Sorry, what toxic behaviour? This place has been really supportive for me!

I would recommend Pinterest. You can browse/scroll for inspiration on key words like "outfit" "how to be feminine", etc.... that being said, I just want to ensure you're doing this because you want to? Clearly your fiance likes you just the way you are, otherwise he wouldn't have proposed! You also don't have to dress a certain way to subscribe to the Red Pill lifestyle!

What's your cleaning style? There's a few popular methods/blogs out there, such as Fly Lady, Clean Mama, A Slob Comes Clean. Google "housekeeping blogs" and browse until you find one that speaks to your style!

To answer your question, I just maintain a polite demeanour; I say “sir/ma’am” or “Mr./Mrs.” when addressing people I don’t know; I address coworkers by name as it adds formality/personalization (instead of “hey, can you help me with this?” I might say “Hi Sandra, when you have a free moment could you help me ______” ) One thing that drives me up the wall at work is that people always assume others are available at any given moment, and will walk up and start talking, not realizing that I might …

I’m such a planner nerd and I can’t tell you how happy I was that you included photos! I did some uncommon cleaning items like laundering blankets, cleaning the car, etc. I wrote a rough draft of what I would like to focus on in 2020; I’m not into Resolutions per se; I just see a new year as an opportunity to set measurable goals (like business set quarterly ones) Still need to sit down and flesh it out into a written plan. I am buying a 2020 planner today (DayDesigner) I want to go through my d…

I didn’t even know how to cook meat when I moved out! May I suggest starting with simple-to-make but hearty meals to build your confidence? Websites like Campbells Soup, Pillsbury and Kraft Foods have really tasty, easy to make meals

I think financially and emotionally it makes sense, but biologically it doesn’t. Apart from the risks of pregnancy after 35 to mother and child, I feel at my age of 34 I would not have the energy to pull all-nighters with a newborn, or chase around toddlers at age 40. I would have to pay for college tuition at a time when I should be relying on a pension and its subsequent budgeting. I also would take into consideration that if I had a baby between 35-40, I would be old enough to become feeble o…

I have the same issue. You are going to think I’m insane because of the shoulders, but I swear cap sleeves are going to be flattering AND feminine! Accentuate your waist to be more feminine, (think: belts around your waist to draw attention there! ) and opt for feminine patterns- florals, pastels, etc.

I completely understand where you are coming from since you are financially secure. The problem is not with you, but with society’s expectations of this holiday. While I am sure you did not expect anything in return, his mom may now feel obligated to get you something of equal value next time, which I know was not your intention! There isn’t anything you need to do, just maybe keep it low-key next time! You are lovely and I am certain his Mum loved the necklace!

I’m struggling in my marriage right now because my husband is battling depression. He didn’t buy me a gift. I’m committing myself to stand by him and RPW to nurture him and try to guide him through this. I brought him coffee in bed on Christmas morning while I made him a traditional breakfast. I have made a ton of food for all the Christmas events we have had so that he has not had to do anything but show up, and bought him Christmas gifts that support and encourage the hobbies that bring him ha…

I would also like to hear more about this and how you are handling it. I’m in an identical situation (right down to sexual avoidance and admitting shame) but he says he hasn’t been traumatized and doesn’t know why he feels this way. I’m not sure how to help him.

My best friend is hosting this year so I am merely contributing a cheesy broccoli casserole and a lemon bundt cake but I’ve got a roast chicken, potatoes, carrots and stuffing for the 27th planned at home for husband and I.
