A couple of people have commented something along the lines of "maybe she needs a strong Christian male man" or "check it our to be sure" that obviously has a *wink wink* vibe to it. That's pretty manipulative and unhelpful I think. Don't compromise your bar for a woman. You want a woman who pursues Christ and is convicted to follow the scriptures. Who will place Christ above you, herself, and her kids no matter what, ideally. A Proverbs 31 and Ephesians 5 wife. A woman who will want to read scr…

Sadly... I think this is some very solid advice.

^Chuck knows what he's talking about.^ The only thing I'd like to add is to immerse yourself in the scriptures. Read the gospels and epistles. Jesus and Paul were more generous and more loving than I have ever been and likely will ever be. Were they people pleasers? HECK NO. They stood up for truth. Jesus always held frames against the Pharisees. Paul flamed people who weren't walking in the truth (Galatians). EDIT: And make sure you're not going to some blue pill church where everyone with thei…

What you said ain't wrong but look at OP. He's obviously insecure and wants to appease people and be popular. Boldly sharing the gospel will offend and at times alienate you. I think the reality of the gospel and its scope needs to set in for OP and then all of that stuff will bounce off because he doesn't set his mind on earthly things. The stuff you're saying is just basic red pill self-help that fails to see the bigger picture. It's just not what a high schooler needs before he's bold and fir…

Repent and believe in the gospel, my friend. Find a good church. Take a good year or two to become grounded in your faith and mission before looking around at possible prospects. Lift in the mean time

Awesome story! Really shows that "Red Pill Christians" without "Christ" is just a bunch of BS.

Just because you're attractive and would be able to make out or sleep with these women doesn't mean you should. Even if they want you to, it doesn't mean you aren't sinning against them and very likely hurting their future relationships. They're going to the youth group to become better. I hope you are, too. "Pulling" women in a bible study won't make them or you more godly or disciplined people. To give you an example, you can bring drugs or alcohol to an Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous meeti…

"I also think it is just as easy for a man to cheat; men just suck at reading convert communication." Bro get out of here. That's a joke. Your average girl can get laid way easier. Girls don't need to develop game or humor or anything. The fact that men will be more overt about it by itself makes it easier for women. If they look alright and don't get fat they can sleep with most any guy. The same is not true for men. The same is even more true for hot women compared to hot men.

Obviously does hold true for desire. If it didn't, then why would this sub help so many Christian marriages? It's hard to parse out who would or would not act on hypergamous impulses. If the Bible is true, it seems necessary that born-again women could resist those temptations absolutely- even if the husband was fat and ugly, the guy was tall, jacked, and alpha and nobody would find out- solely based on their devotion to higher causes (the Gospel). But the thing is that doesn't stick out as much…

I don't think this should be much of a question considering how clear Jesus, Paul, and the words and acts of the other Apostles are. I think that's obviously the hierarchy of how love ought to be distributed. I'll list scripture if need be which seems trivially easy even for NT commands written to Christians that directly applies to us today. You should go to scripture before this sub and it really doesn't feel as though you've done that. I don't know too much about the Seventh Day Adventist Chu…

19-year-old weighing in here so I'm sure you'll already take any advice I give with a grain of salt. Most people here are on either side of the fence with kissing at all before marriage, and I'm firmly in that camp, leaning towards no kissing at all. My girlfriend and I have been together a year and a half and kissed about a month after we started dating- a little more actually. I would agree with Deepstrength's assessment in principle, and in a practical sense, of course you shouldn't kiss on t…

There is zero scripture quoted to back up these assertions. Most of this is you abdicating and certain responsibilities as a husband because men can do whatever the hell they want and if his wife doesn't like it, she can leave. "If she doesn't like it, she can leave."? Come on, that is not the attitude Jesus or Paul on the topic of marriage, and neither should it be the attitude of Christian husbands. And Paul didn't himself even experience the profound mystery of how marriage reflects Christ an…

I think what the red pill community is often hesitant to acknowledge, perhaps just because of how blatantly obvious it is, is that the same principles are true of men in regard to attraction. No matter how much he might say his wife is the most beautiful girl ever or that he has eyes for nobody else- you put him in a room with Blake Lively that's hungry for him and practically all men will give in. Or how many husbands might say they don't want their wife to be skinny or have long hair. I'm in c…

I disagree with the premise that one has to be ready to immediately have kids after the wedding in order to get married. He just wants to be smart about it. He knows this women is the one to raise his kids, but wants to save it a few years maybe to get to know the person much more and be on the same page on how to raise their future kids. Yes, I think we all agree that birth control, on the whole, has been a negative on society. I don’t think this is because it’s fundamentally a tool only used f…
