Hollywood is very left-leaning and biased. But women in media still get the short end of the stick. For one thing, it is irrefutable that the vast majority of protagonists and main characters in movies are men, highest in the action/thriller genres. Women in media mostly feature as supporting characters, written as stereotypically feminine and frequently in the role of wife/mother, and then they're also written as just hysterical where I'm not sure what the goal of the writers was other than ann…

Damn I wish I were friends with a girl like that. But seriously, what era.......what location was this? Maybe I underestimate the insanity of high school bitches.

Men and women communicate in different ways. It's a fact that men are more honest about what they think of people and what they want, but on the other hand they have trouble talking about their deep concerns and feelings because it's unmanly. Women are good at talking about their mental troubles but on the other hand are conditioned to always be nice and not point out people's flaws.

What feminism should be: a movement that supports and sticks up for women everywhere. A movement that collaborates with other rights movements including men's rights. What feminism is today: a clusterfuck with too many meanings and radicals.

Well plenty of men in the manosphere would say that in the modern world at least, men are more disadvantaged than women. But from my observation, it probably has to do with testosterone and over-confidence. See, as much as some men don't want to admit, really psychologically unhealthy and disadvantaged women exist. Unless those women are bipolar/narcissistic, they generally have an attitude of woe is me and how could people do this to me this is how life just is. Men however are more likely to b…

Well let me say this, both women sound pretty cool to hang out with, but I'd hang out with woman no.2 because she's more relatable. I wouldn't feel really worthy to hang out with woman no.1 because I'm nowhere near as successful as her. Also goes if she were male.

I meant to say that these coping strategies keep people in a bubble and prevent them from making friends. It's also a thing that social skills can regress the longer you stay isolated.

There comes a point where a coping mechanism becomes a tool of isolation.

This can be so true, it also has to do with the fact that women seek older, more mature men while men date down and keep wanting to date women in their early twenties no matter what age they are. Yeah every single woman I know has had her taste in men change. A common experience I find is being attracted to those psycho men in media such as Heath Ledger's Joker, gangsters and serial killers. For me that was a phase of only a few months at 13, and at least I never got the point where I was seriou…

Fat positivity activists have distorted what 'thick' means. Thick means curvy, a woman who is maybe a little bit overweight which is almost impossible not to be in this obesogenic society. Fat activists think this and even above is 'thick ' or 'curvy' whereas this is what curvy really means.

Religion is basically people taking a particular philosophy too seriously and creating all-knowing and infallible figureheads and books so people can't protest against said philosophy. Said religions were also spread through war and colonization. Buddhism and some other religions have no gods and are not such rigid philosophies. It proves that people need a philosophy and a guided way of life, not religion.

I was actually brought up in eastern Europe That explains everything really. Now I know your arguments are irrelevant. If you want to remain with what you think are 'traditional gender roles' then be my guest and continue living in the poorest parts of Europe. And have you ever wondered, if this was equivalent of slavery, why the fuck would the slaver marry their slave? In a grand ceremony where they both promise in front of God(whom they likely actually believed exists) to be together forever…

The idea that men want to oppress their own mothers and daughters is pure horseshit, and the only way you can believe that is thru projection, in other words you think men want to oppress you because that's what YOU would do if you were in the same position, you're operating in bad faith, either because you're been hurt or don't have the social/emotional intelligence to consider any interests past your own nose. We're not talking about men in 2019. We're talking about men pre-voting rights.

You judge the past by your modern western upbringing, which is built around narcissism and extreme levels of unwarranted self-importance Were you not brought up in modern, Western society too? Or does narcissism just only exist in women to you? You mistake protection, and overprotection, for oppression You have a very skewed view of history. You believe a whole lot of feminist bullshit which is half lies(i.e. "women were property") and half logical fallacies(i.e. "there was no law that speci…

... are you from round here (western secular democracies) or not? Yes why do you ask...? Like are may views on dating and gender so weird? The reality is that dating is not free for women even if someone else is paying for the food. I get what you're saying. That's why I believe in splitting the bill.

It's not all about men (shocker I know). Someone's childhood can severely affect how they see themselves. Psychology (not necessarily feminism or the wider world), acknowledges that the majority of females with EDs were bullied by the women in their family or by other girls. Other girls, easy, they bully and pick on a girl's non-existent fat because they're just jealous and mean. But a crazy control-freak of a mother, who may or may not bully the girl for the same reason as above, can totally …

Why is gender equality necessary? Um, so everyone has an equal chance to be happy and live to their ultimate potential, and so no one is discriminated against and unfairly treated based on their sex. Did that ever occur to you? I mean that's the literal definition of gender equality. Look at countries that don't have it; they are shitholes.

Philosophically-speaking, yes. There are 3 denominations of Christianity yet they still call their members Christians. There are about a dozen denominations of Islam yet they still call their members Muslims. Historically, feminists have bashed women calling themselves feminist when they are against abortion. And so on. There's a cool lady on youtube who calls herself the Factual Feminist and she dispels the many lies and trash coming out of third-wave feminism. Her definition of feminism is lit…

Both AWALT and AMALT have been alive throughout all of history. The difference is that AWALT referred more to women cheating or turning out to be more than men could handle, and AMALT was used so women could protect themselves from rapists, murderers and abusive men.

You make the mistake of thinking that all women care about what some insecure men think, and that all women are heterosexual.

