First, the law differs by states, provinces, and countries. Then, usually there's no reasonable expectation of privacy in a public place. Like for example the Ohio University false rape case of almost 2 years ago with the drunken guy eating her in public.

But please, next time this happens tell him to call the police and have them present when picking up the kids from the babysitter, have the police as witness file in the report that they handed the kids over to him for the kids safety, Or have the police take the kids to CPS. That's one way of seeing it. The way I see it is the calm, nice, well toned message from the MHRM that has been softly spoken since the 1970s has fallen on deaf ears, has been ignored. It's only very recently that we started getting obnoxious and "in your face" that people have started paying attention.
