Communism gets a bad rap because it requires a strong authoritarian state to make it work. If everything is "free", people are naturally incentivized to sit back, do nothing, and just wait for free stuff to arrive. To get that process moving, somebody will have to coordinate and force all people to get off their ass and do their work. They also have to dictate exactly what kind of work that is, which is very hard to figure out, and requires a large bureaucracy.

Averaged over all jobs, men are more involved with "things" and woman are more involved with "people". The "people" jobs are often harder to scale, where jobs involving "things" can be automated and streamlined to handle larger volumes, and therefore higher profits per hour work.

The whole speech is still framed in the idea that men are the ones that have to change, hence the name "HeForShe". Women, apparently, are already perfect. HeForShe is a global effort that seeks to involve men and boys in achieving equality by taking action against negative gender stereotypes and behaviors.