That's an interesting questions. I like some feminine qualities in a man like being soft, empathetic and caring, and for me it's almost a deal-breaker if a guy doesn't dress well. I don't even mind if they cry and get sad as often as women do. When it comes to having an overtly feminine side, such as cross-dressing and make-up, I'm not really a fan. If they don't keep it to designated events like drag shows and parties, it is going to be a deal-breaker for me. And cross-dressing for fetishistic …

Only shallow women with little ambition would make it a goal to be a housewife or a sugar baby. Most people start out with goal to create a career for themselves and actually build their lives and reputation. Women then get side-tracked and stall their career to spend more time with their children. Then again, many women try to continue their career after the kids have grown a bit, but they will never get those years back and their career will almost never be as great as their husbands. I'm stil…

Would I divorce for the reasons you described here? Yes. Unless my partner is going through a really serious depression/mental illness which might put him in a more redeeming light. Money is one of the most important things in the world. It's also one of the things that couples intrinsically know to bring to the table.

Who buys a new dress for a date with someone new? And like, if a woman is desperate to have matching bra and panties then she's expecting sex within the first few dates. Tbh, I think the natural progression when you start dating someone is that the dates get less and less uppity until you're basically just hanging out and there's no need to look beautiful all the time.

Yep. I also cringe when in the redpill sphere someone's example of 'true female beauty' is a dumb, blonde college girl or a submissive Eastern European housewife.

Simple: get a partner who does not party so hard. I'm not a big party person so you'll almost never see me at a club. There's many other ways to enjoy people's company, and typically the people at a club are not my type of people.

Definitely. Don't tell me someone truly loves you if they can't live with you or even have a modest, state marriage to simply tie the knot. I've known couples like that. I know a woman who's been in a 'relationship' for more than a decade. They used to live together initially but the guy moved because he wanted to have dogs even though she was allergic to dogs. He's also pessimistic. They meet up for dates and outings but will never marry or live together again. Typically the more submissive spo…

I think most people will agree that it's biologically natural to be sexually attracted to physically mature bodies, and that acting on the impulses when someone is underage is wrong. But........too many guys stoke the fire and don't regulate their thoughts, though they might never act on them. I think that's also wrong.

Please tell me how male sexuality is repressed or demonized besides in feminazi circles and one-off insane rape accusations. A modern man can have sex with a prostitute, hook up with a girl on tinder, watch his weekly porn, and get into a committed relationship without being judged in the slightest. Also, it is an undeniable fact that men commit the vats majority of rapes across time, space and culture.

I think that's to do with the perception that a guy who shows a lot of affection is effeminate, and lots of women are turned off feminine men.

Attractive people no doubt. Attractive people always have many options while unattractive people, even i they have options, would want to savor the relationship because they know it's a rare opportunity. Same logic with the high divorce and debauchery rates in celebrities.

I don't like traditional men. Traditional, as an identity, always means patriarchal and hating the 'degeneracy' of modern life and modern women.

Hookup culture is propogated by people who 100% of the time want to hook up. Unfortunately some people are assholes and give vibes of a long-term relationship and only revealing later that they want to hook up.

Your wording makes you look like you're accusing women of deliberately denying sex to hurt or manipulate their husbands when that is absolutely false. Men and women are built differently. It's very typical in any (heterosexual) relationships for men to be hornier than women. Women's sex drive decreases drastically as they age and they enter menopause, while men will always have a libido and are fertile for their entire lives. Women's horniness and general will to have sex goes way down after the…

I think the role of at least a second parent in a child's life is hugely important. But as we know from studies on same-sex parents, the gender of the parent doesn't make a difference in their life chances.

Didn't Roosh V actually petition to make rape legal on one's own property? After that, some female protesters who were mostly seasoned boxing participants gathered outside his conference hall and shut down his event, and then misogynistic men around the world had the gal to say the protesters were 'hypocritical' for being violent when their movement advocated peace.

For once I agree. As a woman who's been called 'rude' by a lot of women, I can say that women typically expect all their friends to be uplifting, supportive and 'yaaas kween. You go girl!', and any sort of harsh truths will hurt them and possible end the friendship. Happened to me. To be honest I think this sensitivity stems from their upbringing. Maybe its hard for some people here to believe, but girls are still raised on some pretty sexist stereotypes. Mothers prevent them from playing in the…

Perhaps. But before, it was definitely the case where a woman frequently found herself being hounded for sex on the first date and promptly ending any relationship that could have been with the gentleman and moping about 'where are all the good men'.

It's a thing in some redpill spaces and I can't understand the logic of it. To be honest, I think most single moms are only slightly less shitty than the deadbeat dads. It takes two to make a baby, and it's completely unavoidable that women have more responsibility than men because they are built to get pregnant and have a baby. And just the nine months of pregnancy + birth is already a huge struggle. On top of that, these mothers not only don't have the means to give their child a good life, bu…

Yes I believe toxic femininity exists. Femininity becomes toxic when: The desire to be a mother makes a woman feel like there is no point to life if she doesn't have children. The natural passiveness in women's attitudes allows men (and women) to control them. A naturally friendly disposition turns into a need to please everyone. A desire to dress themselves up in cute stuff turns into a need to always look 'pretty'. When worry turns into nagging and invasion of personal space. When having a p…

There is absolutely 0 chance I will have biological children. I disliked children quite a bit, and if I ever decide to have children, whether its influenced by a partner or not, I would foster or adopt. I see no point in making a child just so that I and other people can coo at how similar they are to me when there's kids who are suffering and need love.
