I don’t like the way some authorities have it worded. ‘Pray the Litany of Humility to obtain humility.’ Sounds like: ‘Do this one weird trick and get humility’ Humble is not acquired, it is given. It’s something you are, are not, or are not enough. No offense to you, however, but couldn’t resist voicing my view on some of the sites I found describing the Litany. True, we both agree about that last part. Satan had his play with the anti-christ and false prophet. After this, they, except satan will be trown in hellfire. Satan remains, however in bondage. If you’re too scared to hurt feelings, the message will be emptied and rendered ineffective. Feelings should not be the focus, not in the ‘hype up feelings’ nor in ‘prevent to hurt feelings’. I believe you should be able to say truly what’s going on. If you’re hurting the feelings, add that into it: ‘While this will hurt you if <insert bad behaviour>, exactly for that reason, you should <insert preferred behaviour>’. Good luck. I want to warn you, because Catholicism in doctrine is mostly compromised compared to scripture alone. A reformed church would do well, not necessarily on the RP part, because of it's feminized culture, but it's way closer to biblical doctrine in essence. While you might never have known this, and for a reason, Catholicism is largely influenced by collectives and individuals sharing hidden partnership in the masonic bodies.
