly basic concept of the male species being on this planet to protect women. Man hurting a woman breaks the basic concept of survival, a man getting hurt is normal anyway, his body has always been on the line, whether it's dangerous hard labour or war (but in my view it's been important for the fast development of society to view men with no empathy albeit possibly immoral)	/r/MensRights	29/07/14 09:38 PM

0	A new book: "Are men obsolete in the modern world?" You can imagine the outcry a book called "Are Women Obsolete?" no idea if the book is all about how men are defective but in my opinion it's an interesting concept. Women will always matter because they 'create' life, machines will probably eventually replace men in hard labour and there'll be loads of frozen sperm, lesbians couples can choose some sperm already I think. 1	Boys Need Help with Self-Esteem, Too well no sh!t In social groups I've observed throughout school and university the number of zero status guys with social issues is about 5 times as many as the girls. 1	Not all Men in the UK had the vote until 1918. When only high status men could vote pre 1918, I'm not sure men on average had much more access to a vote than woman because: if you were a peasant, women won't marry down and you never are involved with a vote, however, women could marry up and be represented by their husband.	/r/MensRights	24/03/14 09:40 PM

2	Just learned that males commit suicide at a rate of 4-1 vs females, then I found this. Page 4 is scary as hell. Surely the root of gender differences in suicide come down to the fact that a woman has an intrinsic value, whereas a man has to compete for status and hence sometimes fail Feminist related stuff maybe has had an effect e.g. - women can do anything a man can (now there is no actual point to the male gender, you barely need any men for reproduction) and general lack of identity because in the media it's never about men	/r/MensRights	01/03/14 11:20 PM
6	Men are not to blame (from /imgoingtohellforthis) I'm not sure I agree with the idea of men having better social groups. It's only my experience of life so it doesn't count for much but I've barely ever seen men supporting each other like I've seen women do. Unless your social status as a guy is very high you'll be the butt of most jokes, find it hard to get many sentences in before being shouted over and generally be 1 upped a lot. 1	UK government STILL only features abuse of women by men in its "This Is Abuse" campgain. (See Text) ha, I get annoyed when those adverts come on and suggest to me I might be mistreating my girlfriend..
